C at the time and Megan traveled all the way to us to do our engagement shoot. Not only did she do that but she captured our beach shoot in the middle of January in the most amazing day. Fast forward to our wedding day, 10/11/2024, and Megan totally nailed our big day!!! I fell in love with her work from the moment we booked and she went above and beyond on our wedding. She captured our day so beautifully and it couldn’t have been a more magical day because of her. She was so easy to work with, professional, knew exactly what we wanted and executed it perfectly. Megan is truly the best and feels like family. We are so so blessed to have had her. I would choose her over and over again. We first met Megan in person in March when she traveled to North Carolina for our engagement photos. Yes, you read that right - she traveled all the way to us because my now husband is an emergency medicine resident doctor and was not able to get any time off before our wedding to to travel to PA for our photos. While weather in NC in March is typically sunny and warm, we had the unfortunate timing of a snowstorm with 20-some degree weather! Despite the cold, Megan was a trooper and captured the most beautiful engagement photos for us - her energy had our spirits light and kept us laughing through the entire session, despite the cold making our limbs go numb! Fast forward a few months to our wedding day and once again, Megan was the perfect ray of sunshine to make our day beautiful. She and Theresa were very organized leading up to our big day to create a wedding day timeline, along with a shot list that we wanted to be sure to capture. On our wedding day, Megan arrived early with her second shooter and got to work on our details photos, then followed her timeline to a tee so we were never behind schedule! She had the best energy to get us excited for the pictures with my bridesmaids, but also was there to hand me a tissue and give me a hug when we did our private vow exchange before the ceremony. During our ceremony, she captured beautiful photos, and continued to do so after the ceremony for our family formal photos and our couple photos. We even snuck out during dinner for sunset photos, and she kept them nice and short so we never felt like we were missing out on our wedding! Another important note is that Megan did not leave us anticipating photos for very long - she sent our highlights photos within 3 days of our wedding! We were blown away by the quality of the photos and the speed at which she delivered them to us. Overall, if you want a wedding photographer who is professional, organized, passionate, friendly, and who really cares about you, do not waste any more time looking and go book Megan! How speedy! She gave them to us so fast, I was so happy and amazed at how beautiful the pictures turned out. Better than I could have imagined! Every picture is perfect in every way. We were lucky enough to have Megan shoot our Engagement session, Covid “Micro-Wedding”, & then our long awaited, many-time-postponed actual wedding. We went into our engagement session not entirely confident with being in front of the camera. By the end of the session we were so confident with melting, dipping, twirling, and just having the best time. Megan gives clear precise instructions on each pose. Her personality and smile are so infectious, you have no choice but to smile ear-to-ear. Megan has a way of positioning you in outdoor areas that you would normally walk past thinking nothing of and then making it look like the most breathtaking landscape and thus, an amazing photo & memory. Her knowledge of natural lighting is apparent as she eagerly escorts you to a new spot, grinning with excitement because the lighting is so perfect.
