I'm Megan, a Michigan-based wedding photographer who is ready to travel anywhere to capture your love story.
I fell in love with wedding photography instantly, and I want you to fall in love with your wedding photos! I believe that no two weddings are the same. Each couple I meet has a different story, a different vision, and a unique perspective on what their day means to them. It's my job to capture all of those beautiful moments but also the silly ones you don't remember until you're sitting on your couch with your partner, looking through your photo gallery.
My mission is simple: to ensure you fall in love with your photos, just as deeply as I fell in love with documenting them.

Hi! I'm Megan. Thanks for checking out my page! I think you are in the right place. (; I'm a photographer and filmmaker based out of Grand Rapids. I got into wedding photography what now feels like forever ago when my uncle asked me to photograph his wedding. Now, over 80+ weddings later, I'm OBSESSED and cannot wait to capture your day. If I'm not at a wedding, I'm probably sitting at my desk with my cat Scooter, a large ice coffee, editing, and watching Friends in the background. I can't wait to learn more about you!

Megan was an excellent choice for our wedding day! She is great at giving directions and is the best photographer if you are inexperienced at posing or camera shy. After our engagement shoot, we felt confident about the wedding day, and our wedding photos turned out beautiful!

There are not enough words to describe how AMAZING Megan is! She captured our engagement photos and our wedding photos and we are obsessed with how they turned out! My husband and I cannot stop looking at our wedding photos and it is so hard to pick our favorites! Megan's husband Nick did our videography for our wedding and he had us both crying at our Wedding Film and Ceremony when we got them back with our photos! We cannot be more grateful for everything that Megan and Nick did to make our day so special!!

I cannot say enough good things about Megan! She is AMAZING! She took our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and we couldn’t be happier with her. She is so kind and fun to work with. The fact that she’s able to send sneak peek photos within 24 hours (usually sooner) is INSANE! She is such a hard worker. We can’t wait to see all of our wedding photos! My (new!) husband and I would definitely recommend Megan to other couples who are planning a wedding or need other photography done!

Megan was amazing! Excellent communication prior to our wedding day. She is so skilled at her job. We flew through the portraits and our posed pictures because she knew exactly what we were looking for and how to get it done quickly. We really appreciated her professionalism and how she helped instruct us in the various poses throughout the day. She worked so well with our videographers, always checking in to make sure that they got their shot. And the best thing of all, our pictures turned out incredible. They are spectacular and she made feel beautiful. They are warm and rich, the perfect tone for our greenhouse wedding. We highly recommend Megan Kathleen Photos!

Megan is truly the most kind, thoughtful, and talented photographer. She has done my undergraduate graduation photos, graduate graduation photos, engagement photos, and now wedding photos!! She did such an amazing job of capturing the real, emotional, and fun moments of our wedding day. I loved Megan! She was a great vibe throughout the day (along with her co-photographer she brought along) - she's bubbly, fun, and added an awesome energy to the group. She also sent a batch of amazing sneak peeks the night of the wedding which was so appreciated! Cannot wait to get my final pictures.

Megan was absolutely incredible. My husband and I felt so comfortable all day and Megan's ideas for photos and locations were genius; she even got us into a roof-top speakeasy bar before it opened. She not only took beautiful photos for us, but also helped us keep things moving along seamlessly. No one could figure out how to bustle my dress, but Megan was able to do it in less than a minute. Hands down the best vendor we hired for our wedding and we will keep her in mind for all of our future life events that we need photographed!

Megan did an excellent job shooting our wedding. She made both my husband and I feel so comfortable, helped us figure out the best spots for photos, and captured exactly what we wanted in the warmth and style we wanted. She was such a great photographer and got the photos back in a timely manner! We LOVE our photos and would absolutely recommend Megan to anyone.

Megan did an amazing job for our wedding! Our pictures are beautiful and I love her editing style. We are so happy. She kept us moving along before and after our ceremony to get all our pictures taken. We were able to enjoy most of our cocktail hour with our guests as all of our photos had been taken already (couple portraits, wedding party, family photos, etc). Highly recommend!

Megan is amazing! We had a very small wedding (10 people) in the backyard of a house on Lake Michigan. During the whole planning process and the day of, Megan was flexible, professional, and fun. We love how the pictures turned out and would hire her again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

My husband and I just got married this past weekend and had Megan and her second shooter Sarah cover it, and I couldn't be happier! She is such a pro and had just enough of a plan to still make our day feel casual and fun, but still got a lot of great shots. During the reception I had a couple photos I wanted with various groups of people, and she made a point to come find me and ask if now was a good time. And she was very patient while I had to wrangle all my cousins. :) I had sneak peek photos texted to me the next morning by 10am, what?! 10/10 would recommend Megan!

Megan is absolutely amazing to work with. My now husband found her online and booked her for surprise engagement photos. We fell in love with her and her style of photos.
