My husband and I got married during the Covid-19 pandemic and had to be nimble as we changed dates, cut guests, and essentially replanned a wedding that was less than three months away. Megan was there for all that, even getting on the phone to talk out what it would look like to reschedule not just for photography, but for a wedding overall. She was so supportive of our decision to postpone and she rescheduled her services free of charge even before any state mandate required us to postpone an in-person event. She made me and my (camera shy) husband feel so comfortable and like we had known her forever! She tended to me during the rain, got every shot I asked for and played in the rain with us. She even agreed to meet us at Moses Cone Manor prior to the wedding for pictures but when the weather turned bad she easily adjusted, brought umbrellas and we had some of the most beautiful shots at Crestwood! She was able to get us to relax and have fun, not just posing for a pic, but laughing and being ourselves...which makes for the best memories! I eventually got so stressed with the task that I handed it over to my husband to find our photographer and that's when we found this amazing gal. We had no doubts after our video call consult with Megan that she was the perfect person to shoot our engagement and wedding photos. Let me tell you - you will NOT be disappointed if you choose her to shoot your engagement or wedding photos (or any other type of professional shots!). For our engagement photos, we all endured the WORST weather. My hair was soaked within a few minutes of shooting and I really think I was fighting off hypothermia! It was FREEZING! I was so worried about how our photos would turn out. Megan knew I was stressing and she got our photos back to us so quickly! They turned out AMAZING. We get so many compliments on them and we still love looking at them together. For our wedding day, Megan was amazing again - no surprise. She and her second shooter showed up early to capture all our details and did a great job rounding up our crowd to get the photos we wanted. One of my favorite things (there are many!) about Megan from our wedding day was when we were about to do our first look. I started panicking. I'd been running around all morning getting last minute things settled and all of the anxiety of the day hit me like a train. Megan looked at me and said, "What are you nervous about? You're about to go be with Nick - the most comfortable place you know." My wording could be off slightly, but that was the jist and I so needed to hear that. I could literally write a short story about how amazing this woman is. Oh, AND, she got our wedding sneak peek to us less than 3 days after our wedding and apologized for taking so long (😂). She's amazing ya'll. Just ask around the area - she's known and loved by all the other best vendors. Thank you, Megan. We love you!!

Megan still captured our day beautifully. She goes above and beyond the duties of a photographer and acted as my personal coach, coordinator and friend at times that we needed her. Through the rest of wedding planning, Megan helped us organize our timeline and first look ideas. Now for wedding day - Megan was prompt as usual and honestly did the best job we could've imagined. We were running behind schedule, but you wouldn't have known if you looked at Megan! She was completely calm and assured me all would be fine, something I really needed to hear over and over. Somehow, she got every picture we wanted for the reception setup and "getting ready" pictures in the much shortened timeline. She organized group family photos with great leadership and grace, something I feared would be chaotic. We got so many comments from guests that our photographer did a fantastic job taking the group pictures and pictures of guests. She did all we asked for and made us look like models!!! We also booked a second photographer to work with Megan, because we wanted lots of pictures of the mountain views from our wedding and many of the event. Megan booked us another fantastic photographer that specialized in landscapes and we were so in love with his work too. We didn't worry about coordinating anything, Megan did it all! When we received our wedding package in the mail, we relived our special day all over again and we were so grateful for the beautiful album Megan puts together as part of the package. We cannot wait to show our family for years to come, her pictures are so special and what we dreamed they'd be. We absolutely loved having Megan as our photographer and a friend, book her immediately!!!
