Megan is the best! One of the best decisions we made for our wedding! She did our engagement shoot in RMNP a full year before our actual wedding and we loved working with her and the photos. Our wedding was a few weeks ago and she already sent over a huge sneak peek with INCREDIBLE photos. She captured the joy of the evening so perfectly. I even gave her the difficult tasks of capturing all 160 of our guests in one photo and wow did she deliver! Somehow she got all of us in one amazing shot. You can see everyone clearly and everyone is looking and smiling! Such a special shot. Can't wait to see more and will definitely plan to work with Megan again in life!

Megan is absolutely the sweetest and is wonderful at her craft! She was extremely accommodating as we had travel issues due to a major snowstorm in Colorado but she was flexible with us, thank goodness. One less thing to worry about. She was so great with our children as we were a little unprepared and kept them engaged. Thank you Megan for the amazing pictures you captured for us! We hope to have you for our wedding!

My husband and I eloped in Rocky Mountain National Park-November 2020. (This was in the midst of a pandemic and in the midst of the wildfires in Colorado). Megan was our photographer and she was absolutely amazing! She helped me with any questions/concerns I had - (non photography related). I used her recommendations for my hair and makeup and even went with the restaurant she recommended to have dinner after wedding. I can't say enough about how great she is and how super easy she is to work with. Since we were traveling from Texas I relied on her to give me feedback on a secondary location because in the weeks leading up to our wedding the park was completely closed. Luckily, the park reopened and everything worked out and it turned out beautiful! We were both amazed and sooo happy with the images we received. My only regret is not booking more time with her! I wanted more of her amazing pictures!

Megan is truly amazing with what she does. She makes you feel very comfortable and captures the most special moments. She did our engagement and wedding photos and we couldn’t have been more pleased with her work. Her pictures have gorgeous colors and she’s extremely talented- this is her passion. She has fun with you, but is very professional. It was so nice to get our engagement pictures with her- we got to know her and we were comfortable in front of her and the camera on our wedding day! Highly recommend Megan for a wedding and reception. She is laid-back in a way that makes you feel comfortable and natural while also being professional in order to catch the best lighting, background, location to make you look your best. She also puts in the work prior to the session and knows the perfect spot to capture the moment. We loved working with her and loved how the photos turned out.

Megan is an amazing photographer! My husband and I planned our wedding day in just 31 days and Megan was so wonderful to work with. We absolutely loved Megan's work and it was a fantastic surprise how our elopement pictures turned out so amazing. Megan made our little elopement very special by capturing the moments we can now cherish forever. Megan was an absolute dream to work with! We eloped in Estes Park, CO and had a sunrise shoot planned. She was so lovely and easy to be around. Megan provided enough direction to get the perfect shots, while keeping us looking natural so our personalities shined through. We ended up with hundreds of beautiful photos. The morning was perfect, and Megan captured it all magically. She was so kind and extremely attentive to what we wanted out of the shoot. Any questions we had leading up to the day were quickly and thoughtfully answered. We would recommend Megan to anyone looking for the best - because she truly is!

Megan photographed my daughter & son-in-law's wedding perfectly! Her attention to detail, amazing. The colors, brilliant. The candid shots, priceless. She captured the love, laughter, closeness, honesty, raw emotions and pure joy throughout the entire day. ALL OF IT! Megan is marvelous! Her engagement photographs were also beautiful and so personal. She made a perfect October wedding day even more perfect with her incredible creativity and eye for the perfect shot.

Megan was great! She was very accommodating especially since the weather was probably 25 degrees with 30mph winds! The pictures turned out great and she even offered for us to come back a second day since I was unable to get "my perfect shot" due to the clouds covering the mountains. Definitely recommend!

Megan was absolutely INCREDIBLE. My husband and I are not people who are very comfortable in front of a camera and she made us feel immediately at ease. She was so good at making the day flow smoothly AND got all of the important shots that we really wanted. No only was she a delight to have as a part of our day but our photos turned out even more stunning than I could have imagined. I'm not sure what magic she does with lighting but every shot was perfect. 5 was not enough stars for Megan!

My fiancé and I had our engagement photo session with Megan this past week. We live in Colorado and knew we wanted to have our session in the mountains. Boy did Megan know the perfect spot! She made it easy to find and knew all the right angles. Megan made us feel at ease during the session - she gave directions when needed, cracked jokes to capture authentic smiles, and overall made the session so easy. It’s always refreshing to find someone who is professional and a master at their craft. The photos were edited and ready within a few days! When I saw the final product I was in tears. The photos far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend using Megan for all of your photography needs. We will continue to invest in our memories using Megan’s services.

Megan is amazing! The first time we talked she was home sick with a terrible cold and she still talked with me for an hour so she could get our true vision! Not only did she freeze her butt off in Rocky Mountain National Park to do our engagement pictures in the snow, but she also traveled all the way to Evergreen for our wedding! Megan got our engagement pictures back to us in a week and our wedding pictures back in less then 2 weeks! She captured our day perfectly, including our goofy pictures on the side! Megan is truly amazing and goes above and beyond! She makes you feel like family! We will definitely be using her in the future when we decide to start a family of our own!

We traveled into CO from out of state and met with Megan for both our engagement and wedding photos. Her pricing is reasonable and response time was very quick. We immediately felt comfortable with her, loved her artistic eye and as a result, loved our pictures! I recommend her for any event - she is a very talented photographer!

As a wedding planner and coordinator, Megan was so easy to communicate with (and I always say that communication is key to a great relationship ;-)), she was so sweet, and extremely talented! We cannot say enough amazing things about Megan and her work! From the first time we met her, we felt comfortable and at ease (a big deal since my husband HATES having his picture taken). Our engagement session was a blast, and we were blown away by the images she captured....even with our crazy 10 week old puppy in tow. Our wedding photos were even better than our engagement photos. Megan was so easy to work with, and captured our day, the location, emotions and US perfectly. She truly feels like a friend we've known for years, or a part of our family. I know we'll use her for years to come and cannot sing her praises enough.

Megan is the best! Megan was hands down our best wedding vendor and we would hire her 1000 times over. Actually, I know we will when we need family photos! Megan is not only incredibly talented with photography but she really helps keep to the time line, which helped us a ton on the day of! Her second shooter, Jenni was also amazing!! From our crazy (blizzard) engagement shoot to a month after the wedding we have loved working with and talking with Megan! We couldn’t be more in love with our photos and are so thankful!! She captured everything we wanted and so much more, and we even have a photo of almost every guest!!

Megan is fantastic! We were certain we needed two photographers for our big day, but in the end we also wanted a videographer and couldn't afford both within our budget. We asked Megan about hiring two photographers and she assured us she would be able to capture everything, in addition to referring us to a videographer who fit into our limited budget. First, our engagement photos. We wanted the perfect aspen leaves in the background but they hadn't quite turned for the only weekend we could schedule. Megan took care of that by scouting out the few patches of trees that would give the appearance we were looking for and there were so many shots that we absolutely love! When we got our photos back from our wedding day, there were points during the ceremony that I think Megan duplicated herself to get every angle. My fiance and I were both uncomfortable in front of the camera and Megan was able to get us to relax and get plenty of authentic, candid and beautiful photos. There are so many that we love that we don't know how we will choose what to frame or include in our photo albums. Megan has a great approach to weddings, she provides just enough feedback to help you take the perfect photos while also staying in the background to allow you to enjoy each moment of your special day. I would highly recommend working with Megan.

We chose Megan Simpson Photography for our wedding and could not be happier with our photos and decision! We met with Megan early in our engagement and talked through what we envisioned for our wedding. She instantly was enthusiastic about our vision and felt like the perfect fit for our special day. We took engagement photos and knew we made the right choice!! They were perfect and showed who we were as a couple as well as how happy we were that we were getting married. Leading up to the wedding, we had planning meetings with Megan talking through the timelines and making sure we had everything we wanted on the schedule and that the schedule would work for Megan, and our second photographer, Jenny. By the time the day rolled around, both Megan and Jenny jumped into our days and took photos without feeling like paparazzi! They caught simple moments between bridesmaids and groomsmen, flower girls getting lost going down the aisle, and guests having fun at our event. During our more staged photos, they easily guided the wedding party and families into poses that made sense and didn’t feel awkward. After our event, we received a couple of teaser photos, then our final gallery! We have unlimited access to our photos and can share them with friends and family so that they can download their own photos. We really enjoyed this experience and cannot wait to use Megan again for future family events!

We loved working with Megan! She was very easy to work with! She does an excellent job of communicating with her clients and figuring out what they want. We love all of our wedding photos! All of our favorite moments and details were so beautifully captured by Megan for our wedding. She has the ability to put you at ease and capture organic and candid shots that are priceless. Not only is Megan a master of photography, she has a wonderful personality which makes having Megan at your wedding that much more fun! In fact, I would say she initially won our business from her rapid response and friendly personality and that continued throughout our time with her. Megan and Jenni went above and beyond on our wedding day. Both were professional, relaxed & friendly, making us feel very comfortable 'posing' for photos. We really felt at ease and both showed endless patience. We really enjoyed the locations we went to as well; it was great to not have to scout that out ourselves. I would recommend both Megan and Jenni to anyone looking for a comfortable, natural, easygoing experience. Definitely one of the highlights of the day, and we absolutely loved having them there to share our day with us!

Megan photographed our destination wedding in Summit County, CO March 2016. We could not have asked for a better photographer. My husband and I are both from Iowa and have been taking ski vacations in CO for several years and decided it was a perfect place to get married. Since we are not from the area I just looked up wedding photographers online. Megan reached out to me from my initial email and wanted to chat to make sure our styles matched. She did an amazing job capturing our day. Our photos all looked natural and she made sure we were having fun while we were taking pictures. It was stressful to choose a photographer online with no prior experience, but I know we chose right. We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer!

Megan captured our wedding in June 2016. She was an absolute godsend from the beginning. Not only does she take amazing photos and has a very approachable price-- her personality is a total bonus! She lightened the mood when storm clouds rolled in ("It won't rain. It never rains. Those clouds are a joke, no way, not today!") and when our wedding shuttle brought guests to the wrong place- she kept us laughing and moving through the photo-ops efficiently. She was directive and efficient- both things you really NEED on your wedding day- while still being calm and positive. Our guests loved the way Megan pulled them aside for couple and family photos that were unplanned; we had so many beautiful photos of our guests that we included 4x6's of nearly each guest in their Thank You's which everyone loved. My husband and I both really love her no frills pricing- we were not able to manage an engagement session, so she credited that time towards our wedding day- this is something that other photographers will not do. Her package is competitive and flexible, in our experience she went out of her way to make it work for us in the best way possible. Megan's an absolute gem... we could not have asked for more in a wedding photographer and look forward to using her services for future events! Thank you Megan!!

There are not enough positive words to describe our experience with Megan Simpson Photography. From the moment we began working together, I knew I had chosen THE person to capture our special day. Megan is warm, kind, flexible, and extremely TALENTED. She went above-and-beyond to get incredible pictures of our wedding day-- including paving the way through a horse pasture, getting down in the ditches, and even schlepping along her ladder along the way. My husband is not much for pictures... but he instantly felt at ease and himself taking pictures for Megan. Her sense of humor, "take action" attitude, and gracious heart-- made my ENTIRE family love her instantly and they were able to have fun. I don't even know where to begin. I am beyond happy with my wedding photos by Megan Simpson Photography! They are all perfect and she has this incredible skill of capturing those special moments between people where you can look at the photo and truly feel the emotion between them. The photographers were so helpful throughout the whole wedding day and even helped me when I needed to bustle my dress. They were so kind to everyone and took pictures of everything I wanted. I was initially worried about lighting because it was a winter wedding, but they somehow made the lighting perfect in every photo and there was no shiny faces from lighting!
