About this vendor

Weddings move quickly—one moment folding into the next before you’ve had time to fully take it in. My approach is rooted in presence over performance. Instead of overly posed or staged moments, I focus on what’s naturally unfolding—so your photos feel like memories, not a production. With a balance of gentle guidance and space to just be in it, you’ll be able to actually experience your day while it’s being documented. The result is imagery that reflects not just how it looked, but how it felt to live it. Based in Iowa and available for travel.

I could not be more thrilled with our choice to use Megan Snitker Photography for our wedding photos. When looking for a wedding photographer I was looking for someone who takes b...

eautiful photos, obviously, but I was also looking for someone experienced, kind and fun! I didn't want the pressure of having to personally figure out and manage the time and details of an afternoon of wedding pictures so I needed someone who had the knowledge and experience to take care of those things without me needing to be concerned. Having that confidence in Megan allowed me to relax and enjoy the time of getting pictures taken with my husband and friends, and we had a great time doing it! It was drizzling during our portraits and wedding party photos but we didn't mind at all and Megan never missed a beat, she just kept getting great pictures! Our wedding party was full of experienced bridesmaids/groomsmen who have been through many sets of wedding pictures and they all of thought Megan was awesome. Looking back, choosing Megan Snitker Photography was absolutely the best decision we could have made and now we have beautiful photos and memories that we will treasure for a lifetime.

Megan gave us the greatest experience we could have asked for throughout our engagement session. She has been so easy to work with and had provided us with tons of information we n...

eeded before our session. Megan answered all our questions and personalized our experience to highlight what we wanted. She was so kind, creative, and encouraging during our session. Not only did we have a lot of fun shooting, but we felt incredibly comfortable with her. We chose Megan Snitker Photography after multiple recommendations from friends and family. After reviewing her work, we knew without a doubt that she was the perfect photographer for us. We love all things nature, so the natural light and beautiful scenic backgrounds displayed in her images won us over. I loved the advice we were given, the encouragement during our session, and of course, our images. THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL! Megan captured the love between us perfectly. I cannot wait for our wedding day to have the best photographer in the area capture all our special moments.
