Megan is the most genuine, kind, caring, loving, sweetest, big-hearted person I have ever met! When my husband, Tyler, proposed he had hired Megan to capture the whole thing! She was hidden with her little step stool in a parking garage across the street and was so discreet that I didn't even know she was there! During our wedding planning process, we knew two things for sure...that Megan was going to be our photographer and who our DJ was going to be. We didn't have a venue, florist, caterer, baker, or anything else picked out but those two we knew for sure! And Megan did not disappoint! I mean, we knew she was super talented and we loved her work and we loved working with her as a vendor, but we quickly realized that it is sooooo much more than that! My husband and I had NEVER taken professional photos together...I know, weird...so the day of our engagement session, I am not going to lie, I was dreading them so much! As soon as Megan showed up all of those nervous feelings went away. She allowed us to be US and captured every moment perfectly. I left that session saying how much fun that was and how we should do that more often and then before we knew it, our wedding was just around the corner! Megan even created a timeline with every shot, every moment, every detail, was specified on that timeline, to ensure that she and her second shooter did not miss one single shot...and they didn't!! The day of Megan arrives (might I add that she was early so that she could say hello and start on the details...ohhhhh her detail shots {insert heart eyes emoji} those detail shots themselves are enough to hire her) she came in as her usual cheery, all smiles, self and I can tell you that I legit got so giddy that she was there because I was already so excited to see all that she was going to capture! Throughout your wedding day, Megan is so poised and has such a calming presence that makes any of the tension in a room go away and if you are ever behind due to hair or makeup or whatever the reason may be (this WILL happen...it is inevitable) she assures you that everything is okay and will be okay. No matter what, she will still capture everything that you have asked her to! Within a day after our wedding, we received sneak peeks...and not just two or three images you guys, but like enough images to hold you over and share on social media, because let's be honest...did you really get married if you don't change your name and profile picture within 24 hours?! (kidding but you know what I mean...most of us love our social platforms). My husband and I have now been married for a month yesterday (yay!!) and we received our high-resolution images on the most beautiful online gallery, and may I add that there are well over 1000. She didn't miss a single shot, you guys! Every single image was crafted and edited to perfection...(i even had a burn scar on my hand that she so kindly edited out) they took us right back to our wedding day! Megan is still our most favorite vendor to this day and by far exceeded any and all expectations that we had of her. She is not only our photographer but now a friend! If there was a Dundie award for the best photographer, she should recieve it!

My wedding day was absolutely magical, and I owe a huge part of that to Megan. She was such a pleasure to work with, from our first initial meeting to the last photo she snapped as we left our wedding reception. Megan has a true talent for capturing the best moments of your day, and she does it all with a huge smile on her face (while also lugging around all of her equipment and her step stool!!). She is organized, friendly and thoughtful -- she takes the time to think of the most special ways to capture even the smallest parts of your day. She also makes sure the day flows smoothly and has a timeline down to the minute..SO HELPFUL!! We felt like we were working with a friend the whole time. Our pictures turned out so well, and we couldn't imagine a better photographer (or friend!!) to work with for our special day. Megan, thank you!! You are truly a gem. We are so grateful.

Megan is such a joy to work with and her pictures did not disappoint! Her style of photography perfectly reflects her personality - light & bright, pretty and sweet. We were very pleased with our engagement pictures (and have many on our walls already), and LOVE the sneak peeks from our November 17th wedding that we've seen so far - they are gorgeous!! Working with Megan on our wedding day was seriously so effortless (and my fiance' does NOT generally like pictures). Megan was everything and more than we could have ever imagined in a photographer! Not only does she take STUNNING photos, but she also helps alot with the coordination of the big day. She is extremely prompt, flexible, and for what she provides, her pricing is extremely reasonable. She has such a beautiful soul and calming personality - and everything was perfect. We have such gorgeous photos to look at for the rest of our lives and she made our engagement period and wedding day so easy and stress free!

We got married in April 2017 and our entire experience with Megan was wonderful. She is so incredibly sweet and was really easy to work with. My husband and I never had professional photos taken so we were a little nervous for our engagement pictures, but she made it so easy. By the time the wedding came, we were ready to go and we could not be happier with how our photos turned out. Megan is so talented! Every photograph from our wedding is stunning! Not to mention there are sooo many to chose from with the package we picked. Megan is very nice and always brings positive energy and a smile. Even when things were crazy, she kept a smile on her face and told me she wasn't worried about it. From the time I booked Megan to the day of our wedding I felt like my investment had grown immensely! Following her work over the past year, Megan has only gotten better and better at her craft. My only suggestion to future brides is to make sure you have a list of photos you want taken on hand on the day of so you don't forget what's important in the moment. Megan did my sisters wedding and I knew I had to have her as my photographer! She was such a joy to work with, so sweet, and completely the style I was looking for! Sometimes with photo you feel like you have to work for it and try really hard- with Megan it is effortless. My favorite thing about Megan that was very important to me was her energy. Megan is mellow-go with the flow, never looks nervous or anxious, shes comforting, and seriously the sweetest person you will ever meet. I remember only having a hour left with her and I literally had done nothing. I didn't cut the cake, garter, bouquet toss, lanterns, toasts, speeches, father daughter dance, mother son dance... nothing. She walked over to me so calm and just said I had a hour and what did I want to start with. I got all the things important to me done with her and she did it with a huge smile on her face! She could have hated me and been annoyed but she was so understanding and up beat after a long day and crazy day with me! She also is not just your photographer, it is like having a wedding planner and a best friend. I highly recommend Megan and her team!

Neither of us enjoy taking pictures, but Megan made us feel extremely comfortable and at home due to her confident, sweet, accommodating, and creative nature. Our pictures turned out beautifully and even better than I could have ever imagined! She perfectly captured all of the beautiful moments and we were lucky to have her for our wedding day as well as my portraits.

I met Megan at a bridal show in Winston about a year before our wedding. We almost missed Megan's booth because we were so tired, but I was afraid I'd miss out on that one vendor I had to have! We went down that final row of booths and came across this absolutely gorgeous, vintage, shabby-chic booth where I found Megan. From the beginning she was so sweet and genuine and I really enjoyed browsing her pictures. I had recently booked my venue at The Gardens at Gray Gables and wanted a photographer that had lots of experience outdoors. One of Megan's photo albums was at the exact venue I would be getting married at and at that moment I knew I could trust her to take our wedding day pictures! Our package included an engagement shoot and that was the first time my husband and I had been professionally photographed together. Megan tolerated my husband's goofiness and really made us feel at ease. I still "oooohhh" and "ahhhh" over the engagement session photos we had at Old Salem…even almost a year later. Our wedding was a week ago and Megan posted a few sneak peak pictures and I am admittedly obsessed with them and can't wait to see the rest. From the few pictures that I've seen so far, I feel like our wedding was a magazine feature. That is just how beautiful Megan's picture's are. It rained on our wedding day and Megan came prepared with cute, clear bubble umbrellas that made our pictures even more amazing. Aside from Megan's beautiful pictures, she is also a sweet and genuine person and we really enjoyed having her there on our wedding day. Both she and Jordan were such a blessing to have on our wedding day as they both made our day feel magical! Really just trust Megan and she will WOW you with her talents.

Megan was literally the best decision we made! She did an awesome job on our engagement pictures, my bridal photos and our wedding pictures! She knows exactly what looks good and all of my photos turned out gorgeous! She got them back to me so fast! We only had to wait about 2 1/2 weeks after our wedding! Megan is the best and her prices are unbelievably affordable for the quality of work!

Booking Megan Travis Photography for our wedding was the best idea! She was very friendly and super helpful with planning our photos throughout the day. She took all our must have shots into consideration and contributed some great artistic ideas to help capture all our memories of the day. The best part was that I didn't have to worry about anything throughout the day!

Megan is a class act! She does such a wonderful job with engagement sessions, bridal sessions, and wedding events! She always has a second photographer on site at the wedding and her prices cannot be beat! You would be crazy not to pick her for YOUR special day! Love, love , lover her to death!

Megan is amazing at what she does- we were a little bit diffiuclt when it came to pictures just because we knew some of what we wanted but werent sure about them all and megan made it happen. She met with us and talked to us about different options and helped us in any aspect we needed. She was early day of and even met us at a seperate location so that my parents and I could take pictures before the wedding because of special memories. SHe was very inventive and creative and really learned who we were as a couple so that our pictures reflected that as well. Never missed a beat- before i could request a picture she was already setting it up!! HAS AN AMAZING EYE - GUESS THATS WHY SHE TAKES PICUTES :) would hire her for anything I needed pictures for!!!

Megan was an awesome photographer. The pictures look more like awesome paintings from the wedding because she enhanced the colors. She was able to get all the pictures I wanted in a short amount of time so I could spend the reception celebrating with the guests, but she also captured candid moments. She was so friendly and made my husband, bridal party, and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera! I would use her again and again and recommend her to my friends and family.

After having quite a few things go wrong at my wedding I am so glad that Megan was there to capture the beautiful moments. I have those pictures to look back on and they are a reminder of all the love present at my wedding! She is so professional and pleasant! I would definitely recommend her for any wedding!
