Meggie is the best hype woman you could ever want by your side on your wedding day. I could not have asked for a better photographer than Meggie and her assistant Savannah. When everything was in chaos, she kept me cool and confident, was flexible, and kept it fun, sweet, and romantic. She is embodies a bright ball of energy and happiness that radiates to all around her. Her pictures captured the beautiful natural light we had during our brunch wedding and she had such an eye for special shots at our historical venue.

Meggie Taylor Photography was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. Photography was very important to us as it is to a lot of brides and grooms. After countless vendor meet ups, we started to get discouraged. After meeting Meggie, everything came together. I suddenly felt at peace. My husband who I hate to admit is always right said, "you better pick her!" Meggie is not only such a passionate and creative photographer, but she radiates positivity and makes you feel at ease in front of the camera. This was important to us because my husband can be shy. Meggie went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. Our vision was to have a bohemian glam wedding. Meggie made that all possible by meeting us in Arizona to shoot our engagements. Talk about a dream come true!!! Over the course of a year, she shot my sisters senior photos, my bridals and of course our wedding day. Meggie made sure to capture all the special moments and every little detail. Our photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined! We recommend Meggie to all our family and friends as her work speaks for itself but she is truly one of a kind.

I think Meggie may be the most cheerful, positive and passionate person on the planet. My husband and I were reticent about taking engagement photos, fearing it would be painfully awkward to be posed and have to hold kisses and grins. Our experiences with Meggie could not have been more opposite to that. Meggie was quick with kind suggestions and lots of positive reinforcement. She seemed to just instinctively know where to place us for perfect lighting and backdrops. Not only is her photography prowess evident when you work with her, she is also a flat out fun person to be around. And that’s pretty important when you spend hours of dedicated time with someone who is supposed to be capturing the love between you and your spouse as if she weren’t even there. She is truly the BEST!

Meggie is the BEST wedding photographer ever and I can't imagine a better experience! She did our engagement shoot at the beach, my boudoir shoot at my venue and our wedding day. Meggie is SO talented and such a sweet, kind person!!! Her photos are GORGEOUS and she gives so many with her sessions! She has an amazing quality of making you feel comfortable and forget that you are even posing and taking pictures! We constantly felt like we were just hanging out with a friend during our engagement session and wedding day, which helps create the best photos!! She helps direct you for poses without ever feeling awkward and everything looks very natural and authentic! Her eye for using natural light blows me away - she takes an ordinary landscape and turns it into something STUNNING! On the wedding day, she literally saved the day. My bridesmaids and I were running 30 minutes late and we had such a tight timeline I was so worried we wouldn’t make it through all of our pre-ceremony photos. As soon as I arrived, Meggie put me at ease and got to work! She caught us up back to time without ever feeling rushed or stressed. I seriously would have been a mess without her! All of our wedding guests LOVED Meggie!!! She was so nice and fun and guests complimented that she was everywhere capturing every moment, without being visible or intrusive. Meggie was everything we wanted and expected and then more! My wife found her, and so glad she did. From our first meeting she worked with us to change and make a package to fit our wants and budget. The engagement shoot was so much fun, and getting the pictures back just amazed us at her talent and made us even more excited for the wedding. Two months after the wedding, let me tell anyone looking for a photographer and getting stuff ready. The wedding day is gone in a flash. We had so much fun our wedding day, but truthfully looking back at the pictures has been just as fun. We laugh and relive the night every time we go back and look through them. I have so many great things to say about Meggie. She was the first photographer I interviewed and her energy was just infectious. I compared all the other photographers to her and not one could match her personality. I hired her right away, and it's one of the best decisions of my wedding. We quickly became friends. She lives super close to my now husband. When we would meet, it would be to hang out, and then talk a little of the wedding, not the other way around. She's one of the happiest people I know! She did my bridal shoot as well. I was really nervous about that because it was my first time doing the full makeup/hair/dress/accessories/everything! Plus I've never been one to be comfortable in front of a camera. But she made me feel so comfortable. Her energy was like sunshine and it made me relax more as the shoot went on. My parents were there helping and her enthusiasm also rubbed off on them. You can clearly see that she loves her job. She was so excited, and that got me pumped up and more ready for the upcoming wedding. I knew that with her at my side on the wedding day, I don't have to really worry. Her second shooter, Chelsea, was also fantastic, always there when you need her help. They were the dream team. On the wedding day, she and Chelsea arrived on time and immediately got to work. We had some snafus but once we got to the venue, things started rolling. The entire night was amazing. She was always there, capturing everything, but never in the way. During the family photos, we got through all the relatives/family pics in less than 15 minutes! So the guests got to enjoy cocktail hour instead of waiting. All the guests raved about her. One friend told me she was in the dance floor swaying with the guests while taking photos! They loved it! I'm so grateful for Meggie. Not only was the wedding fantastic, but we've become good friends as well. I wish we could do the wedding again just so I can work with her again. :D

Our wedding photographer had to cancel on us last minute and Meggie Burr Photography was able to step in and save the day! Meggie was wonderful to work with and very efficient at keeping us on schedule (so as not to leave our guests waiting too long). We were very pleased with our photos and LOVE having those memories captured forever!

My husband and I found Meggie on Facebook a month after we got engaged. We fell in love with her style and were very excited to be working with her!
