Owner Meghan began her journey as a wedding officiant in 2018; since then, she has helped more than 100 couples celebrate their love in serenity and style. Your wedding represents the opening of a door onto an exciting new chapter of your life. Meghan would be honored and thrilled to facilitate your journey and help you greet your future with eagerness and joy. Meghan believes that love is universal, but it manifests itself in limitless variety. Her work is a celebration of love in all its diversity and splendor. Meghan Ruiz Ceremonies crafts custom wedding and elopement ceremonies that reflect your journey and your hopes and dreams for the future. Wedding package features include an introductory meeting, an optional questionnaire, a selection of ritual options, and assistance obtaining and submitting your marriage documents. Meghan can also recommend several great locations and vendors throughout the Lake Tahoe region.

e hadn't considered before. As a part of the process she sent us approached to consider and had an easily laid out set of options to choose from as well as custom approaches. She allowed for the option for each of us to send her some of our thoughts on each other and marriage, which she used to craft the ceremony. It made it very special and exciting to head what the other said in response to her prompts. She was clear and timely with communication and next steps after the ceremony. If your anything like me (Bay Area Bride) you might be used to someone that responds to emails all throughout the day 😅 I was a little anxious because Meghan is not like that. were totally unaware of, from opening prayers, to unity rituals, how you walk down the aisle, etc. etc. Meghan lead us through everything and gave us time to consider what made the most sense for us. Our plan was to do a private ceremony in 2021 and a larger one with friends and family in 2022. We went into the smaller ceremony pretty casually, thinking we’d just do what we needed to get officially married and save the real “stuff” for next year.
