About this vendor
Hello! My approach to photography is honest and natural. I want to document every moment that went unnoticed, every laugh, kiss, tear, etc. It ends up being such a busy day and so many things are happening so fast. That's why a good photographer is extremely important.. your images are all you have to look back on. The fun part is adding my creative touch to every image and my unique approach to documenting.
I have a editorial background which allows me to incorporate that style into my work. I edit every image by hand to feel as film like and natural as possible. Minimal, soft tones inspire me but light is my absolute favorite to play with during any shoot. It us important for me to stay away from trends in editing and keep my images timeless.

Loved working with Meghan!
Meghan was such a joy to work with. She has such a great, natural eye for beauty and captured our wedding day perfectly. She has a calming presence and makes everyone feel comforta...
ble in front of the camera. Not only did we love having her as part of our day, but we also got compliments from some of our other vendors regarding the wedding day on her talent and grace. She's a true gem, and we will be recommending her to everyone we know getting married!
Meghan is incredible. She photographed both our engagement photos and our wedding day, and we could not have been happier with her work.
First of all... being in front of a came...
ra is nerve wracking, especially if you're awkward/clumsy to begin with. She made both of us feel so comfortable. We laughed. We danced around. We practically looked like models as a result.
We don't live in Kansas City, so we met with Meghan over the phone a few times before our wedding day. She was such a great communicator and really made us feel at ease for the big day. We talked through the aesthetic of our wedding. She helped us devise a plan and timeline for the big day, and then (and maybe more importantly) she helped us stick to the timeline the day-of. She also delivered the final photos to us in an incredibly timely manner.
We loved all of the detail shots, the candid shots of people dancing during the reception, and being able to see little moments with our friends and family throughout the day. They are beautiful, light and so romantic.
I cannot say enough great things about Meghan's work. I recommend Meghan Savage Photography all day, any day.
