Melandre Salon

I’ve been a long time customer of Melandre’s !! I got married down the shore and they allowed (2) of our favorite stylists to come down and prepare me and my bridal party of 15 girls and my mother !! Morgan and Casey were beyond accommodating to all my girls ! And Morgan couldn’t have styled my hair anymore perfect than it came out !! She made me calm and I couldn’t thank her more for being part of my special day !! Thank you Miriam for treating us like family and allowing my stylists to come make my day perfect !!

Loni has been cutting my hair for years, so of course I had her style my hair for my wedding! I showed her some photos of what I wanted and she planned my next few haircuts so that my hair would be the best length, style, etc. for that updo. I had my hair trial about a month before the wedding and Loni did exactly what I had asked for! It was perfect. On my wedding day, my appointment with Loni was at 9 a.m. and my hair style held perfectly throughout the after party that ended at 1 a.m.! My bridesmaids also had their hair styled at Melandre and they were all very happy with the results. Thank you to Loni and everyone else at Melandre's!

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Melandre Salon. From the minute I got engaged and shared the news with them they (specifically Morgan for cut and Laurie for color) began thinking of a cut and color plan for the 16 months that followed to ensure my hair was my desired color and length come wedding day. This included "healthy clean-up/trimming" and color (alternating between partial and full highlights and low lights with an appropriate glaze) every 6-8 weeks. All of this was timed purposely around my bridal shower, the summer, and of course wedding day. Laurie even made sure to place my highlights in exactly the right place based on the off-set part I decided to go with based on my wedding day hair trial. Speaking of, I completed my hair and makeup trials about 3 months before my wedding day. I showed Morgan a few pictures for my hair and she instantly knew what look I was going for and how to achieve it. Based on what I've seen Morgan do on other clients I wasn't surprised. She is truly one of the best there is. Similarly, I showed Natalie pictures of the makeup look I was going for and she made absolutely delivered. She is an artist and works magic. The trails reaffirmed that I was in the best possible hands for my wedding. Melandre Salon was the perfect place to get ready the morning of my wedding. The salon is laid out in such a way that allowed us to hangout and have fun drinking mimosas and eating breakfast while they worked on a few of us at a time - it was such a fun, relaxing atmosphere and the spirit of the entire staff made us feel comfortable, at ease, and even more excited than we were when we came in (I didn't think that was possible!). Their team of experienced professionals were able to handle hair and makeup for 11 total ladies with ease and in a timely manner. Everyone left feeling and looking absolutely beautiful. Our makeup lasted the entire day and night, which included pictures outside in the rain! I cannot thank Miriam and the entire staff at Melandre enough for making me feel and look my very best on the most important day of my life - they are truly the best there is!

Morgan from Melandre did my hair for my wedding, and it was absolutely beautiful! It was exactly what I wanted and looked so stunning! It lasted the entire night and I am still getting compliments on how much everyone loved my hair!! Can not say enough amazing things about Morgan and Melandre! They even had Mimosas waiting for me and my bridal party!!
