r bridal party was too big, as there were only 5 chairs in the salon. However, the staff was great at making sure everything was organized so that someone was having make-up done while someone else was having their nails done, etc. Everyone's hair was beautiful: 3 of us just got blowouts and one of the bridesmaids got a gorgeous Mad Men-esque updo, which held all night. Joe did my hair, and he was GREAT! (and very calming on what could have been such a stressful day!) My manicure lasted a solid 10 days with minimal chipping, and my pedicure still looks fantastic! Everyone's make-up was also great - nothing heavy or crazy (no airbrushing), but light and wearable. My photgrapher said that it was the perfect amount so that we looked good, and not washed-out, in photos, but still looked like ourselves! If you're getting married, definitely check out this salon - I found the overall prices to be in the same range as other salons in the area (especially since they did the hair and make-up trial FOR FREE), but it was so INTIMATE with a great atmosphere, and nothing sets the tone for a luxurious day like starting at the Peninsula!
