She gave us the jacket off of her back to make sure that our clothes wouldn't get dirty! Working with Melanie was truly an experience that we won't forget and we would do it again.

eriences. Our friend couldn’t stop raving about how good Melanie was. I decided to take a look at her work and I absolutely loved all of it; from the engagement photos to the new born pictures on her site. I loved them all! We initially met at the location of my venue about a month before. Right off the bat I felt comfortable with her. She brought her adorable son (that she had a month before… never would have guessed  ) and throughout the whole meeting she was entirely focused on me and my wedding. She was extremely organized and knew all the right questions to ask. She even helped ME put a schedule together. The day of the wedding was very nerve wrecking for me. Throughout the whole day Melanie was calm and collective and never seemed to feel the rush/panic of the day in any way! I didn’t have a list of specific pictures that I wanted to be taken, but Melanie had a list of ones she wanted to get in. She was always asking if there was something else that I wanted to do or a different position I wanted. She was very conscious of making sure we had every picture we wanted. I can’t say enough great things about Melanie and her assistant. They were extremely patient when it came to my brother in law, whom is mentally handicapped. Melanie was always able to get his attention, keep it and make sure he was always looking at and smiling for the camera. She did a phenomenal job with him! They were unbelievably patient when it came to my husband as well. He doesn’t like taking any pictures and spending the whole cocktail hour taking pictures isn’t his first choice. Both Melanie and her assistant were extremely cooperative with him. They didn’t feel his pressure but also wanted to make sure that they got all the pictures they needed. I literally can’t say enough good things about Team Melanie! I’d chose her again and again if I had to do it again. I just can’t wait to see the final product because I KNOW the pictures are going to be amazing!
