t. I can be a bit needy with response times and lots of questions and Melanie was always patient, responsive and comprehensive with her responses. We only met Melanie via FaceTime before meeting her on our actual wedding day, however she was constantly available for us and for our venue from the day we booked until the wedding day. On our wedding day, she arrived on time and immediately was able to take over with the schedule of the day. I didn't even have a chance to worry before she assured me that she was in control and would be responsible for getting us through our First Look, Family Photos, and then of course the Ceremony & Reception. She was so calm and comfortable to work with. Melanie was able to turn around our photos in just over two weeks, which is amazing considering I have heard stories of people waiting months to receive theirs. The photos are all SO stunning, we really couldn't be happier. She captured many details we wouldn't have otherwise noticed and made our wedding look like a dream. We HIGHLY recommend Melanie, you will be in amazing hands with her!

but in reality I was disappointed we wouldn’t get our moment captured better. The front desk woman gave us Melanie’s number and I called her right away. She was so enthusiastic to be able to get another session in her time there that she just offered her time and work FOR FREE. She was super flexible in getting us during her portrait session there. She made our elopement so memorable and made us enjoy this new highlight in our lives even more though the session. I am not photogenic and usually don’t know how to act in front of a camera but she made it very easy to do so because I was just interacting with my husband how I usually do and she was just there to catch those candids. Never during the session which included two locations by the way, did I feel like I needed to pose and directly look at the camera which made me so much at ease. I had never felt that comfortable with any other photographer. Even though we weren’t customers who paid, we definitely feel like we did because she edited our photos as professional as her other ones published on her Instagram and website. These are photos that will go with us during our lifetime together and are soon to be made into wedding announcements for our loved ones that they will have too. We really appreciate Melanie for helping us do that. We for sure will be hiring her for our future church wedding in California but we do thank her for her talent and time in taking such beautiful flicks that represent us as a couple and our intimate court wedding.

Melanie made our experience so fun and natural, like we were just a couple friends hanging out on the beach. We are so thankful she made us both very comfortable and good looking! tire hour so natural! Other than a great experience, she got our edited photos to us the next day when it clearly says in the contract that average time is 2-3 weeks. The pictures were amazing! If we didn't already have a wedding photographer, I would have booked Melanie!
