Melanie shot our engagement pictures and our wedding!! She was so sweet both times and DID SUCH AN AMAZING JOB! Our pictures came out better than I could've imagined with this wond...
erful ethereal look, it's unreal! She caught so many genuine moments and was not invasive at all. In fact, I almost forgot she was there lol. My only regret was not booking more time on the wedding day because we ran out of time a little before the ceremony, but she was good about keeping people on task.
From the first meeting with Melanie, I knew we had to hire her as our photographer! She understood our vision and how we wanted our wedding to be captured, and we adored her style ...
of photography. Through some COVID hurdles, Melanie and I were finally able to schedule my bridal portraits a month before the wedding. She was AMAZING to work with!! I've always felt that I don't know how to pose/look natural, but Melanie put me at ease right away. The photos turned out absolutely gorgeous, and they got me so excited for the big day!! During the bridal prep, ceremony and reception, Melanie, her husband and third shooter were always there to capture our perfect moments. Melanie was sweet enough to edit and send us a handful of the best shots from the nights a matter of days after the wedding. I loved this because I was able to share these with my friends and family immediately!! After receiving the full lot of photos, my husband and I could not be happier with Melanie and her work! We will be cherishing these memories forever :)
Melanie and her husband shot our wedding at Race and Religious early March and the photos are breath taking! We have had so many people tell us that our photographer was incredible...
after we posted the photos. She made sure to get all the shots I wanted that we discussed prior. She was so organized and really took the initiative to keep things moving and on schedule with bridals, first look, fam portraits, etc. She was great at capturing those in the moment shots too, our ceremony pics with everyone dancing are SO fun. Plus, she was very sweet to work throughout the whole process. She delivered our first gallery of about 25 photos within the next day and the full album was shared within a month. Thank you, Melanie!
Choosing Melanie as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made! Our pictures came out perfect and we absolutely love them, they are by far one of my favorite th...
ings from my wedding. From the style to the editing and aesthetic, I just loved it all! Melanie was so easy to work with and so organized, she captured all the shots we wanted and more. She made sure to get pictures of all of our guests and we are so grateful for that. My husband and I are not very natural when it comes to having our pictures taken, but Melanie is so pleasant to be around that it made us feel comfortable and at ease. She sent us a sneak peek of our pictures literally the NEXT day after our wedding. For any bride looking for an insanely talented and awesome photographer, I would without a doubt recommend Lens of Lane.

ds to go and what they should be doing down pat. She even managed to wrangle both of our families in pre-ceremony photos with the little time we gave her. She knows how to work with a timeline.
My husband and I are not the most comfortable or natural at taking pictures, and it's so true what they say that having someone there that makes you feel comfortable in your own skin is so important, and Melanie did just that.
We got our first look the next day and I was blown away. It's only been two weeks, but I still look at those photos every day. I would hire Melanie a million times over.

I’ve known Melanie for a few years & have always looked up to her so, of course, she seemed like the perfect fit! Melanie far exceeded all of my expectations & I couldn’t be happier with my decision! She is so easy to work with & always made Nico and I feel comfortable while having so much fun. ked with a tight timeline to get engagements and bridals completed before our wedding, and we had a blast during our shoot with her. Neither my husband or I feel very comfortable being photographed, but Melanie made the process fun and laid-back, and not only was the experience itself pleasant, but we ABSOLUTELY LOVE our photos! Her work is interesting, while still feeling authentic - a perfect blend. Exactly what we were looking for in a wedding photographer. I'd recommend Lens of Lane 10 times out of 10!

nd pick this gal. Seriously, the girl's got talent. I specifically reached out to her because I loved that her photos showed so much emotion, personality, warmth, and brightness. Her style just looks timeless and I know that in 20 years looking back at my wedding pictures, I would still love them! But in ADDITION, to her talent (which again, goes without saying), she is so charming and personable. Just wait until you meet her in person! Throughout the entire wedding day, she took charge and provided plenty of suggestions and also let us add in our own ideas. You will never feel awkward (which is probably so many people's fear in going into a session/wedding day). She is the type of person that can make friends with anyone on the spot, can make you laugh, and so much more. It takes a certain person to be a wedding photographer, and Melanie has the whole package! Do yourself a favor and higher this gal!! Wish I could give her a million stars!!!
All of these reviews are so true, Melanie is no joke yall! I LOVE our wedding pictures and she is the best of the best for wedding photography!

Melanie even helped us find a musician to play worship during our ceremony. I could go on and on... thank you for all that you do!

I will definitely be in touch with Lens of Lane again when I need photos taken for another occasion. :)

ive leading up to the wedding and made me feel like she definitely had everything under control. On the wedding day, she was so helpful, kind, complimentary, and got the job done with a smile on her face! She was the perfect mixture of telling us what to do while also allowing us to be ourselves and was always open to suggestions of pictures we might want. Even during my reception she helped me with my bouquet toss, money dance, and other little things when I didn't know what was going on!! I received SO many compliments about her from my bridesmaids and family about how wonderful she was and how blessed I was to have found her! Her husband, Jeremiah, that photographed with her was also so kind and down to earth and they worked so well together. My wedding day would seriously not have been the same if it wasn't for them. Hire her and you will not regret it!
