An athlete turned artist from the dry desert of west Texas with a love for traveling & documenting life's most joy-filled moments. Inspired by authentic connections & love-filled marriages. Our aim is to seamlessly capture those candid, joy-filled moments as well as giving individual attention to each intricate detail you planned for your special day. Melanie was AMAZING as our wedding photographer in Marfa this fall. She was incredibly sweet to work with and went way above and beyond at every turn. Her photos are GORGEOUS - ranging from classic portraits to very creative compositions. Everyone in my family was obsessed with Melanie and her team because they made the job seem so fun and it was so easy to pose for them. Could not recommend Melanie more!!!

Wedding photography GOALSSS!!! Melanie Julian Photography is the best in the business. Every single aspect of her work is effortlessly beautiful she is that talented but also the sweetest person in the world. The detailed creativity and perfection she puts into her work is unreal and UNMATCHED! She made all of our wedding photography dreams come freaking true from engagements, bridals, boudoir, wedding day and day after shoots every single one of them went flawlessly. The images are something we will treasure for the rest of our lives and I'm so thankful I had such a wonderful friend their to share in those moments with us. She truly made it the most stress-free day! I could go on and on about her work and how her images have such a neat style to them but truly the person behind the camera is who you need to invest in. Mel is your best cheerleader and hype woman there is. No matter the insecurities or negatives you are thinking she drowns all of that out with love and grace. Mel has a special way of turning a photo shoot into something truly joyful and candid and helps you with seeing something beautiful that you didn't believe or see in your self. Melanie has been shooting for our family for 10+ years and every time she has blown it out of the water with perfect pictures capturing all of our favorite memories. I am so thankful I had the best photographer for my wedding day, best day ever!! We love you Melanie and so thankful for your wonderful team as well, thanks for all that you did to make it all come together!

Melanie is hands down the BEST photographer in the business! She is so accommodating and did the most wonderful job of making us feel so comfortable during our pictures. Not only does she do a terrific job with all the "staged poses", but she also captures so many sweet candid moments you will be thankful to have for years to come. If you want a photographer who will make you feel like the most beautiful and special couple, do yourself a favor and book her for your big day, you will not regret it!

Melanie’s work is beautiful. She was so fun to work with and we love the way she captured our special day. We are so sad we won’t be seeing her regularly now that the wedding is over because we left every session with her so encouraged and excited about the rest of our lives! I cannot say enough good things about her, you’ll have to work with her to see!

Melanie is amazing! From the second you have your first meeting until far after your wedding is over she will be your number one fan, cheering you on throughout the entire planning process. Where do I even start?!? Melanie is absolutely amazing and so very talented! My husband and I adore her so much. I seriously cannot say enough amazing things about Melanie! She's gorgeous inside and out, the sweetest soul, and incredibly talented! Her eye for capturing stunning and timeless images is impeccable. She makes everyone feel so at ease in her presence which is crucial on your wedding day. I recommend Melanie so highly! I can't brag about Melanie enough! Her pictures are amazing, and she was so much fun to be around. Her vibe is great, which really helps when you're not super comfortable in front of a camera. She has a great eye, and you'll be obsessed with her shots.
