rfectly. From the 'getting ready' photos at our hotel on Lake Shore Drive to the family toasts & speeches at a country club all the way out in Oak Brook- she was by our side throughout the day and made us feel so special. Melanie will undoubtedly be our go to photographer for all major life events!

at ease during our engagement photo session. Melanie had creative ideas about the location of our shoot and in an hour, we had so much fun AND had pictures of us in nature, by the lake, and with the city skyline.
Our wedding day was no different! Melanie and her shooting partner, Julia, felt like old friends on our big day. Melanie gave us great insight in other shooting locations and timelines. She listened to what was important to us and made it all happen. She organized our families and wedding parties for group shots which were fun and interesting. Melanie was efficient, professional, gave clear directions, and expertly put up with our crazy groomsmen. Overall, we would HIGHLY recommend Melanie and her shooting partner, Julia. We loved them and felt like they made our wedding so special. We also love the photos -- great work Melanie!

ng as a woman who rarely likes pictures of herself Melanie truly has a gift! I was so nervous about so many things but Melanie really put me at ease, she even helped me come up with the schedule for the day of my wedding - totally not her job - but her expertise shined through. I couldn't have gotten through the day without her! Thank you, Melanie!

s been a joy to work with from the start and our engagement pictures were phenomenal. I don’t consider myself photogenic but those pictures made me feel beautiful. I am so excited to see our wedding photos. With the help of a second photographer, she wrangled a bride & groom, 9 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, parents, & 3 kids to stay on point. She was so great at coaching the group to achieve the best photos. I truly felt like I had another friend in my corner on my wedding day. Her demeanor is so wonderful and professional. I cannot express how happy we were to have her on our big day!
