I had to cancel my original wedding date due to Covid, and Melanie was always great with communication and flexible with all of my possible date changes. I ended up having a very small wedding and she really took the time to make sure each of us was comfortable and had a great experience, given that we still wanted to have a fun wedding morning while also taking precautions. She even helped to recommend a photographer last minute when I was in a replanning disaster, who ended up being amazing! I also booked Melanie for my rescheduled reception next year in June and can’t wait to work with her again- highly recommend!

Melanie was incredibly professional, efficient with time, collaborative regarding what I wanted, took pictures to make sure she could capture the look again exactly, and worked with me to ensure that I looked exactly how I wanted to look on my wedding day. On my wedding day, she and Emily arrived early, ensured everything was running smoothly and actually early, accommodated everyone's preferences, and had the best attitude (all while wearing masks!). I honestly had trouble knowing exactly how I wanted my hair to look, but Melanie and Emily created such a perfect, gorgeous look for me!! Better yet, my makeup stayed on the ENTIRE day and night, through 90 degree heat outside in the sun, outdoor ceremony & cocktail hour, dancing - it was incredible. And my veil stayed EXACTLY in place, the whole time, too, thanks to Emily. I can't recommend these ladies highly enough - my bridal party and I were so impressed and would hire the again in a second.

I got to tell ya, after looking through 100s of different artists (that is not an exaggeration either), Melanie’s site was the only one I stopped in my tracks and was like “yup, that’s who I need to contact”. I was extremely impressed with her style and her versatility. Several of my friends don’t wear makeup regularly or prefer a more natural look. Melanie can do EVERYTHING! The whole gamut, whether you’re like me and want a more dramatic makeup look or if you just want enough makeup to enhance your natural beauty. She GETS IT! I made an appointment with her to have a trial done and she was extremely easy to talk to, and understood my vision exactly! This is also when I got to meet Emily for hair. She is just as personable and gave me an amazing beehive inspired look that I loved! I knew I was in good hands! Day of the wedding, everything went smoothly! Melanie and Emily got to my hotel suite and worked their magic on the whole bridal crew! All my girls were VERY happy with their personalized looks. Annnnd I was one happy bride! I can’t tell you how amazing it felt to turn to the mirror and open your eyes feeling beautiful, confident, and ready to get married! The hair and makeup lasted the entire day without touch ups and looked great in all the photos! Melanie & Emily know their stuff, use quality products, and will definitely make you one happy client!

They were both very patient with me, and were focused on making sure I was completely happy with the final look, and their pricing was very reasonable as well. We did a trial run for my bridal shower, which was helpful (I didn't like the feel of false lashes for much more than about 4 hours). They were both very sweet and accommodating, and I would absolutely recommend them both. They also stayed ahead of schedule the day of the wedding, with 6 of us having hair and makeup done, and Emily even squeezed in a quick hairstyle for my teenage son to make sure he looked his best as well. We never felt rushed, and were able to relax and enjoy the hours leading up to the wedding. These ladies get 10 stars in my book. :)

I always felt in good hands with Melanie -- especially after my trial. She listened to my concerns regarding my skin type (a life long struggle with dry, acne-prone skin) and not only adjusted my day-of make-up to ensure I remained "looking like myself" but also personally followed-up to check in on my skin care regime and make suggestions she thought would help for day of. She also has a wonderful eye for colors that work best for each individual's skin tone, respectfully listens to your requests/concerns, and stuck to the proposed day-of timeline which made the getting-ready period of the day very calm and stress-free. I highly recommend her and can't wait to work with her again!

akeup artists out there but, what's truly special about Melanie is that she went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. We planned my trial for the same day as my bachelorette party. Melanie traveled to me on a Saturday evening, took her time and asked questions while she did the application. We took periodic breaks for me to look in the mirror to make sure that everything looked and felt right. She took notes on colors, brands, and different techniques that we liked to make sure that I would look my best on my wedding day. After the trial, Melanie followed up with me to make sure that I liked the way I looked in photos and that the makeup looked great all night long. On the day of the wedding Melanie was completely professional, on time, and fun. I had a large wedding party and a tight schedule but Melanie kept everything moving without getting frustrated or rushing through anyone's makeup. I am obsessed with my wedding pictures - as every bride hopes to be - and my absolute favorite part is that, thanks to Melanie, I look like me . I've been to countless weddings where the bride is unrecognizable, but Melanie made me the most beautiful me for my big day! I highly recommend Melanie to every bride! You will not be disappointed.
