I started Melanie Maher Events in June 2020, after having over 10 years of experience working in the event industry in both Puerto Rico and the United States. My priority is that you have a unique experience and that your needs, wishes and wedding dreams become a reality. Words cannot express how much Melanie helped me! She was always on top of things; she accepted every curve ball I through at her with such ease. She helped bring my wedding vision to life and elevated it to the next level. I got so many compliments on the wedding being the most beautiful one they’ve been to and that couldn’t have happened without Melanie! Her and husband completed every request my husband and I made on our wedding day and always made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re getting married in South Florida, definitely have Melanie as your wedding planner!!

We had a wonderful time at our wedding thanks to Melanie and her team. We hired her as our 30 day wedding planner, and she was phenomenal. Melanie has such an attention to detail and great ideas to help turn your wedding into the memorable day you imagine it to be. We met in-person to go over logistics, ideas, timing, you name it. She has so much experience, and I could really tell we were in good hands while working with her.
I consider myself to be a very diligent planner, but so many things came up that I had no way to anticipate. There were many details I would have missed had I not had Melanie. She helped me brainstorm welcome signs, fun gifts for guests, and experiences we can get for cocktail hour. She also closely worked with vendors to create a truly memorable experience. She worked with them to make sure we were on the same page and even coordinated an extra site visit to make sure the caterer and us were on the same page. She was truly above and beyond! I had dreamed of an outdoor wedding in south Florida and knew that this would mean the possibility of needing last minute weather-related changes to the itinerary. Her and the team rolled with the weather changes and helped it go without a hitch, handling the rain and sunshine like a pro.
We can't recommend Melanie and her team enough for the Walton House or Florida venue!

I am beyond grateful for Melanie and the incredible dedication, patience, and passion she poured into making our wedding an absolute dream come true. From the very beginning, she took the time to understand our vision, ensuring that every detail—big and small—was thoughtfully planned and executed to perfection.
Walking into the venue for the first time and seeing how she transformed the space was truly magical. Every element came together so beautifully, exceeding all of our expectations. The joy and emotion on Fatima’s face when she saw it all was something I will never forget.
Melanie was not only a planner but also a calming presence throughout the entire process. Her attention to detail, creativity, and ability to handle everything seamlessly allowed us to truly enjoy every moment of the celebration without stress.

Mel helped us planned our wedding from the very beginning, providing suggested vendors for dressed, suits, cakes, venues, etc. She was timely with her communication. Her excitement for our wedding matched our own, which was heartwarming to see. She was always honest with us and kept us on schedule throughout the planning process. We were introduced to Melanie after experiencing many issues finding a venue on our own. We were familiar with her amazing work with our friend's wedding in Miami and asked her for help in planning our wedding in Broward.
Melanie and her team definitely stepped up to the task. They were amazing throughout our yearlong wedding planning process. I've never been in a wedding party so she answered all my questions and listened to all my concerns about a multicultural wedding (Chinese and American). Melanie was there for me whenever my bridesmaids were unavailable. She gave us valuable advice on choosing vendors, venue, food, stationary, etc. Everyone was impressed by Melanie's timeline for the day of the wedding. On the day of the big event, Melanie and her team made sure everything ran smoothly. Our beautiful wedding day was exactly as I imagined. She brought my starry night wedding theme to life, and I've heard so many compliments and praises about our wedding being the most fun wedding anyone's been to. Thank you Melanie, we feel like we've gained a friend in addition to having the best wedding planner ever.

Melanie is absolutely amazing went above and beyond and helped make our families wedding absolutely beautiful and stress-free. She helped us with every detail and accommodated everyone’s ideas and made it happen. She was by our side every step of the way the entire day. She made sure all of our other vendors were equally prepared and on top of everything. Honestly, a beautiful person inside and out. She was very patient with all of us listened to every idea and knew exactly what we wanted and how we wanted the wedding to go and she was right on point with everything even helping the servers with the late bites to make sure everyone was getting something to munch on before leaving. And then to top it off, assisting with a sparkle sendoff for 125 people and she pulled it off like nothing less than five minutes. So to say she did a great job it’s just not enough she is absolutely fabulous and would recommend her to everyone. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Melanie did a fantastic job guiding us through all that we needed to do to prepare for our wedding day which also included taking the time to accompany us to all of our wedding appointments. She went above and beyond the day of to make our wedding day super special! We really could not have done it without her! I would highly recommend her and her team for any special event that you are planning. They really have an eye for details and take care in making sure it is extra special.

I could not have asked for a more guiding and professional person to help me get through all of my wedding events and planning. Melanie is simply the best! She answered every question I had, and even had answers to the questions I didn’t even think to ask. Melanie has the sweetest demeanor which was so refreshing given that planning a wedding is a high stress job. My day went seamlessly and any issue that occurred if any was handled discreetly by Melanie and her team. Throughout the day, I had everything I needed, including a drink in my hand at all times (which was much needed lol). Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a wedding planner, look no further! Melanie Maher Events is top notch. Melanie and her team were amazing. They were efficient, meticulous and extremely organized. Melanie went above and beyond. She listens to your needs and makes sure everything is handled. She provided recommendations and suggestions you wouldn’t even think of. She handled last minute changes like a pro. She really was the glue that held it all together. Without Melanie and her team we could not have pulled the big day off.

Melanie was phenomenal during the planning of our destination wedding! She made our wedding day go off without a hitch. From our first meeting to the final send-off, she made sure every decision reflected our vision and style. Despite our distance from the location of the wedding (Living Sculpture Sanctuary), Melanie made us feel very comfortable throughout the whole planning process.
We had a ton of changes, last-minute tweaks, surprise family requests – Melanie handled them all with a calm head and a can-do attitude. Her responsiveness during the entire process was top-notch. We never felt out of the loop or stressed, knowing she was just a quick message away.
She was very organized and had a genuine care and attention for us, our family, and our guests. Both sets of parents still talk about how wonderful she was!
Lastly, she fully brought our ideas to life despite the distance, including all the little details we were not thinking about and were easy to miss.
I cannot imagine going through the process without Melanie by our side. The day would not have been nearly as seamless and stress-free without her. Melanie, THANK YOU! Truly

Melanie is very professional and creative. She is very organized, experienced and communicative. She and her husband Noel were incredibly supportive and dedicated throughout our planning process, our wedding day transition with ease and she kept our expenses within a reasonable budget . She came up with amazing ideas on how to make things better and never said no to anything! She made our wedding look incredible amazing ! We had an elopement wedding at the beach with close friends and she made everything looks so perfect. She was a pleasure to work with and it really shows that she cares about her brides and grooms because she is willing to go above and beyond! Her style is amazing and we couldn't imagine our day without her contribution! If we could give her more than 5 stars we wouldn't hesitate.
