Krista did my makeup, my MOH, my mom and mother in laws make up. She was professional, on time and did our makeup beautifully. I never met Melanie but she was also lovely to work with. Thank you for making my family and I feel beautiful on my wedding day :)

Melanie was so nice, professional and very easy to work with! She made lots of wonderful suggestions for someone who doesn't really know makeup well! The day of the wedding, we had Krista and she was amazing! She did all of our hair and makeup and everyone looked beautiful! I have very thick hair that always looks messy and my hair held up the entire day through the pre-wedding photos outside in the wind, through the ceremony and dancing at the reception! My makeup turned out wonderful and I still felt like myself even though I don't normally wear makeup! Highly recommend!

Hired this company for my wedding hair. The stylist Michelle did an absolutely amazing job! During both my trial and on the wedding day, she understood the look I was going for and made all of us feel stunning. She made sure to listen to what we wanted, but work with all of our different hair types so that we looked amazing but still felt like ourselves. After spending the entire wedding on the dance floor, my hair still looked amazing when I got back to the room at 3 am! I never got to meet Melanie in person, but she was super helpful in coordinating between me and Michelle and answering any questions that I had about the services or contracts. Overall, they were extremely professional and I had a very positive experience working with this team!

Melanie was so efficient and proactive. As the bride she made me feel absolutely beautiful. She was great with communicating and making my wedding glam a dream!! Highly recommend !!

I just used Melanie for my 2/25/2023 winter wedding & gosh she blew me away. It’s the best feeling on your wedding day to feel like a complete princess. My hair was just absolutely perfect & my makeup was that natural glam look that I wanted and lasted all night long! I would use her 100000 times over again. Melanie and her team were AMAZING. They were super efficient and had all our girls ready ahead of schedule. My flower girl was shy about getting her hair done, and they were so incredibly patient and kind with her. She ended up feeling so comfortable and having so much fun. Everyone’s hair looked INCREDIBLE and lasted so well the entire day. I have never had a more comfortable updo in my life. It was tight and secure with plenty of running around and dancing, but wasn’t uncomfortable or heavy in the slightest. Melanie was easy to work with from day 1, and made the morning of our wedding smooth and enjoyable. A few of my bridesmaids are now planning on hiring her for their weddings as well. Melanie and her team were literally THE BEST! I’ve never felt more beautiful! Melanie is so patient, fun, and kind. Melanie's team - Morgan and Brittany did AMAZING for my wedding hair and bridesmaids hair!! With COVID in full force, Melanie worked to ensure I had a great team on my wedding day. Both Morgan and Brittany stepped in to help and they were amazing. I cannot say enough about how friendly they were and how great they were. Melanie and her team were amazing from beginning to end!!! Melanie was so accommodating during covid and changing dates / venues. It meant a lot to me, as I was extremely stressed. Communication was great and she made me feel so comfortable. Her personality is hilarious, welcoming & her skills are just as good! Every time I look back at photos of my hair and makeup I gasp, I can’t believe I looked THAT good. My hair is lifeless and thin, and holy crap she worked wonders. My makeup was flawless. Herself and her team were so kind to my girls the day of & we were all so happy with our looks!

Loved working with Melanie Rae Artistry! Communications were so easy. Krista did hair/makeup for me and two of my bridesmaids. She was very professional, on time, and did such a great job! I don't wear makeup very often but Krista made me feel so, so beautiful on my special day and I got so many compliments. My girls looked gorgeous too! The makeup was very natural but also glammed up enough to really pop. I have super fine hair but Krista gave me such adorable braids and a low messy bun that worked perfectly for my look. Highly, highly recommend!

I definitely recommend Melanie Rae Artistry and her team for wedding make up. Her artist, Jessi, did our make up and it looked absolutely incredible. She was very kind and talented during my trial and was beyond amazing on my wedding day. She was friendly, social, empathic and really heard what everyone wanted. I truly thought all my bridesmaids along with myself looked beautiful. No one looked fake or like their make up with caked on, they just looked like their facial features were elevated perfectly.

Marlo did my wedding hair and I loved how it turned out! I had done a trial with her over a year prior and she took the small tweaks I asked for and made my vision come to life. My bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law's hairstyles all turned out so beautiful! My favorite hairstyle was my maid of honor's hair that had baby's breath woven throughout it.

The team of artists came right to us, and had all 8 people plus me done in under 4 hours. Amazing hair and make up artists! I wanted a down-do for my wedding and was nervous my hair texture and length wouldn’t hold and my hair pin wouldn’t stay in BUT Melanie did an amazing job and I was complemented all night!! Melanie’s team did an amazing job on my wedding day! We had Jess and Alexis doing wedding hair for 11 people and we were all finished on time and looking beautiful! Everyone loved their hair! I did a hair trial with Jess (it was great!) and on the day of the wedding I decided to change a few small details and she went right with the flow and made my hair even more beautiful than I could have imagined! Melanie is one of a kind, truly. Not only is she an amazing person but her work is absolutely breathtaking! She made me look like an absolute princess on my wedding day and I could NOT have been happier. She’s so easy to talk to and made me feel really comfortable!! First, I will say that Melanie is very prompt, friendly, and accessible. Anytime I reached out to her, I immediately got a response back. The girl who did our hair was AMAZING. She was so sweet and our hair looked great! However, I was less then thrilled with the makeup situation. I paid extra to have an additional make up artist the day of the wedding, and I asked her if she could do my make up instead of the girl who was initially supposed to do it, but she told me no. She knew that 2 of my bridesmaids and my mom were unhappy with their makeup, and all she said that she could do was call her boss..and who knows if that even happened because as soon as she was done, she just left...knowing that people were unhappy with their makeup. In the end everything worked out and we made it work, but I was really disappointed on how things were handled, especially since the one artist left my house knowing that people were unhappy.

I found Melanie on the knot and she was super easy to deal with from the start. I had Krista do me trial as well as wedding day makeup and hair and Jess did all of my girls hair. Everyone LOVED their hair and makeup and it stayed so well for everyone with all different skin and hair types. Krista and Jess came to our hotel and set up all their stuff and made it super easy for our entire party. Melanie was great to deal with when I had any questions and made sure I was happy with everything after my trial. After searching for hair and makeup for over a year their prices were comparable to everyone else and I was very happy with my decision!

Melanie and Jessi made me feel and look my absolute best on my wedding day! (10/11/19) They were both so easy to work with and were only a text away! If I had any questions or concerns about how I wanted my hair or makeup they were so quick to help me and give me advice! At the hair trial Melanie took her time to get to know me and understand exactly what I wanted! For my makeup I wanted a boulder burgundy lip color and I met Jessi at Mac so she could test some colors on me! Melanie and her staff the day of my wedding (9/14/2019) did a FABULOUS job! Melanie was always a text/phone call away and sent over several ideas to me, since I had no idea how to wear my hair! The team arrived on time and stayed until the bridal party left to head to church to make sure all hairs were in place. Melanie Rae Artistry has done several weddings that I have attended and been in and I personally loved every ones hair and make up!

Melanie was wonderful to work with, she was very professional, and she did an amazing job on my make up and hair. My hair is difficult to work with because it is nappy and long, but she created such a pretty updo with it. She worked with me when she did my make up because after the first trial run I wasn't happy, it was a natural look and I wanted something more glam - and she made me so glam and beautiful. I loved it and didn't want to take my make up off at the end of the day! My husband thought I was beyond beautiful as well. She also made my bridesmaids look amazing and did all of their hair. Oh my goodness I cannot speak highly enough about Melanie and her team!! Although I never met Melanie personally she was so quick to communicate and coordinated a team of girls to pamper my bridal party of 9 plus me and the mothers of the bride and groom. Hayley did our makeup and brought my vision to life! The airbrush makeup didn’t budge the whole night and I got so many compliments. Marlo created a hair style that was different from my hair trial but it looked amazing and was just what I wanted. All were so patient and efficient especially when I changed my mind a million times about my look. I cannot thank them enough for making it so easy for all of us to look AMAZING!! I booked hair and make-up for my wedding in August through Melanie Rae and my party was thrilled with the outcome. The girls were punctual and made the preparation time relaxed and entertaining. Yes, Yes, and Yes! She's is WONDERFUL. Melanie did my makeup for our wedding for myself and the eight bridesmaids I have. Yes, EIGHT! Having eight bridesmaids timing wise was challenging especially because i've been in two weddings as a bridesmaid where we were very late to the ceremony. Melanie reassured me that everything would work out and YES it sure did. She did an absolutely magical job. Everyone looked flawless even after the wedding reception had ended and until the after party. She was so easy to work with and such a pleasure. You will not go wrong booking her and you can most definitely put your faith in her. She will have you feeling like a princess!

Melanie did my hair for my wedding this past June and it was amazing! She arrived on time, was really patient with me, and incorporated everything I wanted so perfectly! My mom, mother in law, and few bridesmaids also had Melanie do their hair, and they loved it as well! Everyone’s hair lasted the whole night through sweating and dancing too! As for makeup, I didn’t 100% love my trial. I’m honestly extremely picky with my makeup, considering my skin is super oily, and Asian features are a little different to work with, so I decided to go with someone else for makeup instead, but I’m soo glad I went with Melanie to do our hair!
