We had Melanie recommended to us by a few friends and after working with her, we understood way. She was extremely professional and passionate throughout the whole process. She was excited about meeting with us and made sure we discussed not only what pictures needed to be taken on the day of the wedding, but also what things we like and didn't like. My three-year-old nephew was in the wedding party and she and her assistant worked wonders with him. Not only did they take amazing photos of him, but there weren't any meltdowns during the process. Throughout the evening she would double-check the list she had made of our required photos and made sure that they got taken. We got compliments from everyone at the wedding on how much of an amazing job she and her assistant were doing. People even felt they were doing such a good job that most guest didn't take photos and waited the professional ones to come. The photos we got from her are absolutely prefect. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer to document our day.

From the moment I met Melanie, I felt so comfortable with her. We had two consultations prior to the wedding day, and I felt like she just totally understood the pictures that I wanted her to capture throughout the day. On the day of the wedding, Melanie and her assistant arrived right on time and ready to get the party started! It was wonderful to have two photographers on the scene to capture not only the bride and her girls getting ready but also the groom and his groomsmen. Melanie was able to reign in our unruly bunch, while still capturing our silliness! She was so patient with an emotional bride and crazy bridal party! Aside from the “posed” pictures, I don’t even remember seeing her in the crowd of people as she snapped away and took the most beautiful pictures. When I received my preview pictures just days after the wedding, I cried! They brought back all of the emotions I was feeling that day, and I know as I look back at the pictures throughout the years, those emotions that she captured will still remind me of the best day ever! Melanie is an incredibly talented and professional photographer. After she did an amazing job photographing my sister's wedding, I knew that I needed to book her for my own wedding! She captured every detail of our day and the photos are even better than how I would have remembered it. Melanie Reyes Photography was amazing! Not only were the pictures perfect (they were beautiful and stunning- just look at her portfolio!), but Melanie was so helpful during the planning leading up to the wedding, and on the day of our wedding she helped things to run smoothly and was awesome working with all of the family (lots of kids!) in our wedding. We're so blessed to have had her capture our wedding!

Melanie is absolutely wonderful. From our engagement session to planning our wedding to the day itself and afterwards, she was a pleasure to work with and a total professional. She has a easy going and positive attitude which is always helpful when there always has to be a little wedding stress! Yet she is tough in the sense that she can organize big, rowdy groups of families for pictures in respectful way. We had an unusual day with two ceremonies with a break in the day between them. Melanie was very accommodating and broke up our hours of photography so we weren't paying for several hours when we had "down time." She was quick to edit our photos and sent our final digital album (flash drives) in a beautiful presentation. Finally, the photos themselves are gorgeous. We did not have a lot of time in our day for photos but she managed to capture so many special moments between my husband and I, our wedding party, our families and guests. She made sure to get all my requests and way beyond. We have so many photos that we will cherish forever! Thank you so much, Melanie! I can't recommend her enough! I would give Melanie Reyes 6 stars if i could. She was by far the best vendor I hired for our wedding. Melanie is a seasoned pro, so pleasant to work with and extremely talented. She was also so quick to send us our preview images so we could get a first glimpse of our event. Her professionalism and calm demeanor really helped us to relax and enjoy our day and feel confident that we were in good hands. Also, she was great with all of our unruly nieces and nephews. When I was looking for a photographer I came across several in the area who had great portfolios but only had a few years of experience. Melanie's ability to anticipate needs really reflected her many years of experience and I was so happy that I went with someone seasoned. On top of all of that we love our photos. ;)

This was the best wedding- related decision my partner and I made! Melanie not only takes incredible photos, but she is a dream to work with. She and her assistant did an excellent job of taking photos of every member of my wedding party- including the small children. She has a very detailed eye and made excellent use of her time- taking photos of all the small details O had spent so much time preparing. Most importantly, she was very adaptable when we had a surprise rain storm during our outdoor wedding photos!

Choosing Melanie as our photographer was the best decision we made for our wedding day. I love looking at wedding albums of other photographers on social media, but I’m usually left with thoughts of, “all of these are dark” or “the people are washed out” or “no way the sky is that blue … how edited are these?” You will NOT have those thoughts with Melanie’s photographs! Her edits are simple, classic, and natural. Not only is her work product outstanding, she’s also so great to work with. She’s structured, calm, and has an eye for beautiful candid shots (my favorite!). We had a large wedding party (8 on each side), and we took pictures at multiple locations, yet she kept us right on track! I cannot emphasize enough how much I recommend Melanie Reyes Photography. She’s worth it!

Melanie has been great to work with. We are planning a wedding in June and just had the engagement photo shoot. She was so much fun and the pictures were great. Don't think twice, she is definitely the one for you.

Melanie was fantastic in all aspects of our wedding day! She is a true professional and helped to organize so many details for our wedding, and was always there for me to answer questions and ideas. Melanie is super talented, super lovely, and we feel extremely lucky that she was our photographer at our wedding. She was also kind enough to work with our budget, and went above and beyond to make sure we got great photos in an efficient amount of time. To say she was a good value is an understatement. Melanie has such an eye for composing the shot, and great ideas for posing and content so that you can just let go and relax and let her do her magic. We felt so comfortable with her and her assistant Deana, which makes for even better photos. She's the kind of photographer who will fix details of your wedding that have nothing to do with the pictures, just because she's good people. Her whistle to get babies' attention is awe-inspiring, haha, seriously. She's just the best.
