First... let me start off by extending apologies my apologies to Melanie. My florist cancelled on me a month before prior to my wedding. They recommended Melarosa, amongst a few other florist. I thought Melarosa best suited our needs. Melanie was already slammed with other events and squeezed us in. So we didnt have time for the usual formalities. Unfortunately, my nerves were a wreck and I was a bit high strung because of the initial cancelation. On our big day... I was unhinged and didn't think the arrangements were full enough... I was WRONG! The arrangements, though more simplified than I expected were GORGEOUS. I LOVED my cake decor. Melanie, you and your team did a phenomenal job. Thank you very much.

There’s no other way to put it: Melanie and the Melarosa team were lifesavers. Due to COVID, our venue was forced to make a change that totally upended our floral needs, and our original florist could not accommodate the changes. We found Melanie in the remaining few months leading up to our wedding day and she jumped into action. She quickly understood our vision and put our anxious minds at ease. She is incredibly knowledgeable and professional, and she executed our floral plan to perfection. Our chuppah was BEAUTIFUL, as were the bouquets—she even sourced certain hard-to-find/out-of-season flowers that we wanted from outside the country. Moreover, she was very understanding of our budgetary constraints and found creative ways to ensure we didn’t run over budget. Melanie and her team were instrumental in making our special day uniquely gorgeous and we couldn’t be more grateful for a terrific job well done.

Where do I even start in my review for Melanie and her team at Melarosa. WOW! She totally blew me away in what she was able to achieve on my wedding day. Her floral creations beyond exceeded anything I could have imagined. I remember seeing my wedding reception venue as the team was finalizing the design the day of the wedding and being in tears of happiness from the beautiful work Melanie and her team were able to achieve. There is nothing Melanie won't do to make sure the floral designs for your wedding are anything less than perfect and she really understood my style to a T. Melanie is professional, hard working, creative, and just an absolute joy to work with. I fully recommend Melanie - she is AMAZING!! If you want the best in the industry, hire Melarosa!

We could not be happier with Melanie and her team's work to bring our wedding vision at Oheka Castle to life, and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a true professional and artist! As a bride who had never given much thought or obsessed over florals, one meeting with Mel in the NYC flower district changed my perception completely and got me even more excited about our wedding. From the start, Mel was extremely helpful in guiding our design while ensuring we kept to the budget. She went out of her way to procure and delight us with certain details (like chinoiserie vases and specific types of orchids) that we had requested, and patiently took all of our changing preferences into consideration over multiple samples and meetings. Even prior to our wedding, I knew I could trust Mel to produce beautiful creations for my bridal shower and our rehearsal dinner. With each event (all different venues and styles) she completely delivered, and of course made our fairy tale wedding dreams come true on the best day. Thank you, Melanie!

Hiring Melanie was one of the best and easiest decisions we made during our wedding planning process. She is so great to work with -- I am no floral expert but meeting her at the flower district was so much fun, and she really took the time to understand the vibe I liked. Everything she created was absolutely spot on from the centerpieces to the bouquets, and of course the chuppah (I got SO many compliments on how beautiful it was!) I'd recommend Melanie to anyone!

Melanie transformed our raw space and created a gorgeous atmosphere. From the bouquets to boutonnieres, hanging orbs to table flowers, everything was perfect. She was flexible and easy going, and met with us in the flower district to pick what florals we liked, which helped us create the perfect wedding decor. We love Melanie!

Melanie turned our already gorgeous venue into a breathtaking serenity garden. The pergola, the tables, the bouquets, the ceremony chairs, just every single thing was beautifully done. She was so easy to work with, she met every single request and gave me exactly what I wanted. Melanie is also the sweetest lady as well! I can’t get over how perfect she made everything look.

Beyond words how fabulous the floral arrangements for our wedding turned out. Melanie is phenomenal and I don’t think our floral arrangements could have been anymore perfect without her expertise and guidance. For me the flowers and decor truly enhance your wedding and after visiting several vendors throughout NYC, I realized that I would be breaking the bank in order to create the floral vision I was planning for our wedding. Then through the recommendation of a friend, we reached out to Melanie and she completely wowed us with her ideas and worked with us to create the floral theme and design while staying within our requested budget. She was so kind and generous that I relied on her for everything and the final result was spectacular. One of our guests who is an interior designer and wedding planner even commented that she was simply wowed at the beauty of the floral arrangements and decor, it was simply gorgeous.

My wedding flowers were a dream come true! Melanie exceeded my expectations with her gorgeous arrangements. From my bouquet, to the bridesmaids’ bouquets to the table arrangements –– she turned a rustic New York City venue into a romantic fairy t ale castle. Melanie is also a joy to work with, too! She listened to my ideas and enhanced them with her creativity and she was so patient as I worked through the images in my mind. I met her at the flower market twice and she brought my vision to life right before my eyes! And she clearly has amazing relationships with all the flower vendors because everyone said hello and was more than accommodating while we built mock arrangements. Melanie will absolutely bring any space to life with her beautiful flowers and I would choose her for my wedding again in a heartbeat.

Melanie is so incredibly talented and she made my wedding at the Foundry more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. She was SO good about sticking within the budget without compromising the "look" we were going for. I wish I could give her 1000 stars in this review. stay within budget but still make everything love amazing. She exceeded our expectations. I really wish there was a way to upload photos here to show you how everything came out!

Melanie is so talented and creative. She went the extra mile and was such a pleasure to work with. I had such a hard time finding someone who was willing to work within my budget without compromising the look and feel I was going for. Working in a blank space can be pricey! Melanie was awsome, and able to guide me into florals that would help execute my vision without going overboard on cost. It very hard to come by someone honest and not overpriced in NYC. When I met Melanie I knew she was a talented, trust worthy woman who would keep my best interest in mind. I wasn't wrong! The florals on my big day were insane and most importantly the reception room looked stunning!!!!!!! I highly, highly recommend her.

3500 characters is not enough room to explain how talented Melarosa and her team are. She was able to conceptualize my ever-changing wedding vision and make my dreams into a jaw-dropping reality. Throughout the entire planning process, Melanie made herself available, jumping on phone calls, walking through Pinterest boards, and meeting me in the NYC flower market to ensure I was 100% happy with the flowers and design. And at the end of the day, I was 1000000% happy. Melanie blew my mind with the overall design and execution of my wedding flowers & decor. It was better than any Pinterest inspiration pic I ever showed her, and my guests could not get over the design: the colors, the flower choices, the ivy, the candles...EVERYTHING was perfect. Melanie and her team are true professionals and artists. She's the epitome of a partner - playing a pivotal role throughout the planning process and collaborating to make sure the end product reflects the bride / grooms vision (at their set budget!) Unlike some vendors, Melanie will make whatever budget you have work...and stretch the dollar for massive impact. I can say with 100% confidence that Melanie is one of the best florists around the NYC area...and beyond. I would hire her over and over and over again if I could. I already miss working with her - she is a gem of a person! Anyone would be lucky to have her partake in your wedding.

Choosing Melarosa was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. Melanie is an absolute artist and a complete pleasure to work with. Our initial plan for our wedding was modern with clean lines and edges. Melanie met us at the flower district and immediately started selecting pieces that would work. However, after postponing our wedding due to a death in the family, we chose to go a different way with our decor. Rather than modern, we decided to go with more traditional floral arrangements in jewel tones that would make our runners from India pop. She once again met us in the flower district. And in an instant, she brought our second vision to life. She never complained for a minute about our drastic change in vision. Rather, she happily worked to accommodate our every need and desire. She was patient, kind and so warm. When I walked into studio 450 and saw our tables, I was floored. The flowers and table arrangements far exceeded my expectation in every way. They were absolutely stunning and guests are still commenting on how beautiful our centerpieces were and how well they accented all of our Indian pieces. Not only that, our bouquets were beautiful and she helped me to add a locket to my bouquet so that I could carry my godfather close to my heart. My flower girls were in their glory with their baskets and petals. And our alter looked gorgeous flocked by two gorgeous pedestal pieces. I cannot sing Melanie’s praises enough. Her work is amazing. And her costs are very affordable!

Melanie instantly knew what I wanted to achieve when i told her i wanted local, organic, wildflowers, and they were beyond incredible! Her team did a spectacular job, thank you.
