She listened to what I wanted and didn't push her vision on me. I truly recommend her, you can tell shes got experience, which is something I appreciate, especially for day of wedding.

All of my bridesmaids turned out GORGEOUS and we couldn’t have been happier. Besides all of this, I learned a ton from her: from how to prevent oily hair and washing properly to best products and uses of mousse. She was calm and helpful when I didn’t have my hair fully dry after my shower, yet, the morning of the wedding and helped me so we stayed on schedule. She personalized each of our prep based on our hair type and length and communicated exceptionally well. As you can tell by the length of this: I cannot say enough good things about her and her team. ng as I do not tend to have the best coordination. But she was very patient and able to adapt her teaching to help me learn. In the end everyone was impressed by our first dance! Additionally, I wanted a simple/natural makeup look which Maleah achieved perfectly. My hair doesn't hold a curl well but she was able to help me prep my hair so that it held the style all night. My mom was also very happy with her hair/makeup. All around I had an amazing experience working with Maleah. She was a big factor in helping me feel confident going into my wedding day both for the first dance but also for my hair/makeup look.

Additionally, after she packed up, I realized my dupatta hadn’t been placed in my hair. Even though I had mentioned it several times before and on the wedding day, she seemed surprised when I brought it up. Overall, the quality of her work was excellent, and I’d still recommend her, but a bit more attention to detail on logistics and communication would have made the experience even better.

She has great emails with details on what to expect, and what is needed. The week of the wedding, she sent a reminder of the things that I needed to do, including how much mouse to put into my hair that morning. On the day, she arrived exactly ontime at my friends house, we looked at a few different spots to find the perfect light. She was super flexible and easy going, the best light was in the bedroom, so she spread out a towel and all her makeup on the bed. She made the time fun, and since we'd done the trial, it went quicker than I expected. She was fun, made me feel so beautiful, and my hair ended up being prettier than I thought possible.

I was SO nervous about finding someone to work on my hair. It’s extremely curly and thick and every time I’ve had my hair done for a formal event, I always end up redoing it myself, so I don’t trust just anyone to do my hair, especially because I wanted to wear my natural curls for the wedding. I felt immediately comfortable with Meleah. I truly felt like she listened and asked several questions to understand my hair type and its tendencies and my vision for my hairstyle. I cried after our trial because I loved it so much and she made it look gorgeous. I’ve never had an experience like that before with my hair. The day of the wedding it was flawless and I didn’t even give it a second thought the entire day! Her makeup style is so amazing too! I have lots of freckles I didn’t want to cover and wanted to aim for a lighter and natural foundation and she totally nailed it! 15/10 on communication, she asked questions and checked in every step of the way to make sure I was fully satisfied. My husband and I also did dance lessons with her which were so worth it! I’ve had experience with dancing, but my husband hadn’t and was very nervous. Everyone at the wedding was so excited to see him dancing so smoothly and he felt so confident! Meleah is an excellent teacher! She does it all! As far as pricing, she is really reasonable too. She is an absolute delight to work with and I’m so glad she was a part of our day!

When we met, my hair was dry and difficult to manage, and I truly didn't recall a time in which I had enjoyed wearing in naturally curly. Within that three month period, Meleah dedicated herself to finding products, techniques, and cuts to help me love and manage my hair - entirely at no additional cost to her! She accompanied me to a hair appointment conducted by another stylist and stayed for the full 2 hours to make sure that it was something we were both happy with at the end.
