We were so impressed with how quickly we were able to get through all of our group shots, allowing us more time to enjoy our day. And all the pictures turned out so beautifully! ck and forth of wanting to do a private first look or first look down the aisle. Melinda told me that by doing a first look I would get more pictures of me and my groom, and that we would still have that butterfly like feeling when we see each their walking down the aisle. The night before the wedding we talked about my new day of schedule and again about which first look I wanted. We had agreed on doing a private first look. Melinda arrived early and started taking pictures immediately. Which worked cause then I was also able to get some getting ready photos. Then as I was getting in my dress, my sisters were taking a while lacing my dress up. I was freaking out that I wasn’t going to be sticking to my schedule. Melinda reassured me that it was going to be okay it was all going to work out. As soon as my sisters were done getting me dressed it was passed the plan time for the private first look. Melinda offered that we just do a first look with my dad, and since we passed the time for the private first look she said that we would be able to do the first look. I appreciate that so much! She knew that I wanted to stay on my schedule and she knew that deep down I wanted a first look as I walked down the aisle. Throughout the wedding she was awesome! She stayed on track when it came to the group photos and we actually got them done 10 mins early! Which was nice for the bridal party to have a little break before dinner and speeches. We were going to do a golden hour shoot but that day it was a little overcast. She still was able to pull us away and take some more pictures. Her and her partner were a lot of fun to be around. A lot of my guest had left early so Melinda used this time to take some more pictures of the bridal party, and those were fun pictures. I can’t wait to see how they all turned out!

r wedding, one of the first thing we prioritized was finding the right photographer. After plenty of research, we were SO thrilled to find Melinda! From our initial consultations, to our engagement photos and our wedding day - we were comfortable and had fun working with Melinda the whole way through! During our initial consultation, my husband and I let her know we had some reservations about being in front of the camera since we had never taken professional photos before. From the first minutes of our engagement shoot Melinda made us feel completely at ease by being her kind, confident and lovely self. TWO hours after our shoot, she sent us a few amazing sneak peeks! Not long after, she sent us the rest of the engagement shoot collection. Because we loved the photos so much, we ended up using most of them in a photo guestbook for our wedding day and now can enjoy the photos and our guests notes on our coffee table! Two weeks prior to our wedding, we had our venue get shut down by the city of Seattle and reworked our entire day-of plan. Melinda was SO adaptable and supportive and helped us put our minds at ease. When it came to the day of, Melinda and her second shooter, Camille were both AMAZING! They were calm and quick on their feet when getting ready was running behind and still got us to the venue and finished will all our photos with time to spare. Their confidence and positive attitude helped keep everyone focused on being in the moment and enjoying the morning instead of being stressed about timing. Throughout the day and into the reception Melinda was all over the place capturing magic that we CANNOT WAIT to see!! That night she sent us a beautiful photo and then a few more the following day. They were all incredible and we are seriously beside ourselves with excitement waiting for the whole gallery because we know how freaking amazing she is! Melinda went above and beyond from the moment we contacted her. We enjoyed every interaction we had with her and will certainly recommend her to any friends and family looking for a photographer! Melinda, because of your hard work and dedication we will be able to cherish the memories we made on our wedding day forever. We are so grateful to have had YOU capture it all for us!
