MELISA GILDEN PHOTOGRAPHY

My husband and I both agree Melisa was one of the best investments we made in our wedding. Not only are her photos beautiful, but she is such a beautiful person inside and out. You can tell from the beginning how much she loves what she does and it translates into her photos. She was not only professional, but very friendly and sweet. She made the entire process extremely easy and knew exactly what what would look good and what wouldn't. She was even willing to travel to Disneyland with us for our engagement pictures! When I was looking for a photographer, I was looking for someone who not only had great work, but who I knew I would be able to work with, and we absolutely hit the jackpot. We love our engagement and our wedding photos and are so happy we chose Melisa to capture our big day!

We hired Melisa for our engagement and wedding photos. Melisa answered our email right away and set up a meeting with us. She was open to ideas we had and had a few of her own. She was organized and didn't pressure us. We were very happy with our engagement photos. Melisa was climbing up muddy hills and standing in waist-high weeds to get the perfect shot! I am not comfortable in front of the camera, but Melisa made me feel comfortable and the photos turned out beautifully. When it came to the actual wedding, we found Melisa to really be on top of her game. She was helpful when the photo-charm locket broke off of my bouquet, and patient with flower girl meltdowns. Melisa was professional and listened to what we wanted. It truly felt like having a friend take our photos; I could just really tell she was invested in our experience. As far as the photos, we absolutely loved them. Both the posed and candid shots have such a lovely, soft, romantic quality. Melisa also kept us updated as to when they would be ready and had them finished earlier than scheduled, which was a huge plus for me. We were very satisfied and highly recommend her!

My wedding was at Italian Heriatage Donte in Bakersfield, Ca. We meet Melisa Gilden doing a friends wedding and we got to know her and her love for photography before our big day. She set up a meeting with us and was so personal like we knew her for years, so nice and detail in her work. She began our journey with engagement photos and we enjoyed them and went from there. Our big day was a bit stressful and she gave us a schedule to help with all the vendors and putting just everyone on schedule. We loved it, her presents at the wedding was just perfect, our guest enjoyed her company and her keen eye for perfection. 2 years later now and we still love her work, we have done maternity, newborn and my sons 6month old milestone photos too, she is now apart of our family and we would recommend Melisa Gilden Photography to any new Bride!
