uper sleek bun (without looking bald - hard to do with my hair!) and she nailed it! As a repeat bridesmaid who's tried to get this look in the past, it always ended up looking like a weird hair helmet on my head, and never sleek enough, but it was a totally different story for my wedding. And - it stayed after lots and lots of dancing!

y thoughts rushing through me, Melissa was able to calm me and the entire bridal party, turning nerves into laughter and joy. Her skill and warm personality made getting ready an absolute delight,. Thanks to her talent and kindness, we felt like the most beautiful and relaxed version of ourselves on such an important day.
Melissa is THE BEST in the game in Austin and the best advice I can give to brides-to-be is: hire her! I don't typically do much to my hair and had a very specific (simple yet com...
plicated) vision for what I wanted for my wedding hairstyle so I was worried I wouldn't find someone who would execute it right, but I did. Melissa listened carefully, understood exactly what I wanted and delivered it pretty much perfectly on our trial run! She was so much fun to work with that we ended up doing a bridal photoshoot as well. Lastly, having Melissa around with my bridesmaids and family on my wedding day was a blessing and felt like being around one more of my friends (which she now is!). She made my big day so much more special by just being there but it also helps that she made us all look absolutely incredible! :)

look like a different person. Melissa listened to what I wanted and gave the perfect natural look! I typically wear very little make up, if at all, so I wasn’t sure exactly how to describe what I wanted for makeup. I did a trial with Melissa and she was patient with me as I decided what the best color/tone would be.
She also made my mermaid braid dreams a reality and created the most magical hairstyle for my wedding! I felt absolutely gorgeous and got so many compliments!
Melissa is also the sweetest person and so easy to get along with which is great when you spend your wedding morning with the person you select for HMU! Book Melissa and you will not regret it!!

o makeup artist to assist her the day of my wedding. Melissa and her partner completed makeup and hair for 8 of us the morning of my big day and EVERY girl was pleased. The weddings I have been in previously always had one or two girls who were unhappy about some component of their beauty but that was not my experience with Melissa. My aesthetic is normally no makeup just sunscreen. So i knew i needed a natural look and less glam for the big day to still look like my authentic self. MELISSA nailed it. I was so comfortable in the makeup and did not feel overdone. This is a big component of your big day and i highly suggest Melissa so you do not have to worry at all about looking your best!

I decided to change my hair after my trial, and Melissa gave me exactly what I asked for on the wedding day. I absolutely loved my glam waves and they still looked amazing in the airport the day after. I would recommend Melissa to any bride! She was amazing to work with and exceeded all expectations!

natural and highlighted the best version of me.
In addition to her talent, she is very sweet and patient. We experienced some normal (and maybe not so normal) pre-wedding chaos, but she stayed so professional and calm. I will forever be grateful that her dependability and professionalism was like a steady force that day!
Thank you again for making me feel beautiful and being a special part of our day!

mail communications which made it easy to trust her. When a second artist had a scheduling conflict at the last minute, Melissa went above and beyond to find a replacement makeup artist of the same caliber so that we didn’t have to start at 7am to be ready on time. Beyond that, her artistic skills gave me the perfect hair and makeup that I was looking for. She also did the hair of my bridesmaids and all the moms! Everyone looked and felt beautiful. You hang out with your HMU for so long about on your wedding day, so their personality matters. Melissa was sweet and a natural, calm conversationalist that was lovely to hang out with. I would recommend her to anyone!
