Where to start...
My husband and I were planning our Coronado wedding all the way from Raleigh, North Carolina. After interviewing several photographers, and not finding the right...
fit, I found Melissa's website and it was love at first sight. Her warmth and bubbly personality came through so clearly in her words. I reached out to her and we had an instant connection. Like being reunited with a long lost girlfriend. We planned everything over the phone and Skype, and I knew our wedding was in excellent hands.
The day of the wedding was so much fun. Melissa and her assistants helped keep us in great spirits and were so flexible as our planned beach wedding had to be moved due to forecasted rain. We are so in love with the images she captured of our ceremony even though it wasn't able to take place at the beach as we planned. When the skies finally cleared, she made sure we had the coveted beach shots we came all the way home to Coronado for. (That's us in the picture on the lifeguard station.)
We cannot recommend Melissa highly enough. She is the consummate professional, very cool under pressure, and produces the most remarkable images that truly capture the unique feeling of your special day.
Thank you, Melissa! We look forward to anniversary pictures when we get a chance to come back to San Diego. xo
I am at a loss for words on how to describe how AMAZING Melissa & her team are!
My wedding was beautiful BUT it was in 120 degree heat in the middle of Palm Springs! Melissa not o...
nly kept us all (8 bridesmaids & 5 groomsmen plus the bride and groom) lively and motivated to get some amazing photos! She and her husband kept us on schedule (which my wedding planner bailed the day of and without Melissa's schedule we would have been a mess!)
Not only did Melissa keep in contact throughout the months leading up to the wedding but she was so calm and understanding that any bride would feel a sense of relief when talking to Melissa!
I wish I was better at writing my true feelings down because I really LOVE Melissa and her work & I hope that comes across in this review!
PS I haven't even seen all the wedding photos (My wedding was last week) and I know without a doubt my review for Melissa will not be any different when I see her amazing photos of our special day!

r brides. We almost had to postpone our wedding due to my groom's unexpected military orders at the time but Melissa was extremely patient and flexible. She made me, the anxious bride, feel very comfortable throughout the whole planning process and answered all my questions in professional and kind manners. And my husband and I love our wedding photos! She is great. Very thankful I found her. :)
From the moment I met Melissa, I knew I had made the best decision to hire her as our wedding photographer. We sat in her living room and talked for almost 3 hours about anything a...
nd everything and it made our wedding day so much more comfortable knowing she was not only my photographer, but a new friend. From the time I first contacted her until even after our wedding, Melissa's responsiveness was amazing! The online reminders about payments and the checking-in phone calls/ emails were incredibly helpful, as I was also planning from out of state. I was so glad she shared my same vision and our wedding photos came out absolutely perfect! I have received several positive comments about them from friends and family. On our wedding day I knew she had caught a cold, but she worked just as hard through it all and even stayed longer than she needed to so she could catch every last detail! I have several friends who have just gotten engaged and will definitely be referring them to Melissa. Thank you so much!! :)

has an eye for capturing amazing moments. I couldn't be happier with the service I received and would absolutely recommend her to future brides.
