or our wedding day. The day of, we had schedule changes that she was quickly able to plan around, which allowed us to get beautiful pictures we might not have gotten otherwise. On top of that, she also appeased last minute photo requests from both of our mothers. While shooting, we felt comfortable around Melissa and loved the energy and excitement she had about the photos even though we usually feel awkward in front of the camera. Even our bridal party had a great time working with her as they all felt they could be their crazy selves. We love the way she captured our special day and we’re so happy we chose Melissa!

Leading up to the day of the wedding she helped us in making the decision to take getting ready pictures at the house we rented based on lighting (and she took amazing pictures in this location). Just browsing all of the weddings that she has done; it stunning and it speaks for itself. When I had the initial phone consultation I felt so confident that she knew exactly what I wanted. Besides being confident in her work, she is the sweetest, most professional and genuine woman. My guests (especially my mom) could not stop complementing her work ethic on that day. It rained the majority of the day and she was out in the field in the mud with a smile on her face the whole time. my Instagram feed, I knew she was the one....I hadn't even met her yet. Once we did we knew right then she would be a superstar. She captured our day beautifully with so many wistful and romantic shots. All my friends and family that have seen our pictures have fallen in love with how in love we look in all the shots. She really did a phenomenal job capturing our chemistry. There was no one else that could've done it like her! She is sweet, funny, and SO easy to work with! Melissa goes with the flow and makes things happen along the way... with a Colorado wedding in January we didn't rely on outside photos and thus did not plan for these but when the day came and it was gorgeous...Melissa sprung into action getting amazing shots of us and our group outside! Again, these are my favorites and they were made possible by Melissa going above and beyond our set plans. Her creative touch is evident in every part of the process - from the beginning questionnaire to the gorgeous photos. Our photographs are an absolute treasure and we couldn't have imagined a better photographer for us , thank you thank you!!

ost card, and a handwritten letter saying how excited she was to be working with us. THEN we had our engagement photos, had a blast with her, and were shocked at how gorgeous they were...despite the fact that the lighting that day and time was terrible for photos. She had our sneak peek photos up the very next day and then the rest were ready within the week! She stayed in contact with us before the wedding and was so incredibly organized with paper work, timelines, deadlines, phone calls, details, etc. We never had to wonder how things would go the day of the wedding and had complete peace and confidence about it all. We were just so blessed to have a photographer that eased stress instead of creating it! The day of the wedding was a complete blast...she never appeared flustered even when dealing with demanding bridesmaids and large groups of people. She was totally down when we changed plans on her last minute to drive to a different spot to take some bridal photos. She made me feel like a princess because she was constantly complimenting how I looked, how calm I was, and every detail of the day. Her second shooter hung out with the groom and groomsmen and he said they had a blast! They laughed a bunch and did some hilarious poses that we cannot wait to see! Basically our photographer ROCKED and we would recommend her to anyone and everyone! Thank you Melissa for making our day magical and capturing it so perfectly! gement session and wedding, she always made us feel comfortable and natural. This is a huge feet since my husband doesn't always enjoy taking photos! Melissa was always open to our own ideas, but also came up with amazing settings and poses for us throughout. She even drove up to Vail where our wedding would take place prior to plan out the perfect places to shoot! Then came the wedding day where she managed fitting in our extremely long family shot list plus our bride and groom photos post ceremony and all without a first look! Melissa is also very prompt with her turn around and the quality is top notch! I would absolutely recommend Melissa to anyone needing a photographer for any type of event! I am actually very sad I will no longer be communicating with her regularly! Melissa's personal touch, truly makes everything THAT much better. We cried for days looking at our beautiful photos.
