ort engagement for the current wedding culture (six months) so I sent out half-hearted emails to a few random photographers that I found, expecting to have a difficult time finding a decent one at that point. Well, all of them said they couldn't (thank goodness!!!) and my sister was like, "Dude! Call Melissa! She's awesome!" So I did, and she sent back the most enthusiastic response ever, making me feel like we were best friends right off the bat, and that was that! She was so sweet all through the months leading up to the wedding, emailing me periodically to check up on how planning was going and whatnot, just because she's awesome like that. I'm a pretty laid-back sort, so I appreciated the fact that she didn't mind my lack of decision making and went with my unorganized blabber in my emails and turned it into magic. She was so easy to work with on the wedding day when I was just kind of a floating brain spaz, and she just went with the flow and it all felt so natural and not posed or fake. I was so comfortable, and I usually squirm in front of cameras! Basically, SHE'S THE BOMB.COM. I've only seen my sneak peak photos, mind you, and I am OBSESSED. Call Melissa. The end.

autiful day for us….And that’s exactly what I got with Melissa….We held our ceremony at Marrow’s Meadows in Yorktown, IN, towards the evening time with about 30 guests….Mind you this was the HOTTEST day of the year…. Thanks to Melissa our pictures were exactly what we asked for. You captured all of our enduring moments while making us look fantastic instead of a sweaty mess. Even though we only needed you for an hour you produce so many beautiful photos that I used every single one in our wedding album. On top of that we got them with in a week. What a joy to work with someone who is easy going and a great spirit… Again Melissa, thank you for helping make our beautiful (hot) day vivid every day with the photos you captured…..
