Neither of us was particularly comfortable in front of the camera, but within the first 5 minutes of our engagement session, we were feeling comfortable and confident! Our engagement pictures were incredible, but our wedding pictures were somehow even better! Every single picture is stunning and captures us, and our wedding day, so perfectly. nd explaining her style. She quickly met with us after we contacted her and we ironed out most of the details in our first meeting. To prepare for the wedding day we got together for engagement photos. Melissa helped us decide on the Desert Botanical Garden. Melissa worked magic to make us look good while picking out some of the prettiest spots in the garden. Although those sessions can often feel awkward if you are not used to having your photo taken she made us feel comfortable, this was a preview for how great she was going to be during our big day. While our wedding day was hectic by nature, Melissa was there promptly and did not stop working until her hours were up. She kept family photos on schedule, kept us in good spirits, and took all around amazing photos from her little step stool. From candida to group shots they were all expertly done and came out great. The editing was done incredibly fast. We never once had to ask for an update and knew we were in good hands (from our previous engagement session), but also due to her constantly updating her blog and instagram we could see how hard she was working for all her couples. When the photos came through we couldn't believe how great they were! Melissa is a true talent and you're missing out if you don't choose her for your wedding day.

s excellent with her communication, is very professional, her quality of work is on point, and to top all of that, is her awesome personality. We met Melissa at the bridal show, which frankly I barely remember because it was very overwhelming. I thought I wasted my time visiting and got a headache as a bonus. Roughly a few weeks after the show, we got an email from Melissa, we were a bit skeptical, but thought, a meeting would not hurt anything, so we met at a Starbucks downtown. We came prepared with a bunch of questions for her and she was able to answer all of them. At this point we liked what we saw and set up an engagement photo shoot. Fast forward to the engagement photo shoot, we met at the Boyce Thompson arboretum and had a blast taking photos. When the pictures were done, both I and my now husband were blown away! We both hated having photos taken of us simply because we feel we don't come across great in photos. Melissa was able to capture our love, beauty and happiness in every shot. Everyone that saw our pictures, was in awe of how great the photos were. At this point we knew we had to have her shoot our wedding! For the wedding, my husband and I had the bright idea to climb some rocks and take our photos at the mogollon rim overlooking Sedona following our wedding. Melissa was not only ok with it, she loved the idea! I was afraid she would think we were crazy. The wedding photos from our ceremony, reception and our little outing came out amazing!! We love every single photo! We trusted she was going to do amazing work, but she managed to blow our socks off!! I feel like she went above and beyond what we hoped for and we are extremely grateful for that. The third time we used Melissa was just recently for our traditional ceremony. She was very open to taking out photos at the mosque, which we were very grateful for since it involved her using a headscarf while inside. We are still availing the photos, but she did show us a few sneak peaks and we are already thrilled. I would highly recommend Melissa for anyone considering photography!
