Melissa Matto has been a hairstylist in the entertainment industry for over 15 years, giving her an array of styling skills from vintage to modern. A trained Broadway hair/wig supervisor, she has worked on acclaimed shows like The Lion King, Kinky Boots, Prima Facie; starring Jodie Comer, Today Show, Tonight Show, Blacklist & Gilded Age are just to name a small few!
Melissa is ecstatic to bring her skills and talent to you! Whether you’re looking for a modern updo, half up/down, gorgeous curls or a vintage hairstyle, Melissa can make it happen with her artistic flair and expertise.
You can choose to have Melissa come to you or visit her home for a cozy and hassle-free experience. A wedding trial service is available to give you a chance to test out your look. Hairstyling for your wedding attendants can also be arranged.
Melissa also offers men's grooming services and men’s haircutting before the big day. She has done men's grooming and cuts for celebrities such as Alex Rodriquez, Brenden Urie, Billy Ray Cyrus, Conor Maynard, and more.

. I took a couple of days to think about it, but my gut feeling was "BOOK HER," and I'm so glad I followed it. Being that she has worked in TV/Film and Broadway, I knew we would get along.
Trial: I knew I wanted the bangs to be vintage-inspired, but I couldn't figure out the back. I sent a bunch of options, and Melissa helped collaborate on a look that was so perfectly me. She mashed vintage and fairytale as if it was a style she had been doing her whole life.
Day of: Melissa arrived early and set up right away. She was patient with me as I was helping set up, and then we got my hot rollers in. She then proceeded TO FLY through my bridal party's hair. I have never seen someone do such INCREDIBLE work so fast. A seriously amazing speed demon! Each of my girls wanted something different. One - a Broadway-inspired do, another - a classic French Twist, and another - wanted to be able to show off their undercut. She got these done without missing a beat and everyone looked fantastic. She got my hair up and ready, and then proceeded to do touch-ups on everyone.
My hair stayed PUT the entire day, even into the next day. I wish I never had to take it out!
I would book Melissa 1000x over and recommend her with my whole heart.
