Melissa Stimpson Photography

ted! We could not have asked for a better duo to capture our special day! From the beginning of planning up to the wedding day, Melissa made everything so easy. She is very organized, personable, and professional. On the wedding day, Melissa made my husband and I feel comfortable and at ease so that we were able to soak up every moment! Melissa has an extremely creative eye. She has the ability to capture both timeless and unique shots that will take your breath away. Her photos went above and beyond our expectations! We 1000% recommend Melissa and Bethany, you will not be disappointed!

expectations of photos. Although weddings are stressful, the one thing I didn’t stress about were photos because Melissa had it under control. Her vibe is awesome, she kept me calm and most importantly I had fun! I highly recommend Melissa for any photography needs. Her photos speak for themselves, they are stunning!! But equally as important is behind the scenes - and she is truly an amazing photographer and person! I’m so glad I found and chose Melissa for my wedding.

and our wedding photos and they are STUNNING. She has such a calming presence and knows how to capture every special moment in the most amazing ways. I typically don’t enjoy taking photos and feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Melissa helped me relax and at times she blended in with the moment to capture the best candid photos. I also appreciated her ability to direct us and tell us where to stand or how to move in order to capture the best shot. Additionally, Melissa is the sweetest person and was so flexible when we needed to reschedule our wedding due to the pandemic. She emailed us to check in and helped us get excited when we didn’t know if our wedding could happen or what it would look like if it did. She’s truly amazing and I am so grateful she captured our special day. Just as I found Melissa through my sister-in-law, I have friends who plan to use Melissa the day they get married because they loved our photos so much. Do not look any further for your wedding photographer. You will not regret hiring Melissa.

he story of our wedding day through the most beautiful photography. We had a great experience working with her for both our engagement shoot and wedding day, where she and Bethany worked so hard to get us all the shots we wanted. We couldn’t be happier with her work and will be cherishing our photos for a lifetime.

nute changes about photo locations. Melissa was so calm and helpful in doing this, which was so appreciated. The photos we got back are absolutely beautiful! She even managed to capture a double rainbow :) I would highly recommend Melissa and Bethany!

o understand the vision and priorities for your big day. It was important to us to have our same photographer for our engagement session so we could get to know them before the wedding day, and Melissa was so accommodating in traveling to NYC to have our engagement session near our home. On the day itself, Melissa and her team were right on time, got all of our preferred shots (it was a long list!) and we still had some time to ourselves before joining the party. The end photos are stunning -- consistent with her light-filled style which we love. The final photos were delivered on time as outlined -- which was so lovely to get photos to use for holiday cards. We would highly recommend Melissa for engagement and wedding photos, she and her team are talented, professional, and easy to work with! Thank you Melissa!

ot our engagement photos last fall and had the pleasure of working with them again for our wedding at Aldrich Mansion in September. Just looking at the blog online I immediately fell in love with the photography style Melissa has. We were pleasantly surprised to receive all of our wedding pictures back so quickly. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Melissa & Bethany. Nor can our friends and family. I cannot count how many compliments I have received on our pictures. Thank you both!

icient and prepared, which allowed for us both to be stress-free and to just enjoy the day. We couldn't be happier with the end result!!

he pictures were gorgeous! We were married 2 weeks ago and Melissa was absolutely wonderful! She and Bethany took pictures of all of our details and when the weather didn't quite cooperate they improvised, we didnt miss a beat and they stood out in the rain to make sure we got every picture we wanted. We felt so incredibly comfortable with Melissa taking our pictures as newlyweds and she was excellent and keeping our big wedding party organized. The teaser picture she posted the day after the wedding was absolutely magical, we cant wait to see the blog post and more.! I have highly recommended Melissa to friends and family and cannot say enough wonderful things about her and her team! Thank you Melissa! :)

photos., but once we started to receive our wedding pictures back we were beyond impressed. She was so helpful throughout the entire process. During the week leading up to my wedding she took the time to walk through the entire timeline of the day, all of my must have shot lists, and even suggested some photos that I didn't think of that are now some of my favorite pictures. On the wedding day she was extremely professional yet so fun to be around She grabbed my Husband and I at all the right times to sneak away from the reception for just a few more pictures that she felt were needed - and captured every little detail we were looking for to allow us to relive our day over and over again. We were so impressed with her work that we have already referred her to a family member and friend who will be using her next fall. We can't wait to see her again! Can't say enough great things about her work.

ural, feminine style. It was perfect for our Block Island wedding!! I’m a pretty indecisive person but she made everything so easy. She truly captured our wedding perfectly. We didn’t use a videographer but with how many amazing candids melissa and Bethany were able to capture from the ceremony through the reception, we were able to relive every detail. I received SO many compliments on my photos and at how sweet Melissa and crew were. I would highly recommend Melissa Stimpson for any occasion!

nt shoot as well.

elissa for our engagement photos and Wedding. Our photos for both came out so beautiful! She made me feel so relaxed about my wedding by scheduling the entire day to ensure we captured everything I wanted. I would defiantly recommend to anyone! We will be using her again in the future!

nt during our awkwardness at our engagement session and everything turned out great. We have many conversations before our wedding day about what we wanted, our timeline and must have photos for the day and she got our vision perfectly! The turnaround time for our photos was super-fast too!

the shots, my fiancé and I are so happy with every photo from the entire day! The photos were taken in the city after 4pm during 30’ weather but you’d never know it from the amount of natural light she was able to capture throughout the session. This makes me so excited for our wedding day photos, we absolutely LOVE Melissa Stimpson’s quality of work.

ions about our needs for the day, our timeline, our photo wishlist, and our overall expectations. Melissa is so sweet and genuine...and made sure she made our wedding dreams a reality. I still smile looking back at our wedding pictures, and even find new favorites each and every time. I LOVE every single one! Melissa, we cannot thank you enough... And to anyone looking for a wedding photographer... Melissa Stimpson is your girl!!! xoxo Amanda and Mike

re priceless and had such an elegance and beauty. I couldn't be more happy with the many pictures I have that captured the most special day in my life. The value for the quality of pictures is perfect.

she sent me a package in the mail with a cute note and a book of love quotes. I have only seen three of our wedding photos, but she included a free engagement session for us, which i highly recommend. by the time the wedding came around, we were all comfortable around each other, which made things a lot easier. her attention to detail is wonderful, and her costs are reasonable. the only negative was that the rights to the digital photos are not included in her fee, but a (worth it) add on cost. BOOK HER.

photograph our day. Her aesthetic is very classic and beautiful and all of my photos are stunning. She really exceeded my expectations. She listened to what I wanted and delivered above and beyond and I cannot wait to put together the album (our package includes three). We also had an engagement session (which was rained out but I loved the pictures anyway!) and two photographers for our wedding which was really fantastic! Another unexpected but really nice touch was toward the end of our day she set up her laptop and had a slideshow of some of the pictures up and the guests (& I!) really loved that. I really can't recommend her enough and can't wait to use her again!

s going to catch our personalites and give us something unique and I found that with Melissa! She was so professional, personable, and easy to work with. She has such an eye for detail but was also completely open to any suggestions we had. Anyone who's seen our engagement and/or wedding photos absolutely fall in love! I suggest that WHEN you book with Melissa you get a package that includes an engagement photo shoot, it really gives you the chance to connect and loosen up in front of the camera. I LOVE the idea of having 2 photographers at the Wedding you're able to capture everything of both the Bride & Groom! I will be sure to contact Melissa for my future photography needs (baby, family, etc) and will recommend her to everyone, you definitely won't be dissappointed!

she was so unobtrusive. We were also doing our wedding on a budget and Melissa's prices were excellent without compromising quality. She took all of the shots that I asked for, and found many more moments I never would have thought of. Melissa truly loves weddings and she celebrates each couples individual story with her photos. She will always be my first choice for any family photos in the future.

With Melissa I was not disappointed. Her love of photography is carried over into the images she captures. We spend 12 months planning for 12 hours of I day...we are lucky if we remember to eat, drink and breath. The imagery captured by your photograher will be your connection to one of the most memoriable day of your life. I grantee Melissa's work will serve to only make those memories even more unforgettable. I feel i love with Melissa, everyone I show her work too fall in love with Melissa. I look forward to working with her again when we extend our family.
