Melissa has been a lover of all things make up since she was a little girl. She decided to pursue her passion at the age of 18 when she attended Make Up Designory & Capri Institute. After graduating, she began her career in NYC working high end weddings and special events. She is now the owner of a Melissa Strazza Artistry LLC and based in Northern NJ. She continues to work weddings every weekend, enhancing clients natural beauty & feels there is truly nothing more gratifying than making people feel like their best self on one of the most special days of their lives!

Melissa was absolutely AMAZING!!! She did my makeup for my bridal shower. I was in love with it and got so many compliments! She worked on me around 9 am and it was still perfect by the time I went to bed. She was so sweet, professional, easy to talk to and created the exact look I wanted. I can’t recommend her enough!

Melissa is truly the best! As somebody who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup, I wanted more of a natural look. Melissa did just that, making me feel nothing short of amazing on my wedding day. She really knows how to enhance your natural beauty with a subtle amount of makeup. She even recommended products for my sensitive skin. My mom and all of my bridesmaids were obsessed with how their makeup came out and got so many compliments all night. Not only is she an incredible makeup artist, she is a gem to be around. Super sweet, professional and timely. I can’t recommend her enough!

Where do I even begin?! Not only is Melissa THE SWEETEST HUMAN but she is the MOST TALENTED MUA!! She did my makeup perfectly for the trial and the day of my wedding! She was so incredible to work with and really took her time with me. It was so easy to express my makeup preferences and questions. She even is so helpful with my general skincare/makeup questions!! I love her!!!! You will not regret booking her!!! 💜💜

Melissa was amazing for my makeup for my rehearsal dinner and welcome party! She is so sweet, lovely to chat with, and made sure I looked great before our big day! She was helpful in providing recommendations for other needs and very easy to work with. Melissa made myself and my bridesmaids feel so beautiful! Would recommend for events or weddings!

Melissa is the absolute best. We have used her for four family weddings and couldn’t imagine using anyone else. She is apart of the family! Melissa is so incredibly talented, but beyond that so incredibly kind. Our makeup never moved even on the hottest of days and everyone came up to us to say how beautiful we looked. Do yourself a favor and book Melissa for your next event!

I don’t even know where to start- Melissa is AMAZING! A true artist! Melissa knows exactly how to enhance your natural beauty without making you feel (or look) like you’re wearing a ton of makeup. We first did a trial together for my bridal shower, and we then took that look to enhance/perfect the details to my look for my wedding day! She’s so easy going and definitely made me feel at-ease. I knew I could trust her to make me, my mom, and my bridesmaids feel beautiful on my wedding day.

Melissa was the absolute best!!!
From my trial to my wedding day, Melissa made figuring out my wedding makeup look such a breeze and created exactly the look I wanted on my wedding day. I felt confident and a little glam but natural, where I still felt like I looked like myself. I didn’t once stress about how my makeup looked all day long and it lasted all night on the dance floor.
She was also such a calming presence in the bridal suite and came totally prepared, on time, and ready to go. She was so patient with me when I had to step away to talk to someone a few times during the makeup session and still absolutely nailed my makeup. I remember looking in the mirror for the first time after she was done and feeling so happy and emotional because it was exactly what I wanted and I felt so comfortable in my skin.
She also gave me some great advice during my trial and afterward to help make sure my skin was prepped and ready for my wedding day and adjusted the look based on feedback following the trial perfectly. I couldn’t recommend her more for your bridal makeup!

Melissa did my make up for my engagement photos, wedding, and most recently my baby shower. I use her over and over again because she is professional, attentive, listens to what I want, and is excellent at what she does. She has made me feel beautiful for all of my important events, and I highly recommend her for any bride who wants to feel their best on their very special day. I cannot say enough great things about her as a person or the beautiful work that she does!

Where do I begin!? Melissa is the most talented makeup artist. I was GLOWING on my wedding day thanks to her. My makeup stayed all night too it was insane. She also did my mother and mother in law and managed their needs with ease. In fact, my MIL loved her makeup so much she keeps messaging Melissa asking for her tips and tricks. Melissa is also such a great presence to have on your wedding day - so calm cool and collected. She delivers on your vision 1000000%.

Melissa was the most amazing make up artist! She did my make up for my engagement photoshoot and wedding. She was so intuitive and knew exactly the look I wanted based on what I described. She took her time but was also conscientious of my time line and the wedding schedule. The make up she did was absolute perfection and lasted well after the wedding ended! I can’t wait to use her again for any and all upcoming events!

It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for Melissa and her incredible talent. Her calming presence and kind nature are exactly what every bride needs the morning of their wedding.
Having been in dozens of weddings before my own, I thought I knew what to expect but Melissa went above and beyond. Every decision was thoughtful and intentional. Down to mixing two lipstick shades to get the *perfect* color. I truly have never felt more beautiful than I did that day.
After my trial I was obsessed with my makeup, I didn’t want to wash it off. During the trial, she took her time, addressed my concerns, and experimented so I could be absolutely positive I loved my look. The morning of my wedding, Melissa needed no reminding, no management, no double checking, she simply executed flawlessly - all while giving best friend energy to a somewhat anxious bride.
Her talent is truly unmatched and her demeanor and spirit make her the best investment you’ll make.
