Melissa is the BEST. I am a fairly plain Jane sort of lady, and Melissa made me feel like myself, only a bit more glam and bridal, on my wedding day. I spent way too much time reviewing and debating on a makeup artist. I found Melissa and it just clicked. I loved her website and editorial work she had done. She is professional, extremely communicative and just great at wedding makeup. I have the most annoyingly sensitive (and pale!) skin. Melissa had a game plan, and made the makeup work for exactly what my skin could tolerate and what would really suit my personality and vibe. Highly recommend!

Full disclosure- Melissa is one of my best friends and was in my wedding. She did mine, my bridesmaids, and my moms make-up. There was a photo taken of my mom and I and we got a comment that we looked like sisters... my mom is 60!! Melissa does such an amazing job, she is professional, she is timely, she sticks to her schedule and comes prepared. I got so many compliments of how my makeup looked beautiful and natural and not too gaudy. Everyone she did makeup for looked sooo beautiful despite a rainy day!

We had a trial makeup run and we figured out how my makeup would be for the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding was flawless, she showed me my make up and it was perfect and exactly how I wanted it to be! Melissa did an amazing job with my wedding day makeup. Communication with her was so easy. She was able to work with me so that I could do my trial makeup the same day as my engagement photos...which worked out so well! On the day of my wedding, she was such a calming presence for me. Her voice is extremely relaxing, and I really appreciated that during the chaos of the wedding day. She is both knowledgeable and professional, and I would book her again in a heart beat. Melissa was a joy to work with and did an amazing job. I wanted a really natural but youthful, fresh, and glowy look and she did a beautiful job. I still looked like myself which was important but I felt so beautiful and got so many compliments on my makeup. Plus it photographed amazing and stayed put the whole day through the August warmth, outdoor ceremony, and dancing! My bridesmaids also loved their makeup and said it was by far the best makeup they had gotten done for a wedding and I agree! Melissa was on time, got all 6 of us done with time to spare for touch ups and was super professional with great products. Highly recommend!

Mel is absolutely amazing! First of all, she's somebody you just want to be around. She's super sweet and thoughtful and a wonderful human being. Mel is also incredibly talented as a makeup artist. She showed me a couple options during the trial run, and on the day of my wedding, she knocked it out of the park! I cannot tell you how many compliments I got on my makeup. My bridesmaids were also very happy with their looks and one even said it was the best makeup she'd ever had for a wedding (she's in a lot of them lol.)

Melissa is simply fantastic! Not only is she an amazing wedding vendor to communicate with but she is insanely talented!! On top of it, she's also a pretty amazing human - super sweet and funny, yet professional. I had a loose vision for my makeup. During my makeup trial run she took my vision and enhanced it in ways I could never have thought to do myself. On our wedding day, I got so many compliments on my makeup! It can be daunting trying to find vendors for your wedding day and Melissa takes all of the worry out of the process.

From the minute I met Melissa at my trial-run I knew she was going to do an amazing job at my make-up for my wedding. Melissa takes inspiration you have for your makeup and really listens to your wants and honestly applies them in the most perfect way. As a plus, she also has a fantastic personality and sense of humor, which made me feel even more at ease in my decision. Melissa did an outstanding job for our wedding! My mom and I had a great time doing a trial run with her which made us so comfortable for the day-of. Also, for the big day she came to our home where we got ready and was all set up and ready to roll, right on time, and did nothing less than her usual perfection of work. She also was super organized and helpful for making sure that we had enough time to get all of the girls ready. I would highly recommend her!

The best ever doesn't even begin to describe Mel. I may be a little biased but i used to work with her at our corporate job. I have followed Mel's MUA journey from the beginning. Her style is light and a fantastic "no make-up" make up look. That's exactly what I wanted. We played with a little color for my trail and recommended the perfect lip color. Melissa was an absolute dream to work with! I was drawn to her work because it looked so natural and effortless. From the very beginning she was quick to reply to emails, organized and so friendly. My makeup trial was relaxed and so fun, I shared a few inspiration images, but Melissa made great suggestions and adjustments to ensure I loved my overall look. The day of the wedding, Melissa arrived promptly, completed 4 girls and myself efficiently and everyone loved their makeup. My make-up wore amazingly throughout the night, it didn’t feel heavy or start to fade. I would absolutely recommend Melissa for your wedding or event makeup needs.

She was also very flexible when we hit a snag in the planning process. Her assistant Tasha did the wedding party and was very receptive to people wanting different amounts of makeup coverage - they were all very satisfied. Melissa was a total GEM throughout the entire process! From her professionalism, quick response times and thorough and organized approach ... to the quality of her work ... to how fun and relaxed she was to have be a part of that very special morning! Melissa was willing to work with me, as I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted. At the trial, we tried air brush and a thicker lash. After a few emails (and pinterest pictures!) back and forth we decided to do a lighter touch for the day. I'm a crier, but she set the make up so beautifully that it stood the test of tears and then later on sweat on the dance floor! I couldn't recommend Melissa more. In an industry where vendors are totally hit or miss -- she is a definite HIT! book her today!!

Melissa is the most amazing human and her assistant Tina was lovely! Not only did they complete the most beautiful makeup [everyone looked stunning and each bridesmaid LOVED their look], but she also helped to save us from a complete and utter disaster when our hairstylists did NOT show up on my wedding day. We were able to cobble together several different resources to get the job done and Melissa so kindly offered herself up to help 1-2 of my bridesmaids with hair...and the result was amazing. She is a master with updos and put an otherwise frazzled bride at ease. She is kind and skillful! Consider yourself lucky if you have a chance to work with her. You won't be disappointed! She's magical!

My wedding was September 16 and it could not have been more perfect. Melissa is so talented and did a great job during my makeup trial. I told her what I was looking for and she did such a nice job! Even the trial makeup lasted all day long. On my wedding day, I asked for a little darker eye shadow and had a change in lip color, but she had no concerns and did exactly what I was looking for. It was so well done and lasted all day/night. Beyond her skill, she is the sweetest woman ever. She made me feel so comfortable and was a great communicator throughout the entire process - I never had a doubt in my mind which made the day a lot less stressful. We had a lot of fun getting to know each other! We're even Facebook friends now. I strongly recommend her!

Melissa was absolutely spectacular! I have never felt so beautiful and glamorous, everyone remarked how wonderful my makeup was not only on the day of the wedding but the trial as well. I had my trial at the end of July on a day that was sunny and 89 degrees. Melissa finished my makeup around 10:45 am and then I headed to an all-day golf tournament. My makeup held all day long and when I met friends for drinks that night they couldn't believe I had gotten done that morning. I loved my wedding day makeup even more. Melissa made a few slight adjustments after seeing the dress and floral arrangements and I could not have felt any more beautiful. She also did my bridesmaids' makeup as well as two moms, and the morning flowed effortlessly. She was so incredibly kind and thoughtful, when my four-year-old niece requested "makeup" Melissa powdered on some blush and lip gloss and my niece was ECSTATIC. Melissa was extremely easy to work with, affordable and worth every penny. I highly recommend her for your wedding makeup or any special event makeup.

Melissa provided makeup services for myself and seven other women in my bridal party for my September 23 wedding. She did an amazing job and is an incredibly talented artist. I had never had my makeup professionally done before, and my biggest concern was wanting to still look like "myself" on my wedding day. This is Melissa's philosophy, and she does an amazing job of bringing out everyone's best features, while still maintaining a natural look and not covering up what someone "really looks like" on a day-to-day basis. She really makes you look like your best self! Everyone's makeup turned out fabulous and still looked perfect at the end of the night, even after hours of photos in the rain, sweat, and dancing the night away. Melissa is organized, fun, and has great communication skills. She was so easy to work with throughout booking, scheduling the trial run, and finalizing the wedding day schedule and details. I can't recommend her services enough for weddings or any other special events you are considering.

Melissa did an amazing job for our wedding, for both me and my bridesmaids. I don't typically wear a lot of makeup, so am very picky with how it is done - and Melissa did an amazing job.
