Melissa is the most talented and kind MUA in the entire world! I wish I could have the makeup she did on my wedding for me on all the time! Not only did she capture exactly what I wanted but she made sure it stayed on all night!!!! She is truly so talented and I could not think of anyone I would have rather had do my makeup for my wedding!!! She is who you want for any big event (or literally any day you want to feel special)!!!!

Melissa is a person who I hired to do my makeup for my wedding, and she turned out to be the most important person that I had by my side on my wedding day. Makeup aside, she made me feel calm, supported, relaxed, and beautiful… before she even applied one thing. I don’t know if I would have been as present and relaxed as I was without her there. Oh, and my makeup!!!!! Perfection. I felt timeless, and clean, and like the prettiest version of myself. Also, I danced and sweated and my dress and shoes got ruined but my makeup stayed perfectly. If I could hire Melissa to be my personal makeup artist for every day glam - you bet I would be stealing her out of New Orleans and moving her to Chicago in a heartbeat. She is the sweetest human who is amazing at her job. So many people consider themselves makeup artists but very few people truly are artists. Melissa is an artist through and through. She hears you out and understands the look you’re going for. She is someone you want on your side your wedding day especially if you’re looking for that classic bridal glam look on your wedding day. She made me feel like ME however more glamorous for the big day. Every photo I took that day I looked so glamorous and stunning. I could stare at my wedding photos for days. I am so grateful for Melissa’s amazing work.

Melissa was more than wonderful! My photographer recommended her, and I’m so glad that I listened! She made me feel absolutely stunning for my bridal portraits and our wedding day! For my bridal portraits, it was raining, and my makeup stayed absolutely perfect despite the Louisiana humidity and rain. The night of our wedding, my makeup stayed from the morning all the way until after the reception ended at midnight. I got so many compliments of my makeup, and that’s all thanks to her! She is the kindest soul who truly loves her job and helping everyone feel their best. She is truly a professional on every level and she is a master makeup artist! I can’t recommended her enough!

Melissa is INCREDIBLE!! Everyone I worked with planning our wedding had the best things to say about Melissa. My bridesmaids looked stunning and we didn’t have one complaint among the group of (often critical/opinionated) girls! Everyone’s makeup held throughout the ceremony and 4 hour (sweaty) reception with no flashback in any pictures which astounded me. It’s hard to get a makeup that looks consistent in iPhone pictures, Polaroids, and professional pictures — but she did it! 12/10 recommend Melissa because she will listen to you and follow your vision to every detail. she’s worth every single penny.

Melissa did my makeup for a friends wedding, and she did an incredible job! I don’t wear much makeup on a daily basis but I wanted to get all dolled up for this special occasion. Melissa managed to make me look like the best version of myself and I was so happy with my makeup! Just as important as her work in the chair, I watched Melissa go ABOVE AND BEYOND for my friend (the bride) out of the chair. Her talent is beyond comparison. She takes away all the blemishes/ flaws and effortlessly enhances your natural beauty and best features. She can also deal with a wide range of makeup styles and successfully achieve whatever style it is that you'd want. Melissa was easy to communicate with over email during my Covid wedding, and she just needed the details as early as possible before the big day in order to create the best POA. Melissa has done my makeup for multiple weddings and it has never been anything less than spectacular. Her and her team come with all of the best products and equipment and are very careful about sanitation between each application. She takes her time on each person and makes sure that everyone looks their absolute best. When you are finished, you’ll look like the best, most awesome version of yourself. I loved my makeup applications so much I started going to Melissa for my eyebrows. I have a standing appointment to shape and tint them and I never miss. My wedding was held out of the country and Melissa wasn’t able to attend due to previous engagements. I was totally bummed but boy did she come to the rescue. Melissa did something I’m not sure other makeup artists would do... she taught me all the secrets, tips, and tricks of wedding day makeup. She sat down with me and my makeup and taught me step by step how to do my wedding day glam. She not only did this for me but also for my mom who wanted to have an idea of how she’d like her makeup to look so she could relay that to the makeup artist at our resort. When I say step by step, I mean that. She took the the time and really cared that I understood and felt comfortable with all of the information. I felt totally confident with all of the guidance from Melissa and pulled off my wedding day glam all by myself. Melissa is truly a gem in New Orleans. Highly recommend over and over again.

Melissa is a freaking superstar. She should be doing makeup for Beyoncé. She did my makeup for my engagement photos, bridal photos, rehearsal dinner, and wedding and she knocked it out of the park every single time. Even on the days she had to do my makeup early in the morning, it stayed in place until I washed it off that night. She managed to give me full glam without ever making me feel like I didn't look like myself. Several of the ladies in my wedding party had never had their makeup done before and they all loved it so much. She's also incredibly friendly and so easy to talk to. I never felt awkward in her studio and when she was in my bridal suite, everyone loved her so much. She makes an effort to get to know everybody in her chair and it is so easy to just open up to her and I honestly felt like she was just a friend doing my makeup every time. Melissa also really cares about your skin, not just the makeup she's putting on your skin. She was always very sanitary. She considered your skin type before choosing certain makeup. She chose colors that worked best with your complexion. I knew I was always getting a custom experience with her. Do yourself and your wedding party a favor and hire Melissa. She will bring out the best in everyone and you'll enjoy getting to know her in the process.

I had my wedding trial with Melissa this spring - she is a delight and so talented! She made me feel so comfortable and beautiful, even before starting my makeup. Her technique is amazing, and my makeup lasted 12 hours +. Sadly I had to postpone my wedding to November but I’m hoping she’s available this fall and will be booking her for any of my other events in New Orleans!

I cannot say enough good things about Melissa. She handles every "emergency" like the total pro she is. She is easy going, extremely responsive, and skilled. Its amazing to work with someone that is alway on time and efficient. She has a team around her that are equally incredible and it is obvious she took her time to hand pick and train each person to her standard of service. Some artists have one style they're good at, but Melissa is extremely well versed in anything I've ever asked her to do. I've never met anyone even remotely unhappy with her services. I could not have asked for a more professional and talented MUA artist on our wedding day!! I’ve been in multiple weddings and every time there is someone dissatisfied with the outcome of their look... let me tell you I had ten bridesmaids and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them felt stunning!! She had to bring two extra artists which honestly made me nervous because sometimes the extra artists are not as good, nope!! Melissa was orchestrating every look and her assistants were amazing. Some of my bridesmaids were even saying they felt prettier than they did on their own wedding day 😂 it goes without saying that I felt like Kim K myself. Melissa is amazing!!!! She did my makeup for my engagement photos and the pictures came out flawless.
