Where do I even begin with how great Melissa is at what she does?! I have followed Melissa's photography page since about 2016-ish, and there has always just been something about the photos I've seen on her page and her eye that I felt was different. As the years went by, I saw friends who were lucky enough to have her photograph their weddings and even though I never thought I would find that, I knew if I did.. Melissa would be who I wanted taking the pictures. Fast forward to 2023 and my time had actually come! I didn't even try to research any other photographer, or reach out to anyone else, because I knew I had to at least try to book with Melissa first! After reaching out to her, we set up a phone call so we could make sure our personalities seemed compatible and what was supposed to be a 10-15 minute conversation turned into more like 30-45 minutes, and there was zero doubt in either mine, or my fiancé's minds, we had found our girl!! Melissa includes a complimentary engagement session with her couples, which is such a cool add on because it gave us the chance to see her in action and get an idea of what wedding day would be like with her! Neither of us really knew what to expect, but Melissa made it SO MUCH FUN. We laughed and joked the entire time, all while she was able to capture beautiful photos that genuinely showcased our love. On wedding day, Melissa showed up early, and faced all of my chaotic family members with so much grace and professionalism. She made sure every single photo I had discussed with her was captured and made us feel so at ease the entire time. She truly makes everything feel so natural while she's working her magic so we never felt awkward or posed. Bottom line? I honestly could not recommend Melissa Wilson Photography more. I will never get over how thankful we are for her and these beautiful memories we get to look back on forever!
