Melissande String Ensembles

The music was absolutely beautiful. Everything went smoothly and professionally. She kept in contact with us before the ceremony to choose just the right music to fit our slightly out of the ordinary ceremony, as well as to confirm all the details. She went above and beyond what I would have expected with several aspects of the ceremony. I would most certainly recommend her to any bride. Absolutely wonderful!

Melissa did a beautiful job with the music for our ceremony. She was very professional and communicated well with us to determine the best music for the nontraditional ceremony. I loved the fact that the music was not overpowering during the ceremony and fit the mood perfectly. She made my wife smile.

I'm a musician myself, so I can say this was a hard load-in. I probably couldn't have come up with a worse one, really. Bike-pedestrian bridge over the Kansas River, chilly, windy day. A lot of our guests had trouble finding the place, despite maps provided. Melissa & Melissa (her violinist bandmate) found the place in plenty of time. And she'd done her homework ahead of time, asking thoughtful questions regarding repertoire and dress. They performed flawlessly despite appalling acoustics and terrible conditions (I wouldn't have wanted to play my own wedding). They might have been the most seamless part of the whole affair, actually (far superior to the DJ or caterer, that's for sure).

We adored Melissa in the cello and violin duo. The music was fabulous and set the tone for our ceremony! We absolutely loved our music and would highly recommend Melissa. She was on time, flexible and professional.
