They have a combined 15 years of experience in professional photography, and they'd be honored to be part of your special day. John and Mary specialize in photographing Orthodox Christian weddings and events. Their knowledge of the services makes them especially qualified to capture all the most important moments. However, they have lots of experience in documenting other kinds of weddings, too, and would be delighted to chat with you about the details of your own event. Mellas Media is based in the Buffalo area of Western New York, but they're willing to travel. hotos, they helped us choose a beautiful location and took some great photos in spite of unexpectedly foggy and windy conditions (gotta love the Bay Area). Leading up to the wedding day, they helped us plan out our shot list and worked on our schedule with us, helping us to think of good photo opportunities around what we already had planned. They also are experienced with Orthodox Christian wedding services, so they knew all of the important moments to capture. They were professional, artistic, and a joy to work with.

ll in a timely manner. For the engagement shoot and wedding portraits, they are very good at putting you at ease while they pose you for beautiful and natural-looking shots. They are especially skilled at photographing Orthodox weddings, which most American photographers are not familiar with - back in the day, my parents had to go back and stage the most important part of their wedding afterwards, since their photographer missed it! No such worries with the Mellases. We highly recommend them! Thank you John and Mary!
