We hired Melo Photo + Video for our October 2025 wedding in Wimberly, TX. I want to start off by saying that we got a call the afternoon before our wedding that the videographer had an emergency and was unable to make our event. They tried everything to find a replacement with no luck. Of course I was devastated and trying to find someone on a Friday afternoon in a small town seemed impossible! Lucky for us the heavens opened up in our favor and we found a new videographer within a few hours (different company). So 1 star for this. But I had to rate at 5 stars because the photographers that we had were amazing!! Diego was the lead photographer and Julio was the assistant photographer. These guys (including our videographer) worked amazing as a team to capture every moment!! You really would have thought they had been working together for years, but they had actually just met right before our ceremony. I loved Diego's fun personality! When he arrived I was a nervous wreck and called him Daniel. He tells me 'my name is actually Diego but you can call me whatever you want.' He had a way of helping me feel calm when I was nowhere from feeling that. After the ceremony, Diego got my husband and I some food and drinks while we took some time to decompress and savor the emotional high of the wedding. He did a great job in coaching us for certain poses and shots. I absolutely love my wedding pictures!
We had a great experience working with byDesign. Leading up to our wedding, they reached out to us about what we would want included in our film. Then day-of, they were very easy to work with and captured all the important moments of our wedding without it feeling like they were on top of us.
Afterward, they were in regular communication with us about our videos. While it took a little longer than we would have liked to get the videos back, we LOVED the way they came out. And we had some minor editing requests, which they readily implemented. Would definitely recommend working with their team.
