Both of our photographers were amazing and went above and beyond to make our day special. It was incredibly hot and an outdoor wedding and they made it seem effortless and special. They took charge and coordinated everything and overcame challenges that popped up due to the weather. I would highly recommend Melo Photo. They were absolutely amazing.
We used byDesign for our September 2019 wedding and couldn't be happier with the finished projects! We got a 4.5 min highlight film and a 1 hour feature film. Both captured every single important moment we asked for, and some surprise moments as well! We worked with Cindy from the very beginning, and she is the absolute BEST! I asked a lot of questions and she was always there to answer and put my mind at ease. It was so great working with her. A few weeks after our wedding, we then started working with Kate who was just as awesome! She assured me that things were moving along and was always there to answer my questions as well. During our actual wedding day, we had two cameramen- Devin and Mark. They were so fun and easy to work with- we really enjoyed them as well! I want to remind people that byDesign is a large company that is not based in Chicago... this is something I didn't realize when booking, but it didn't take away from the experience at all! They contract out local camera operators for your actual day, and then their in-house editing team and project coordinators handle the rest. Because of this I would recommend a lot of conversations with your project lead so they make sure to write down all of the important things you want, and get to know you so it's a little more personal. Cindy was nice enough to set up a call a few weeks before the wedding with our lead videographer Devin so we could be very clear on what we wanted. Overall, it was a fabulous experience. They work so hard and truly care about all their clients. We loved the Chicago team and can't wait to look back on these amazing videos for the rest of our lives. Thank you, byDesign!! <3
