Roosevelt & Moses were the DREAM TEAM and absolutely killed it at our wedding! They know how to instruct and work with large groups (of all age ranges) and get them to focus in and snap the shots quick. They took their time when it comes to getting the best shot and making sure all of the lighting and angles were top notch. I will only be reaching out to Roosevelt and Moses moving forward for any photoshoots we have in the future! Not only are they amazing at what they do, but they are the kindest guys ever. The only thing that will last forever besides the memories are the pictures, so I am so grateful to Roosevelt and Moses for capturing our day perfectly!

Sherri worked with us from the moment we booked to the days before the wedding. She let us know about the process and kept us posted every step of the way. Clint was our day-of videographer. He was absolutely awesome to work with, always present and fun. Throughout the day he would show us glimpses of some of the cool shots he was taking and even arranged us for shots the photographers were not thinking to take. He arrived on time and even stayed a little past his contracted time to make sure things were finished up. Once we got our video, Cindy was there to answer the last of our questions and help us with downloading and sharing the videos. Great customer service.
The videos themselves only took 13 weeks to be completed, rather than the 16 to 20 they estimated. The videos were absolutely amazing! We got both the highlight video and the full ceremony video. So so beautiful! Just the best way to relive the day! I, and my family, could not be happier. I would highly recommend ByDesign Films!

tos. When we spoke with the photographer we picked she seemed helpful, professional and sweet. Then came to our day, she was barely on time, scattered, unorganized, unprofessional in her photos (had over 20 photos with her fingers in the photos). Was not prepared and guide us on photos. Her attitude was also off, just not making our day enjoyable, but we let it slide cause everyone has bad days... Then we did not get any sneak peaks. We then had to email the company multiple times for our photos, emailed the day before they were "due" at 8 wks and they sent us the photos. Then we noticed that there were multiple missing, important ones like the groom and father, etc. We emailed back with all of our complaints and said we had to pay for more photos. We wanted compensation for all our troubles so they gave us the rest of the photos for free. But no apologize or stating they understood why we were upset. At the end of the day we had a beautiful day, no help to this company. We got some nice photos but out of the thousands we ended up receiving they were not worth the frustration and money we spent.

I would rate -5 stars if possible. Choosing this company for my wedding photos was the biggest mistake I ever made.
My wedding was in October 2023. My husband and I contacted them...
back in January/February of 2023. We did a zoom call with a woman named Sage and she instilled a lot of confidence in the company. She sold us on them and we choose their company for our wedding. We then chose the photographer we wanted based off of the selection of portfolios. We put a deposit down and everything. We had our wedding date originally set for June 2024. However, in August 2023, we decided last minute to change the date to October 2023.
Our original photographer wasn't available that day which is totally understandable, I'm not upset about that. But I was told after contacting BDF that they had photographers available that day and they would send portfolios but we had to pay a $250 change the date fee. We paid the fee and never got sent portfolios. It took repeated emails and calls for them to finally scrape up one portfolio two weeks before the wedding. We found out they lied about having photographers available that day when we first talked about changing the date. I know changing the date made it difficult but they should have never taken our money for the change the date fee knowing they didn't actually have photographers available.
The actual wedding day comes and we find out from the photographer that BDF is actually a third party company that hires freelance photographers and only pays them a small percentage. BDF makes all the money while the actual photographer makes barely anything and the photographers aren't allowed to see or edit their photos. This was a shock because in the original zoom call, we were made to believe the photographers actually worked for the company.
After the wedding, it took them 2 months to send the photos. I knew people who got married the same day and they got their photos 2 weeks later. We had to call and email multiple times to finally get the photos.
When we did get the photos, we were very unhappy. We had the 600 photo wedding package and, I kid you not, we had like 100 photos of the same picture of cake pops we had a wedding favors. I was so mad that they sent multiple photos of the same thing and it counted towards the 600 photo limit. There were photos that I remember the photographer taking that I really wanted to see. We took photos outside in front of the church we were married in. They never sent those photos. The rest of the photos were so unflattering and poorly edited. Photos were crooked and angled badly and the editing was blurry and grainy. None of the photos looked good.
We called and emailed again about the photos. They wanted to charge us to see the rest of the photos that they decided to not send. My MIL was very pissed about this because she was the one paying for it all. She called them and managed to get them to send all the photos.
Despite having all the photos, we are still unhappy. All the photos are crooked or the angle is bad. The editing on them is washed out and grainy. I am beyond devastated by this experience. I don't have any good wedding photos and I am heart broken by it.
The company poorly communicated with us. They wouldn't respond to emails ever. We had to call multiple times and threaten reporting them to the BBB for them to even listen to us.
I would never ever recommend this company to anyone for anything. They should be out of business.

Before, during, and after my wedding everyone was extremely nice and attentive & they always respond to my emails, however, my contract stated that I'd get my film "approximately 16 weeks" from the date of our wedding. I thought, well that seems like a long time, but I get that it can take a while to edit/make changes to create a wonderful film. I am now approaching my 21st week and I don't have my film yet. It is very frustrating to have paid thousands of dollars for something and we still don't have a wedding film over 5 months after our wedding!! I realize our contract said "approximately" which is what they continue to bring up in emails, but at this point we are 5 weeks past the "approximate" deadline. They also seem to point out that "this is their busiest season" which makes me wonder if someone let our film sit on their desk in December, January & February. I usually do not leave a review on something unless it was a really good or really bad experience & I truly hope that our wedding film is sent to us soon and I hope that its absolutely amazing so that it will make up for the 5 months I've been waiting. Maybe then I can update/change my review!

Our videographer did an absolute amazing job on the wedding day it’s like he wasn’t even their, he made it seem so effortless and made it extremely easy. It felt like if he was one of our friends. The shots that they got are stunning and literally take our breath away each and every time we watch it. We went with a short film and literally was everything we would ever and imagine and more. They say that the day will be over before you know it and it is so true. Bydesign film made it so we can relive that day over and over again! I’m telling you they are a must! inful to watch, or they were movie material but entirely out of our budget. When I stumbled upon byDesign Films, I knew I had found our wedding videographer right away. Their films are authentic, beautiful, high quality, and diverse. There are many different packages to choose from to work with your budget and everyone I spoke with from day one of inquiring was kind, approachable and very easy to communicate with. I was a very particular bride, and the videographers and editors delivered actually what I wanted, down the the filter of the highlight film. It is an incredible feeling to relive the best parts of your wedding day over and over again, and thanks to byDesign Films we are able to do just that! We have watched our film many times already, and we only received it about a month ago. Within the first 10 seconds of the clip, I am already tearing up. The people at byDesign Films really knew how to tell the story of our special weekend and did an unbelievable job of capturing our Indian Wedding. The videographers byDesign hired ...
were very warm and friendly, and made us feel comfortable that they were going to capture our special weekend exactly how we wanted it. Our wedding party mentioned over and over again how impressive the production value of our videography was. The videographers knew exactly how they wanted to shoot our event, and listened to all of our ideas and incorporated what was important us.
Our byDesign coordinator, Vanessa Walden, was incredible in making sure that our video turned out exactly how we wanted it. We were stunned by how cinematic and beautiful our highlight film and full-length video were. During the entire process, she kept us in the loop, gave us a vast library of songs to choose from for our films, and most importantly, implemented any changes that we wanted to our films before we shared them with friends and family.
Could not have been happier with our decision to have byDesign shoot our wedding!

day! Among the vendors we researched and spoke with, they offered everything we were looking for for the most reasonable price. Though we never met in person until the day of the wedding, communication was so simple, easy, and quick. When we finally did meet our videographers the day of the wedding, they were very friendly and again easy to talk to and work with. They worked real well with our photographer which was so important because I know how it can be difficult when the two get in each other’s way. The videos were delivered in a timely manner and were better than we could have hoped for. Though behind the scenes it seemed like a chaotic day, the videos made it seem like everything was effortless and smooth. They captured all of the right moments and we look forward to looking back on this day years from now.

me I watch it. Michael, our videographer did an amazing job capturing the moments that meant the most to us. He did not miss a beat capturing every meaningful event! He also told Savannah our video editor which songs meant something during our wedding day and she used them to create an amazing video. When I first found byDesign Vanessa, was the first person to reach out to me. She really cared about what my vision was for our wedding video and helped make it a reality! She did a wonderful job helping me plan the time line and make sure the video was exactly what I wanted! I was blown away by byDesign and I am so grateful they created such an amazing video for my husband and I to watch over and over again through the years to come! more than a year ago at this point, to months after the wedding when the films were complete, everyone on the team was kind, responsive, helpful and professional. We cannot thank the team and especially Sherri for making this experience such an enjoyable one.
I know our asks were extensive and our expectiations were high, but the team was BEYOND patient with us.
Our hopes and expectations were fearfully high - I worried that no one would meet them. However, the film the ByDesign Films created not only meets but exceeded our expectations. I cannot put into words how thankful we are that we chose y'all to work with. The videos bring back so many amazing memories and bring tears to my eyes each time I watch them. They are absolutely beautiful. The music, the footage, the editing... its all perfect. I do not understand how the team was able to create a film that so accurately portrayed our love and our wedding day.

Hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the day we were engaged (let’s be honest... prior to that..) we wanted to have a cinematographer at our wedding....
Then we started shopping around and sadly took it out of our budget... then we happened to come across byDesign films (I may or may not have been still dreaming of our wedding video)... After a great email exchange with Zack and with only 3 months to go until our wedding, we found a way to make it work with his help. Once we confirmed, Zack put us in contact with Brittany who was SO AMAZING through the entire process. She emailed us back every time in what felt like mintues and was very communicative and helpful from day one. Fast forward to our perfect wedding day.. this amazing couple (Dakin and Laura) showed up to start filming. They never once made us feel awkward or uncomfortable, everything was so natural and FUN. The worst part about our whole experience was the anticipation waiting for our films to arrive, but even then, they came faster than expected!! Erica did our editing and took everything Laura and Dakin captured, and turned it into everything we dreamed of and more. The little details (like panning over our lost loved ones while the officiant is mentioning those we wish were here with us... or when my husband was talking about my smile in his vows and she put that over footage of me smiling while getting ready) it’s just perfect. It has been so special to be able to share with friends and family who were not able to make the trip; we can’t stop watching it and cannot wait to share with our future generations.
In short- choose byDesign, you won’t regret it!!!

The company has a graduated payment plan, requiring an initial deposit when the contract is signed and the balance due just prior to the event date. Overall, we had a great experience with each person on our byDesign Films team - they were professional, kind and great to work with.
Our project coordinator, Sherri, worked with us throughout the entire process from the time we signed our contract leading up to our big day and after our wedding until video delivery. She was fantastic to work with, always answering our questions quickly, helping us prepare and document the “must have” shots for our Wedding and then guiding us through the video production and editing process after the big day. Once our video was completed, Sherri worked with the editing team to make a few adjustments to our final product to ensure everything was perfect!
Our Videographer, Phillip, was fantastic! He arrived early, was very attentive and worked seamlessly with our photographer to get phenomenal footage of our wedding day. He captured all of our “must have” shots, as well as great footage throughout the day. The attention to detail paid off, giving us an amazing wedding video that we will cherish forever.
The editing team did an amazing job on our short film. They narrowed about 8 hours of footage down to a series of beautiful moments that show our wedding story. The film truly is a piece of art!
We cannot recommend this company enough - you will not be disappointed!
