The byDesign team was amazing at responding all of our questions from start to finish. They made sure we understood what our event timeline would be. Their photo and film crew members were very professional and helpful during our event. They made sure we got all the shots we wanted and gave suggestions when we were unsure. I would definitely recommend their services!

My wife and I were having a bit of a difficult time finding quality photographer and videographer within our budget. After having reached out to several other photographers we were a bit worried that we wouldn't be able to find anyone who we could afford (with quality work). Luckily we came across byDesign through one of our many searches and set up a call. After speaking with their team and discussing our wants and needs we were pleasantly surprised to find that their photography and videography fell within our budget! They set us up with a payment schedule and it really helped relieve our stress. All in all we were super happy with the quality of their team and our photos/videos! I'd definitely recommend giving them a call. Weddings are so expensive so finding an affordable, quality team to help capture our day was such a blessing!

Working with the videographer and customer service was painless and fun! We had some snags along the way but the team was quick and thoughtful in helping correct said issues. We 100% completely recommend them to whoever is wanting to get thoughtful work done for their special day! We had two videographers at our wedding who stayed from setup to tear down. It was truly amazing to have so much captured.

We had a great experience working with byDesign. Leading up to our wedding, they reached out to us about what we would want included in our film. Then day-of, they were very easy to work with and captured all the important moments of our wedding without it feeling like they were on top of us. Afterward, they were in regular communication with us about our videos. While it took a little longer than we would have liked to get the videos back, we LOVED the way they came out. And we had some minor editing requests, which they readily implemented. Would definitely recommend working with their team.

We had Zac as our videographer. He was absolutely amazing! I had only met him the day of my wedding and he brought such a calmness and fun to the whole day! It really felt like he was part of our crew. The editing team did such an amazing job with the video! My grandfather was not able to attend the wedding as he lives overseas. He is 93 and we really wanted to get the video to him as soon as possible. The team surprised us and worked overtime to get it to us 2 months ahead of schedule!!! We are so grateful for their work and all that they did for us! Great experience ❤️

When looking for a videographer it was not a easy task. Most were extremely expensive and hard to get ahold of until we contacted bydesign films. They literally made the process so easy and affordable with many options available. Our videographer did an absolute amazing job on the wedding day it’s like he wasn’t even their, he made it seem so effortless and made it extremely easy. It felt like if he was one of our friends. The shots that they got are stunning and literally take our breath away each and every time we watch it. We went with a short film and literally was everything we would ever and imagine and more. We used byDesign films for our wedding in Santa Barbara and they were amazing! The lead-up before the wedding everything was super organized - Brittany is awesome and very on top of things. Our entire experience with this company, from the time we booked them, and now through the post-wedding/production process, has been nothing but smooth and simple. Working with byDesign Films was such a pleasant experience! They were actually my only vendor who would initiate e-mails with us and check in to see how everything was going/if we needed anything. (All other vendors we had to initiate conversations, which is normal but byDesign was so so helpful). They answered all our questions so quickly. Even after the wedding, when I filled out my questionnaire about what to include/not to include- I changed my mind after 48 hours and they were totally fine with me re-doing the questionnaire. These guys were amazing from start to finish! They give you every chance to describe the video you want and help you think about what you really want to capture, the style and everything like that. We had the pleasure of working with DQ, who was absolutely full of energy and seemed genuinely happy to be filming our big day. A wedding videographer was probably one of the vendors that we went back and fourth with the most. During my search, I found that the wedding videos were either poor quality and painful to watch, or they were movie material but entirely out of our budget. When I stumbled upon byDesign Films, I knew I had found our wedding videographer right away. Their films are authentic, beautiful, high quality, and diverse. There are many different packages to choose from to work with your budget and everyone I spoke with from day one of inquiring was kind, approachable and very easy to communicate with. by Design Films was AMAZING! We worked with Taylor Kiger and loved every moment. I set this up as a surprise for my fiance on our wedding day. They captured the surprise perfectly along with every other important moment. Taylor was so helpful on our song selection as it took us a few months after the wedding to decide on and they still produced the film in the promised time frame. Additionally, we had a few edit requests and they too their time to perfect each edit and make the film everything we wanted and more!

While I wasn't sure if I wanted a videographer at our wedding but my husband talked me into it and I'm super glad that we chose to have a professional at our wedding! Nuk & Nut Suwanchote were very professional, capturing every important moment in a surprisingly very seamless way. We can't wait to see our videos!

Planning our wedding we got mixed reviews about hiring a videographer. So glad we decided to hire a videographer and even happier we went with byDesignFilms to capture our special day! Among the vendors we researched and spoke with, they offered everything we were looking for for the most reasonable price. Though we never met in person until the day of the wedding, communication was so simple, easy, and quick. When we finally did meet our videographers the day of the wedding, they were very friendly and again easy to talk to and work with. They worked real well with our photographer which was so important because I know how it can be difficult when the two get in each other’s way. The videos were delivered in a timely manner and were better than we could have hoped for. Hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the day we were engaged (let’s be honest... prior to that..) we wanted to have a cinematographer at our wedding. Then we started shopping around and sadly took it out of our budget... then we happened to come across byDesign films (I may or may not have been still dreaming of our wedding video)... After a great email exchange with Zack and with only 3 months to go until our wedding, we found a way to make it work with his help. Once we confirmed, Zack put us in contact with Brittany who was SO AMAZING through the entire process. She emailed us back every time in what felt like mintues and was very communicative and helpful from day one. Fast forward to our perfect wedding day.. this amazing couple (Dakin and Laura) showed up to start filming. They never once made us feel awkward or uncomfortable, everything was so natural and FUN. The worst part about our whole experience was the anticipation waiting for our films to arrive, but even then, they came faster than expected!! Erica did our editing and took everything Laura and Dakin captured, and turned it into everything we dreamed of and more. The little details (like panning over our lost loved ones while the officiant is mentioning those we wish were here with us... or when my husband was talking about my smile in his vows and she put that over footage of me smiling while getting ready) it’s just perfect. It has been so special to be able to share with friends and family who were not able to make the trip; we can’t stop watching it and cannot wait to share with our future generations. BDF sent a local videographer (Stan Pe) who did an absolutely amazing job capturing every aspect of what we wanted. I was a little nervous to hire a videographer because I didn't want the whole wedding day to be centered around documenting with photos and video, but now my husband and I are SO glad we did. byDesign was so easy to work with both before, during, and after the wedding. The people from ByDesign were well trained and professional. Most importantly, they work well with our photographers. Sherri was in charge of our account for the editing and i think we may have slight bit difficult and there were some misunderstanding, but she was professional and polite to get this resolved. Keep reading if you want to know why<<< I started out planning our wedding with no intent on hiring a videographer since I had a photographer already and thought having pictures were enough. Later, I was told by friends and family that, not having a video would be my biggest regret. I didnt want this to be the case, so I listened. I found ByDesign Films through the knot and did my research. their quality was phenomenal, the videos I watched of other couples, was like a movie. Each film told a different love story, I was amazed. As any bride though, I still had many fears about hiring them because at the time, that was a lot of money to invest in something that I wasn't planning on doing from the beginning. I also am used to the one on one person experience not a whole team. I was worried that with so many people working on my video, that it wouldn't be as personal... but boy, I was wrong! Once I inquired, the team embraced me and set up a phone call to discuss the wedding. They walked me though the steps and collections as well explaining what the team does. My Project Coordinator, never got annoyed at all of my many questions before and even after the wedding which was the BEST customer service. Im a person who knows exactly what I'm wanting, when it comes to the wedding indostry (since I'm a wedding photographer). Some vendors tend to get turned away by this and want to do their own thing at a wedding, but bydesign films listened to EXACTLY what I wanted and went beyond that. This made it so personal for Mike and I. Once we received our 3 Films I had the biggest smile ever and tears came out of my eyes. I LOVE the footage and how it was put into the film. Its like being able to be back at the wedding day and see so many memories of footage that I had already forgotten about before watching the film. We will now be able to have these for the rest of our lives. I am so blessed by the amazing team who made the films possible. For any brides or couples out there who don't know whether to hire a videographer, look no further than ByDesign Films. Let this review be enough, because this will be, one of the BEST investment you will make, on documenting your day and seeing the real footage of the love. You brides plan, plan, plan for many months. When the wedding day actually comes, it goes by so fast and most brides aren't able to take it all in. That was me, I was that bride. Hiring byDesign Films was quite literally the smartest decision I made when planning my wedding. I spent a ton of time researching videographers, and they all seemed to produce the same bland conventional stuff. Then I happened to stumble upon this company. I was completely blown away- the quality of their films is on a whole different level. It's movie quality. I was no less blown away with my own wedding film they produced, it is truly a masterpiece. My friends and family were in tears watching it. Working with the whole team before, during, and after my wedding was a dream. Brittany, the project manager, is super friendly, attentive, very detail-oriented, and always responded to my emails promptly. They also let you be as involved as you want in the production process, ie music selection, overall theme, scene additions/deletions. Also, on the day of my wedding, the videographers were great about being in the foreground and not detracting from any events. They were great working alongside my photographer, and were very easy going with any ideas we had. I really can't say enough great things about this company. If you can swing it, do it. You'll be so happy you did.

From the beginning they were professional, quick to answer any questions or concerns, and worked with us to create the highest quality film within our budget. The videographer showed up on time and was very professional, and captured every moment that we wanted him to. The final product was well done and made it able for us to relive our big day. My husband and I are both very happy with the products and service that ByDesign provided. At the end of the day, it's a very personal/stylized product to get right and it's hard for any editing team to decipher what footage or specific shots are important/meaningful for you to include in your video so communication during post-production is key to requesting the changes you want. The team was very accommodating and willing to get the films as close as possible to what you want. We focused on making changes to our highlight film because that's what we were sharing with friends/family and most likely to rewatch over and over again, so we left our full length alone, especially since making changes to it would've been an endless pursuit. My experience with ByDesign Films was exceptional from start to finish. Rebecca responded to my emails so promptly and really worked with us to make sure we were receiving everything we asked for in our package. Sherri was also amazing to work with. She was so professional and promptly responded to my emails as well and worked so hard to ensure that our video was 100% perfect for us. I did A LOT of research on videographers, and ByDesign is the best quality for the most reasonable price. My family and I are so happy with our film and we are so excited to be able to have this memory for the rest of our lives. If you are considering a videographer for your wedding, do yourself a favor and book with ByDesign! You will not be disappointed!

If you are interested in paying an absurd amount of money and not receiving a wedding video ByDesign is for you! After spending nearly $6000 with them they told me MONTHS after my wedding that they didn’t have enough “quality footage” to produce my wedding film. I paid for extended time, upgraded cameras, two videographers and a drone and all I got was a few minutes of a highlight film. I did not receive my actual wedding video. They had no explanation as to why this had happened but I assume it’s because they hire freelance workers to capture their film. I will never be able to remake my day and not having that video I was promised is beyond devastating. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for your wedding day video needs. Extremely unprofessional, unreliable and heartbreaking.

Our videographers were so creative during the whole day. We asked them to help us do an exit and they came up with some great ideas that we ended up doing one of them. We can’t wait to see how it all turned out. Thank you so much!!!

My husband and I could not have asked to work with a better company! We had nothing but positive interactions leading up to our wedding day and to the arrival of our highlight video. The team at byDesign Films have such talent, and they treated us with the upmost respect and professionalism. We are beyond thrilled with the video that will always remind us of the happiest day of our lives.

I guess this is a hit or miss. I personally absolutely hate how my wedding video turned out. I have no complaints regarding the long production time, hoping for at least an acceptable result. But it basically turned out to be a huge disappointment. The samples ByDesign put up are nothing like what I hot back from them. My $100k wedding looks like somebody's sweet 16 in the video. I really want to ask why spent so much time on shooting the chairs??? Why not the flowers, guests or me the bride??? Maybe I should expect this when I saw the typo on ByDesin's price menu. I have only been frugal this once in my life, and I deeply regret it. ----------------- Edit of this review: After ByDesign has received my complaints, they have made great effort in re-editting my video. Though the end result is still not 100% perfect due to the lack of good original footage, I will still raise my review from 1 star to 3 stars in appreciation of their re-editting effort.

I would definitely recommend. Very professional and our highlight film looks like a movie preview! Sherri was great via email and let me know it was no problem when I wanted to make some small changes. I can't wait to see the final footage!

Booking ByDesign for our videography was by far the best decision we made. Prior to the day were sent an in dept questionnare that really helped establish what wanted to in the video, and the final outcome was absolutely amazing. The day of the wedding both videographers arrived on time were able to fit in seamlessly with the groom and bridal parties. We barely even noticed they were there! When the final product arrived, it was beautiful but we had some small editing requests. The ByDesign team, in particular Brittany Reichwald, were so accommodating and kindly made our requested changes with no issues at all. The video is seriously stunning and not at all cheesy or corny like a lot we had seen before with other companies. Would highly recommend this great company!

byDesign makes the most magical wedding videos and is a pleasure to work with! They shot our wedding and we could not be more happy with how our video came out. The two videographers who came were so professional and caught everything we requested. The video editing team did an outstanding job and really listened to what we wanted in our video. My husband and I had no clue where to start to find a videographer. Once we stumbled upon ByDesigns, we immediately decided to book them for our wedding date. Our videographer was very friendly and accommodating. It seemed like he was able to be everywhere at once, capturing all the special moments. We both really enjoyed working with ByDesigns and love the final product!

My mom said that the only thing she wished she had from her wedding 40 years ago was to have a video to watch in the future. So we embarked on a journey to find a videographer for the day... Unlike selecting the photographer, there are much fewer options when it comes to video. We browsed several of the vendors our coordinator suggested, and they all had a website with samples of their work. The initial quality of byDesign was a lot nicer than most of the others. We filled out the form form more info and quickly received a call from, looking back, the salesman. He told us, that unlike other videographers, they are cinematographers and approach the day artistically rather than a point and shoot. There were only a few packages available, with some add-ons. We chose the Complete Package + Aerial (Drone) Cinematography for $4750. After signing the contract, we were then handed off to a Project Manager to work out all of the details. Not much happened between the time we signed the contract to the wedding day. When the day came, there were 2 "cinematographers" and a drone operator on scene. Everything seemed to go ok, they mic'd me up with a wireless pack. I guess with the nature of videography (oops, "cinematography") they were certainly noticeable during the day. They 2 guys were nice though, one even helped lift me in the chair during the hora. Then we started to work on the deliverables. The highlight video was completed about 2 months later and the only thing we requested to change was to add more aerial stuff. For a 4 1/2 minute "film" we were happy and the quality pretty much matched what we saw online during our selection process. The process for the "full length film" (FLF) was an absolute nightmare... Our project manager sent us the 1st (of 6) FLFs about a week later and problems ensued. There is not enough space here to give a full rundown of the issues, so I'll give some lowlights: 1) THEY COMPLETELY MISSED GRANDMA DURING THE PROCESSIONAL 2) EVEN THOUGH I WAS MIC'D, MY VOWS WERE BARELY AUDIBLE 3) THE PROCESSIONAL WAS OUT OF ORDER UNTIL v6 4) MUSIC WAS MISSING AND/OR WAS WRONG 5) ONLY A FEW MINUTES OF GENERAL DANCING DURING THE RECEPTION. 6) LESS THAN 30 SECONDS FOR GRAND EXIT 8) PM LEFT COMPANY HALF-WAY THRU With each subsequent version of the full length film (FLF), it became more and more apparent that something was wrong. We would provide timestamps from the FLF of issues; they would fix "some" of them and glance over others. THEN WE LEARNED THE TRUTH... After months of back-and-forth requests/changes, with promises that they would be addressed/fixed, we started aggressively pressuring our (new) PM for weeks, then they finally admitted that there was no footage captured by "their" cinematographers. IT TOOK 3 MONTHS FOR THEM TO ADMIT THEY COMPLETELY MISSED CAPTURING KEY FOOTAGE!!! The PM's promised time and time again that they would fix the problems, even though they knew there was no footage to accommodate the requests. byDesign IS NOT IN CALIFORNIA (or any other city/state) they farm out the filming process to local persons with cameras. Those people then send the footage back to IDAHO for editing and composition. There is a complete disconnect between the filming and the editing process. Disappointed does not begin to describe working with byDesign, or the quality of the FLF, especially for the cost. We would've been better off if our guest's used their phones to "film" the day.

The people were great to work with, great collaboration. The final result is exactly what we had in mind, captured the evening entirely.
