Hiring DJ Jon made my entire wedding a success!!! After securing the agreement, we did an intro call to go over the vision and details. When we connected I said, "well i already made the wedding playlist, it's 5 hours long on Spotify, I think i'm good to go!" He laughed in a friendly way and said - "OK, awesome, let's just go over a few things, do you have a pen and paper?" He proceeded to educate me on the ins and outs of wedding playlists / planning - what song would the moms be seated down to? What would the bridal and groom party walk down the aisle to? Would I do an anniversary dance or bouquet toss? Did I have a preference on songs for the cake cutting? Mood for dinner music? Would I need extra microphones for speeches or toasts? During the ceremony? I learned SO MUCH from that phone call!!!! I just had no idea how much thought went into every minute of wedding production. He was extremely booked up and busy as we headed into the summer months, but was always quick to respond to my texts regardless. He mixed the fabulous song trio that my dad and I did our father daughter dance to, changed the tempo of my husband and I's first dance when it was too slow with the dance instructor, basically just helped with EVERYTHING throughout the whole process! He was also RIGHT, about SO many things!!! (I'm really stubborn and often blow off advice when i want to do something) For example - I sent him a video of my dad and I's hip hop surprise dance at the end, and he said... that's great! But what will you be wearing? I said, my dress of course! And he expressed a bit of concern. I ignored him, until my final dance practice with dad in the dress, 4 days before the wedding. Want to know what happened? I gave my dad a bloody toe, he stepped on the dress over a dozen times, and I fell so hard that I almost sprained my knee. 😂😂😂 I ended up doing that particular dance barefoot in white jeans, then slipping the dress back on - ha!! He really knew what he was talking about. I also flipped the entire ceremony and did an upside down wedding - photos, cocktail hour, dinner, ceremony, party - and he was SO supportive and on board! Made the whole thing flow flawlessly! On the day of, he was just as (if not more) helpful than the day of coordinator and photographer. He had a weather app on his phone tracking the radar, jumped in everywhere to help, triple checked playlists, and made sure I was happy with the decorations. FLAWLESS! At least a dozen people told me it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. Friends from NYC and LA said they wished they'd had that talented of a DJ at their weddings, and said he made the WHOLE thing so much fun! If you're looking for a DJ in Charleston - HIRE HIM! You'll be insanely grateful that you did. Also, if you're somewhere else in the states - FLY HIM TO YOU! 😂 Not kidding, he's that good. Thanks for making my wedding day the DREAM I fantasized about for 30 years Jon, you're the absolute best!!!!!

Jon Fiest was a perfect choice for our wedding. Our guests have said it was the BEST wedding they ever attended. It’s super easy to pick music on his website to make requests lists for your wedding day. His mash ups on the dance floor are so awesome!!!

Jon was such a pleasure to work with! The entire process was smooth and easy. I really liked the fact that Jon has a user friendly website that allows people to create their own playlists. I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. Jon was very personable, and he has such a positive vibe about him! I know my guests really enjoyed themselves on the dance floor, thanks to Jon. I also asked him to prepare for an anniversary dance, and I don’t think that could have gone anymore beautifully than what it did. He was very reasonably priced as well. Jon was extremely professional and did a phenomenal job with providing the experience that we were looking for during our wedding and reception. Thank you for keeping the dance floor full - so much so that we had guests asking us for the playlists! Would definitely recommend and use again in the future for any event!

We can't recommend Dj Jon Feist enough!! He is INCREDIBLE at what he does and an incredible person. He was our dj (the best ever!), did all of our lighting at the venue, and then some! We had a destination wedding, so we met with him when we were in town and immediately knew he would be awesome. He is very kind, professional, honest, creative, and just bottom line there for you. He has a very easy software system to pick your preferred songs and incorporates them throughout the night.. and EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night. He helped to create a really fun atmosphere on the floor for sure! We did a choreographed first dance, but we loved two songs so months before our wedding we asked if he could mash them together. He was happy to do it and did such an amazing job. The lighting was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we wanted--again, really creating an amazing backdrop and atmosphere. If you are on the fence between two dj's, I HIGHLY recommend going with Jon because he actually cares about his couples and was hands on with everything. We had multiple issues with our coordinator and some things went wrong, but Jon was the first to step up and take the reigns beyond his job to keep everything on track and make sure everything was going smoothly for us. There was even a moment where my toss bouquet went missing and he ran around the venue to find something suitable for me to throw. I was seriously just in awe. So on top of the lighting, dj-ing, etc..he really helped manage the night. It was like he saw an issue and just knew what to do, no questions asked. We couldn't believe it and honestly are not sure what we would have done without him. Jon is seriously the best!! We are so so so happy he found him and can't thank him enough for all that he did for us on our special day!

Can’t recommend DJ Jon enough. He was kind enough to FaceTime with us before we hired him and we liked him right away. He’s even better in person and definitely knows how to manage a wedding reception. He was great to work with, and the song software he uses is super easy and really helped us compile all the music we wanted to use during our wedding! He kept the dance floor going and was respectful about which songs requests were played and which ones needed approval from us. Overall a great experience and I’d hire him again in a heartbeat.

We were so lucky to have found Melodic Entertainment! He is amazing at what he does. He made our vision come to life and everyone is still talking about our wedding! He was very helpful and very personable. His set up was elegant! Every detail was worked out. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and communication was key. The price was perfect for a day you will never forget. I was beyond happy when I saw everything set up! Everyone was up and dancing non stop!

We felt very comfortable with him and everyone is still talking about how great it was! The dry ice smoke machine was SO worth it I highly recommend it! Jon kept the party going all night long! He was professional and helpful from the very beginning. He was easy and fun to work with. He checked in before the wedding to make sure he had everything correct. He was so quick to get back to me with any questions I had. The way he mixes songs together was amazing! It all flowed so well. Everyone commented on how awesome our DJ was. There wasn’t one moment during the whole night that the dance floor wasn’t full. We would highly recommend Jon. He exceeded our expectations. You won’t be disappointed!!

Melodic Entertainment did a great job at our wedding! The online portal to select songs was convenient and easy to use. We met with Jon once before the wedding and he's great to work with. He really knows what he is doing and not only plays the music you request but also gets a feel for what the crowd is responding to. Our guests loved him! Highly recommend!

DJ Jon was amazing to work with and I absolutely LOVED that he mixed the music live! He was very receptive to the mood during the reception and even placed a perfect "FRIENDS" cameo following my Matron of Honors speech! He is a very talented DJ and an amazing MC. He also provided the lighting and made it look exactly as I had hoped it would! He is very easy to work with and his music selection site offers an amazing database of songs to pick from to help stream line the process of "must plays" and "don't plays" list.

DJ Jon did an INCREDIBLE job. Not only did he do an amazing job with the music and got our wedding guests dancing, but it rained during our wedding and he was walking guests from under the house to the tent with an umbrella. He is super sweet and great at what he does. He went above and beyond for us and we would recommend him to all looking for a DJ!

We hired DJ Jon for our wedding in March of 2018 and we could have not been happier with his work. His software of songs made it extremely easy to indicate which songs were important to us to be played and he then used his own creativity to mix and match and create a seamless flow from one song to the next. Above all of that, Jon genuinely wants to make sure you have a great event and is great with communication to ensure everything is perfect. We found DJ Jon Feist at our friend’s wedding down in Hilton Head Island. I am SO happy that we got to hear him that night because it was one of the easiest decisions about our wedding that we had to make. He was amazing. He is the absolute best wedding DJ I’ve ever heard (and I’ve gone to quite a few weddings). He listens to what your style is to get a good base and then continues to play better and better songs all night long. Our dance floor was absolutely packed the entire night. He never played a dance floor killer or followed up a fast dance song with a slow song. We have received so many compliments about Jon that we’ve lost count. He really made our reception the party we wanted. He even went above his job title to put together a custom mix for my Dad and I to dance to. He is simply the best. Do yourself a favor and book him for your wedding right now.

DJ Jon is outstanding!!! I have been to and have been in so many weddings and can honestly say, YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER DJ!! First, he sends out a link so you can build a list for him of your loves, likes, and don't play songs! This was a huge hit for my now husband and I! We also were able to incorporate a "what would you like to hear at our wedding" section on our RSVP so all of our guests were able to pick a song selection that we had added to the list. It was amazing and our guests loved it. He played every song we requested and avoided the songs on our don't play list. I was SO thrilled with his work. He was a wonderful DJ, was timely in communication, and is extremely reasonable in price. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else there on our wedding day! Thanks so much, DJ Jon!!

Jon DJ'd our wedding two weeks ago. He met with my wife and I before hand, was very detailed and professional. He made sure he stayed in communication with us during the entire process, months out up to the big day. When we arrived Jon had the entire venue lit up with some awesome cafe lighting. He made sure that the ceremony was perfect and the mode was set. Now when it came to getting butts on the dance floor there is none better, from 4-84, everyone had a blast as Jon moved the night along seamlessly.
