I could not recommend them enough. Not only does Melody keep the party going, she’s basically a day of coordinator. She saved my wedding when my caterer didn’t show up and she helped organize getting dinner there before I even realized it was missing. She is so sweet and kind and truly cares for her brides. I love her and she has become a family friend! Everyone is still raving about how awesome she is!

I cannot say enough great things about Melody's services! My daughter booked Melody to DJ her wedding this past weekend. Although, I did not meet Melody until the big day, Melody had very good communication with my daughter prior and up to the wedding. I thought Melody's pricing was reasonable and within our budget. Melody had great suggestions for my daughter and assisted with ceremony/reception timeline! At the wedding, Melody kept things rolling smoothly and had everyone laughing and enjoying themselves. I would not hesitate to recommend Melody to anyone planning a wedding in the future.

Melody was amazing from the start. She was quick to respond and work with me to make the perfect music selections for our wedding. On top of that Melody was an amazing entertainer during our wedding. She fit in seamlessly and felt like part of the party. Couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding!

Melody was FANTASTIC! Highly recommend. She was great at communicating and also great about facilitating our vision for the feel and 'sound' of the wedding. And she pulled me aside when my little cousin asked to have a dance off - just to make sure it was ok with me! Ha! It was hilarious and the best time.

I cannot say enough good things about Melody. I kept her information for 10 years from another wedding and she was even better than I remember. People are still texting/calling me and telling me how amazing she was. Melody gives you a sense of calm. As soon as she walked in our venue on the wedding day I had zero stress (and some instant laughs)... I knew she'd make sure, along with our venue coordinator, that everything would run PERFECTLY, and it did. I wouldn't have changed a single thing. Our ceremony music was on point and I love the enthusiasm she brought to everything she did. She read the crowd and played the best music and she kept the party going! If you didn't know a line-dance then she was out there teaching you. People packed the dance floor the entire evening. I can't thank you enough Melody - you were such a pleasure to work with. Melody is absolutely wonderful!! She was so helpful every step of the way from wedding planning to the big day. She made sure that both of our music style preferences were included into the wedding somehow and made it flow perfectly!!

Absolutely amazing from the very first call I had with Melody. We had a very unconventional wedding without an officiant or really a flow at first, but Melody came in and made everything so smooth and absolutely perfect for our big night. I can't give enough compliments or thanks to Melody for her time with us! Lori did an amazing job. She met with us about 3 weeks before the reception to go over everything. I felt great leaving that meeting. The day of the event she ran the reception. The entire night was perfect. My husband and I kept on schedule but also got to have a ball on the dance floor. I would recommend Lori to everyone!

STOP! YOU HAVE FOUND THE RIGHT DJ!! I have no words to describe how awesome our wedding was thanks to Melodie! She kept the party going the whole time. She went to the tables and interacted with all the guests. she helped my husband put together a wonderful surprise dance. She was absolutely amazing. Seriously the best in the biz.. All I heard after the wedding was how awesome the DJ was. These two are def the ones to go with. We had a couple friends JUST get married and they were saying how our wedding was the wedding of the year! It definitely couldn't have been without Melodie!

If you are trying to decide who to go with as you DJ, look no further. Melodie and Lori are amazing. From the moment that we met them, we knew that they were the ones that we wanted to DJ our wedding. Leading up to the day, we had been in contact with them, figuring out what type of music we wanted, what songs we wanted to play for the ceremony, and when those songs should be played. I have been in about 6 weddings where Melodies and Memories worked the wedding and they are by far was the BEST choice I could possibly make. Lori worked my wedding two weeks ago and she did an amazing job. She kept the ball rolling and made things so much fun and stress free. She is very personable and I would recommend this company to anyone!

I was referred to Melodies & Memories by my wonderful wedding planners, Bursby Events & Designs, and I couldn’t be happier! Melody was awesome and an absolute delight. She really helped me feel more at ease about my wedding. I met with her a few weeks before the wedding and we discussed every aspect of the wedding for hours. Before the meeting, I was feeling a little overwhelmed and stressed because I wanted a beautiful wedding without the traditional structure, or without people realizing there was a structure. Melody was able to put me at ease with her in depth questions, suggestions and timeline. The day of the wedding, she was fantastic. The music was on point and she really came through with what she promised to do. She also helped me stay focused on my day and not the little details. She was so good that I paid for an extra hour and a guest paid for another and she was more than willing to keep the party going! I would definitely recommend her for your next event because you WILL NOT regret it! I still have guests commenting on her skills and how wonderful she was!

Melody was AMAZING at our wedding! She was great as an MC and making sure the flow of the evening worked. Even some of our guests commented on how well everything flowed. As for the music, Melody got the party started and kept it going all night. Everyone had a blast! She played everything we asked, worked in song requests, and was all around a fantastic DJ. I can't imagine having anyone else DJ my wedding. I 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or event.

From the time of booking M&M...the service was fantastic. We even had to move our wedding up by more than a month and they were very accommodating. Lori walked us through everything, was so much help and pointed us in the direction to go all night long. Our guests loved it all and our night was memorable. Thank you for your hard work!!!! I picked her because I had been to a wedding she DJed and had the best time! She did not disappoint at mine either. She runs the reception perfectly, keeps people informed about what's going on and up and dancing on the dance floor. I had friends come up to me at my wedding to tell me she was the best DJ they had ever heard!

It is really hard to put into words how great Melody was! She truly made our wedding. She was amazing from the moment I first called her about pricing. After that first call, I immediately told my husband to be that I found our DJ, which was the one thing that I was having the hardest time with through the planning process. Then, through the next few weeks leading up to the wedding Melody used her experience and expertise to help guide us through the planning process. Without her help with the flow of the day, I don’t think it would have been the wedding of my dreams! Best decision I made through the whole wedding (other than picking my hubby) was booking Melody!

Melody was our DJ, and she ROCKED IT! She made sure we were on schedule so we got to do everything we wanted, even with the multitude of people trying to stop us to chat. She had all of our requested songs, and the guests loved her! It was all fantastic!

Melody is amazing! She was on top of everything. She really does it all. She even helped "coordinate" with no extra fee! She played great music and had the guests out of the dance floor all night. Melody is seriously the best! I found Melody several years ago at a Bridal show for a friend of mine and couldn't wait for her to DJ my wedding. From the first initial phone call to the moment you get in to the car to leave the reception, Melody is there helping through all of it! She is so knowledgeable about her field, as well as all of the other aspects that go into Wedding planning. She was asking me questions that I never would have even thought to ask or think about. She is really familiar with most of the big venues in the DFW area, as well as many of the vendors (photographers, videographers, etc.). I've attended 3 weddings where Melody was the DJ in addition to her doing mine. She ensures the caterers are where they need to be, shuffles around family members who aren't sitting in the correct Reserved Spot, helps with the room arrangement and set up...if you need her, she will be there! I wouldn't recommend anyone else but Melody and Memories for your DJ. She is the real deal and whole package!!

Melody was more than a DJ for my wedding. She was like an extra coordinator. Very fun and professional she helped me through some melt downs before the wedding day even came. I was referred to Melody from my minister, The Rev. Aliene Bodholdt. By the time I got around to getting the DJ booked, my stress level was maxed out! So when the Rev had a referral I was ecstatic! My previous encounters with DJs at bridal shows and via email had turned up too many costly and flat personalities for options that were just no longer in my budget. Melody contacted me around 8:30 pm, about 15 minutes after I submitted my questionnaire via her website (which was very user friendly). We talked about the reception and ceremony for about 45 minutes! She had such a friendly and upbeat personality without being annoying or overbearing. She agreed to send me her full reception work book that evening for me to review in detail and decide if I wanted to book her. She didn’t have a strict timeline either for getting back. No pushy sales here! After reading her professional reception worksheets though I was sold. Melody took all of the nerves I had about dancing and picking the right mix of music and threw them out the window! With all of my answers compiled and timeline I worked out with my coordinator at the venue, she created a budget friendly reception list that was the hit of the night! She gave me so many options to choose from based on our interests. I received so many compliments about her! She kept the crowd engaged, was timely, dressed appropriately, was incredibly funny, and a pure gem to work with. I am very pleased with Melody and her set up. All of her services were PERFECT! She even popped into the photo booth and surprised me! What a find….what a find…

She kept our day on track and made sure that everything flowed smoothly. When we showed up for our consultation and had no idea what songs to pick, she read us easily and was able to find the right songs that suited us. The communication before and after the wedding day was very good and everything taken care of in a timely manner.

I cannot say enough good things about Melodies and Memories. If it wasn't for Melody, I think my wedding would have been a flop. She kept everything moving and everyone having a good time. Melody is so friendly and personable; it was truly a pleasure to work with her. She even helped me with song choices and timing. I had a DOC, but that person ended up doing hardly anything. Melody truly saved the day. She is worth every penny and then some!

I had seen Lori in action at a friend's wedding several years ago and knew when it came time for my wedding that I had to use her. She was everything I remembered and more since I got to deal with her directly. Everyone at the wedding had a great time and several commented afterwards how much they loved her. She got out on the dance floor and demonstrated dances and was interacting with people while making sure the focus stayed on the bride and groom. If you want the best DJ in town- definitely go with Lori!! She will not disappoint!

I met Melody at a bridal show but she already had an event booked for my wedding day so we booked with Lori who was awesome!! She was always very flexible with my mom and my busy schedule and always responded to all my questions. She had lots of great recommendations and did a great job at the wedding keeping our guests up and dancing and trying to include my husband's long list of songs he wanted to hear! One thing that did happen which I'm sure was an honest mistake but I still wish didn't was that she called my husband and I up to the dancefloor at one point and call me by the wrong name! :( I'm sure she just had a lot of names in her head but at least call the bride and groom by the right name. Overall, I was really pleased with Lori and Melody throughout the planning process and the night of the wedding! I would recommend Melodies and Memories for any event. She was great to work with and lots of fun to pick songs out with.

Lori DJ'd my wedding back in december and she was truly fantastic! I worked witih her back in my high school day at drill team banquet and she was just as great and personal as ever at the wedding. She really tries to get everyone involved. I would highly reccommend her - she is easy to work with

James was great to work with. We gave him suggested songs but told him to go with the crowd. We had people dancing all night! Even my mom was out there having a great time. We never stopped dancing and he kept the evening going and was a lot of fun!

They were amazing! We had so much fun and the guest cant stop talking about our DJ! The night would not have been the same withoout them!!

Melody was AWESOME! Not only was she an amazing DJ that kept everyone dancing, she was hilarious, and kept our reception from falling apart when the caterer caused major issues. She does what the "high end" DJs do for a realistic price. We'll never use anyone else for any other event.

Melody was by far the best vendor we hired and really saved the day with the caterer crisis. Not only did she keep the reception flowing, played exactly what we had talked about, was extremely personable, and kept the dance floor full, she pretty much acted as an overall coordinator. She helped my mom put out repeated caterer “fires” and she is the only reason Jay and I actually got to eat that night (she brought us dinner when the catering staff forgot). When there were problems with the centerpieces, she made sure they were right. We got so many compliments about her and I think she will be the only DJ my family ever uses for any event again. When I booked her last summer, she negotiated her prices to something we could easily work with. She also got us a custom gobo at the last second at cost—it really added a lot to the venue. She went over every detail with us in a 3 hour meeting a week before the wedding and kept us laughing the whole time. Last but not least, she gave us some great suggestions for our Waikiki Beach honeymoon. The woman is amazing. She does what the “high end” DJs do at a reasonable price and she does it well.

My new husband and I are new to Texas and didn't know who to use for a D.J. We went with Melodies and Memories and used Lori from their company. She was a total professional and fun to work with. I had a minor meltdown on my wedding day and it was Lori who talked me down and made everything right again. She was also there to help me up and down stairs etc etc. I can't say enough nice things about her!

I loved this company! The owner Melody is just delightful. She was outgoing and eased my mind about everything. James was our DJ and had the party going the entire night. He was great to work with and my guests loved him!
