DJ Melody was incredible to work with! She listened to what my spouse and I wanted out of our wedding day and delivered the mjost magical night for us and our guests. She not only brought the fun and kept guest engaged but worked seamlessly with our wedding planner and photographer to keep the day running smoothly!

Melody and Company Entertainment was great! Melody herself DJ'd our wedding on January 4th, 2025. Well before our wedding, we were able to meet with Melody's assistant, Amanda, who helped us work out the details of what would be required on our wedding day. We were able to meet with Melody twice, once online and once in-person, to help smooth out the details of our wedding day. She was very flexible and available for this. She not only served as our DJ, but was attentive to what my husband and I needed on the day of our wedding, asking if we needed anything and frequently checking in with us. We had a few song requests that we set prior to the wedding reception, and if she did not see us on the dance floor she made sure to come and find me and my husband before playing the songs that we had requested. We also got the photo booth through Melody and Co and all our guests loved it! The photo booth attendant was very attentive and friendly! If you are not only looking for a DJ but also someone who genuinely cares about your event and goes above and beyond to make it extraordinary and unique to you as a couple, I definitely recommend Melody and Co! Not to mention our dance floor was popping for three whole hours!

We used this company for our DJ in our wedding and they did an amazing job. Amanda was our Dj and she was so sweet and was easy to work with. She listened to what we wanted and executed it perfectly. We also used the photo booth which was super fun and guests loved it!

Amanda was amazing. She met with us multiple times via video call and really made sure that she reflected everything we could want in a DJ. She opened the floor to our feedback, gave insight where needed, and was so thoughtful. She let us decide how involved we wanted her, the level of energy we desired, and she even helped me (the bride) out on the dance floor with a new song once or twice. 10/10 recommend Melody and Co. they are responsive, genuine, and go above and beyond for their clients.

Melody was amazing! It is hard to explain in a short review how great Melody was. We were so worried people wouldn't dance during our reception and she did a fantastic job energizing the crowd, reading the room, and changing the tunes when needed! She worked with us to make sure she was hitting the mark and people were SO complimentary of her as a DJ! We couldn't have been happier with Melody!

Melody & Co. are the best DJs in the 757 and beyond. Melody cared so much about every detail of our day and worked hard to make sure we were happy which we were! She regularly checked in with me throughout the entire day, offered to get me food, water etc. and was flexible when the timeline needed changing. She has a great energy that got all of our guests pumped up and ready to party. I CANNOT sing her praises enough. We were so fortunate to have worked with her and I will 1000% be using her for any events we have in the future!

We had our wedding on 10/21/2023 and Melody did an absolutely amazing job being our DJ! She went out of her way to ensure we were doing okay and we got so many comments from our wedding party on how sweet she was. Before our grand entrances, she made sure she had the pronunciations correct for everyone involved. While my husband and I were taking our individual pictures, she came out and ensured we both got water, which was helpful because I was so stressed and didn't have enough water throughout the day. Throughout the reception, she tried her absolute hardest to get people on the dance floor and was very interactive. Unfortunately, our people aren't dancing people but she made the most of it! Highly recommend Melody and her company, couldn't have imagined anyone doing a better job.

Amanda was amazing. I was a very indecisive bride but she helped my vision, that I wasn't even sure of, come to life. Not only did she keep everyone on the dance floor, she constantly checked on me and my husband to make sure we were having a great time. I would recommend her again and again. Thank you Amanda for making our day amazing!

DJ Amanda was so much fun and so attentive during my wedding. Throughout the planning process she was organized and helpful, and was attentive and gracious throughout the entire wedding day. From ceremony to cocktail hour, dinner and an incredibly fun reception, DJ Amanda kept the best music playing and everyone had such a fun time! Could not recommend DJ Amanda and Melody & Co. more!

Melody was our DJ for the reception, provided microphones and acoustics for the ceremony, and we purchased the photo booth package for the reception. Melody provided flawless entertainment for us and all of our guests; even when the power went out twice during our reception, Melody improvised and kept people dancing until the power came back. She is clearly experienced in the wedding business and continuously offered to get us anything we needed. I have been to multiple weddings in the area, and Melody definitely sticks out as the best!

Melody was an absolutely fantastic DJ, her questionnaire made it very easy to choose our wedding music style. From the ceremony to the reception dinner to the party, Melody didn't skip a beat. But it wasn't just the music that made the night, she was very personal and checked in on us throughout the night to ensure that we had everything that we needed, and if there was anything she could do to make our day better. Melody goes above and beyond, and we couldn't have had our special day without her.

If you want the best DJ and entertainment you can imagine for your wedding, look no further than Melody and Company Entertainment. From the very beginning, Melody kept in touch, and gave us an easy online tool to choose our preferred music and style of entertainment. She was extremely friendly and just a lovely person. At the reception the lights and sound were amazing! Melody played all the songs we'd requested and added others to segue between them. She was a fantastic presenter with her announcements, and coaching certain group dances where necessary. She kept the guests dancing all night and they had a fabulous time! The floor was always hopping! Melody was also happy to stay an extra hour to keep the party going. 5 stars in every category for Melody Entertainment Company.

Melody and Amanda did everything to make sure that our wedding and reception were absolutely perfect! Even when we went completely off script and did a ton of non traditional things, they just rolled with it. When at the reception, Amanda rolled with everything even when we didn't do what we were supposed to or what we had planned. 10/10 recommend!!

Book Melody! She’s fantastic. We had such a great time at our wedding and she kept our guests on their feet and dancing like we wanted! She’s interactive and reads the crowd perfectly. She also was SO helpful in the planning process. She’s THE best and I know her other female DJs are as well!

Do yourself a favor and hire her right away! She will actually tailor her performance to your needs. So many DJs think they know better than the client how to run a party. Not Melody! She knows her craft beautifully, but she is not too proud to let the client tell her what they want. Her timing, transitions, volume, MCing, etc. were all perfect. We could not be happier with our choice to hire her!

There is no better DJ in Hampton Roads than Melody! When we booked her she provided us with a questionnaire to fill out that showed us right off the bat how detailed she was and how committed she was to making sure our day went exactly how we wanted it to. It even helped us build our wedding timeline - that’s how detailed it was! The day of our wedding went so smooth and I credit so much of that to Melody and how prepared she was! She kept all of our guests entertained during transitions and totally rocked our reception! Melody even had a QR code for guests to request songs from which everyone thought was the coolest thing ever. I would also highly recommend purchasing the package that includes the uplighting because it added so much to our reception design and vibe. 10/10 recommend Melody & Co!

We hired Melody & Co. for our wedding because we loved the idea that they only had female DJs. When we met Natalie (DJ LoveHer), we knew that she was exactly what we wanted in a DJ. We had already been married for almost 3 years by the time that military and COVID allowed us to have our ceremony. We just wanted a party for our family and friends. DJ LoveHer played the best songs all night. She read the mood of the crowd, made sure everyone stayed on the dance floor, and ensured we had the most fun. She was the absolute best. Everyone kept telling us after our wedding that it was the most fun that they've had in a very long time and that our wedding was the best. Thank you for making our wedding day and celebration everything we wanted and more! 15/10 would recommend Melody & Co. and DJ LoveHer for any event!!!

Melody is truly amazing! Our wedding was perfect and a large part of that was due to her commitment and care for our day. We are so happy with how it turned out and know that all our guests were thrilled. Melody truly cares for the happiness of her clients and will work incredibly hard to make sure your wedding day is everything you dream. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our day!

Melody made our wedding, no joke! She was perfect. When we first met we told her our families weren't dancers and on our wedding night, EVERYONE was dancing!! She was extremely accommodating to several last-minute changes and I can't thank her enough for making our night incredible!

Melody did a great job! She was very attentative to our needs and even hunted down a movie song for one of our dances! Very friendly and outgoing as well. Some of our guests even complimented us on having such a great DJ. Couldn't have imagined having anyone else!! Love her!

Melody was amazing. She kept the dance floor packed all night, was so interactive with the crowd. She was so professional but so fun and cool to work with. She is extremely reliable and was able to keep the energy high all night. I recommend checking her out, she made my wedding the best night ever and was able to take my ideas and put them into the wedding perfectly.

We could not be more pleased with DJ Melody! She is passionate about her craft and is a true professional. From her experience at Disney you can tell that she really knows how to run a show and keep the crowd excited. She knew exactly what songs to play to keep everybody dancing all night. Throughout the whole process she maintained excellent communication and kept us at ease, meeting with us before the wedding to go over details. We honestly don’t think you can find a better DJ.

Melody with Melody & Company is by far the most vivacious, kindest and sexiest DJ's in the business. Her professionalism leaves you at ease knowing that she has you covered not only on the day of but through your wedding process. She graciously answers any questions that you have and the work she puts out is more than what you ever expected from a DJ. Her vibrant personality and loving heart made it so easy to work with and made the day of my wedding such a breeze. Melody went above and beyond my expectations and was so flexible on the day of my wedding with the weather, space changes, and song adjustments. I would recommend her to anyone that wants to actually have a phenomenal time at their own wedding and cares about their guests having an even better time. She was willing to teach line dances at my wedding for guests who didn't know the steps and was more than willing to find ANY song (especially all of my country ones) that I wanted for my special day. If my 92 year-old grandmother was giving her praise when speaking with my family members and asking where I found a DJ like her, then you KNOW Melody will KNOCK YOUR BOOTS OFF! Melody, my husband and I cannot thank you enough!

DJ Melody is amazing! She was professional, organized, and attentive to us on our big day! Not only did she keep the dance party going with all the best music, she checked in on us constantly to make sure we were taken care of, and made sure all the songs we wanted to hear were heard. She got everyone on the dance floor by teaching simple step choreography to songs and did so in a way that was low key and kept the night all about us, our guests, and the music. We loved her!!
