We chose to have our wedding at Melody Manor this September, and it was *hands down* the best decision we made throughout the entire process. We are Lake George locals, so we know all of the popular lakeside event spaces pretty well after having attended many beautiful weddings in our region. Melody Manor has them all beat!!! We were married and had our tented reception on the Great Lawn with incredible views of Huddle Bay, the Sagamore and the Narrows. We enjoyed a fabulous cocktail hour that same day on the private beach with Huddle Brook and the old stone wall as a backdrop. We had a welcome party on the front lawn the night before, and also hosted a kids area there during our wedding. We enjoyed the Manor Room (event center) on site for our breakfasts and late night festivities. Photo opportunities around the entire property were endless, you truly have to walk the grounds yourself to understand. Kids as well as adults loved the pool, playground, games, and water toys. We also used several of their docks throughout the weekend. And we still could have done more with the space! Not only was the venue itself huge and beautiful and perfect for an outdoor summer wedding, but we were also able to host roughly 60 of our family and friends who needed accommodation right on site for 3 days. This was hugely important to us and created the summer camp vibe we wanted for our wedding (but with less screen doors and bunk beds and more gorgeous gardens and amenities). The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable, many with balconies, patios and lake views. The bridal & groomsman suites (renovated 1 bedroom apartments) are impeccable and such a lovely retreat for us and our friends during the craziness. Everyone loved their stay, we especially didn't want to leave. Bolton Landing is a cute and fun town to visit, much more friendly as well as trendy than nearby Lake George Village. Don't get me wrong, we love the Village, but if you want to experience a real Adirondack town come to Bolton. Most importantly, the owners, staff and event coordinator of Melody Manor went absolutely ABOVE AND BEYOND for us throughout the weekend. They anticipated every need, had things done for us before we could even ask, and allowed us to take full advantage of their beautiful property. With these folks on our team, everything went smoothly and whole group felt right at home. Whether you're looking for your wedding venue or a place to spend a few cozy nights, on the lake, please look no further. Give them a call and you'll see what we mean! I'm telling you this is it. I do not think you could find a better venue on Lake George and then some. At a minimum, it was absolutely beautiful, but truly the experience goes above and beyond. They allowed us to book out the entire property, every room at the resort, for three nights. Where most venues limit you to a 5-6 hours for wedding & reception, we literally got to spend 3 days with our guests, enjoying this private estate on the most beautiful lake in the world. On Friday we had a welcome BBQ down by the water, Saturday morning a yoga class on the dock before the wedding in the late afternoon. On Sunday we had pizza and a movie night on the lawn overlooking the lake. The entire Melody team is a family and they will make you feel a part of. They were so incredibly flexible and supportive of making our vision come to life, it was truly the wedding of our dreams. I really can't recommend it enough and promise you will not find another venue that allows you to get as much quality time with your guests or flexibility and support in bringing your dream wedding to life than Melody Manor.

Melody Manor Resort was the perfect setting for our September 2023 wedding. This venue offered a beautiful canvas for us to bring our vision to life. I don't think any other venue on Lake George offers such expansive grounds and amazing views with the option to keep the event private by renting out the entire property. Melody Manor truly provides an intimate and personal experience. The venue cooperated with our different vendors with ease over multiple events throughout the weekend, allowing us to truly celebrate. While the ceremony site is gorgeous, and truly unique, it doesn't stop there. Our photographer was in awe of all the beautiful nooks and hidden gems across the property that made for amazing photos. The bridge was perfect for our first look - like it was made for us! And the historic stone staircase was amazing as well. We were able to set up a beautiful sailcloth tent on the upper lawn for our reception, and our guests enjoyed the gorgeous lakeview all night long. The firepits were a huge hit to close out the perfect evening. Our guests were very pleased with the lovely rooms at Melody Manor, many of them with lake views. Everyone loved being on site for the entire weekend, able to take advantage of kayaks, paddleboards, tennis, pickleball, cornhole, and many other activities, or just relaxing between wedding events. We were able to rent a gorgeous bridal suite, which has a great open space with natural light, perfect for hair and makeup, and located conveniently right next to our reception space. All in all, we couldn't be happier with our decision to have our wedding at Melody Manor (and wish we could do it all over again)!

After getting engaged in October, we were quickly on the hunt for a location to host our Lake George wedding weekend in late May. Melody Manor popped up on our search and after our first visit to the property we knew it was the perfect place for us. Not only is the property one of the most beautiful I've seen on Lake George, but Rose and her family were so welcoming and responded to all of our questions quickly during the planning process. Before long we felt like we were part of the family too and it made our wedding feel even more special. We loved the Melody Manor resort because of the location and amazing staff! The resort provided us with options for the various events of our wedding weekend. We were able to host our reception dinner at the lakeside beach, the ceremony on the great lawn and lucky for us they had a separate event space that we were able to host our reception dinner and dancing in. You never know what the weather at Lake George will be in late May and having an indoor option was a game changer for us! The hotel and wedding planning staff were so helpful leading up to the wedding and let us come to hotel whenever we needed to take measurements or talk through ideas. Charis worked directly with our caterer and wedding planning to help support us in anything we needed, such as providing plans of all the spaces and working through timelines of events. She provided us with so many great tips on wedding setup as well. When it came time for the wedding weekend, Charis and Kareem supported us the whole time and helped us run food, equipment, chairs, and some of our older guests around the property. The property itself is well maintained and the rooms are all clean and updated. Each morning we had breakfast brought in for our guests and the hotel staff provided support to help set up everything we needed. I can't say enough good things or recommend this property more to those looking to host the perfect wedding weekend on Lake George. Most of our wedding guests traveled from out of town and they all walked away falling in love with Lake George after their stay at Melody Manor. We can't wait to go back and wish we could do it all over again!

Melody Manor is a dream location for your dream wedding. The owners are the most gracious hosts you could ask for and will go above and beyond to make your day special. We had a four day wedding weekend with 99% of our guests coming from out of state. They worked with us to make sure every detail was perfect and eliminated any stress a bride might feel. On Thursday night our wedding party had a private event at the bar on property, other guests were welcomed on Friday with a pre I do BBQ (outside catering was welcomed and set up on property), that evening we set up a screen by the water for a slide show, music and bonfire, Saturday was our gorgeous wedding and Sunday the guests had a farewell brunch offered by Rose. When I say every single detail was perfect, I mean EVERY single detail was PERFECT. Many of our guests stayed on property and loved the access to the water and made use of all the amenities. The view was the perfect backdrop and we had a gorgeous day. While you can’t find a more picturesque spot on the lake, the true treasure of having your wedding there is the welcoming warmth the owners offer. You don’t get the impression your planning a conference or stuck with a pre packaged plan. They truly let you customize your day and work tirelessly to make your vision come true.

A beautiful property with a million-dollar view. We were blessed to have found Melody Manor to host our special day. They have plenty of real estate to accommodate any size wedding with a suitable number of rooms right on site. We took advantage of their waterside area to end the event with a relaxing fire with friends. Simply a wonderful place.
