Memorable Ceremonies

Victor Oswald married my husband and I just 4 days ago, and I am still having friends and family telling me how amazing our ceremony was! We met with Victor and spoke several times to get our ceremony just right-and it was. It was personalized to be just for the two of us and could not have been more amazing and touching! Victor was on time each and every time we met with him. He even wore a tie in our wedding colors which I thought was a sweet touch :) He worked with both of us to ensure that we had everything we wanted and to make sure that we were comfortable and ready for our day! Because my husband and I are of different faiths, Victor worked to make sure that we both were represented in our comfort zones and it was truly a wonderful experience. Thank you for everything Victor! You will be more than pleased having Victor at your wedding!!

My husband and I were married by Victor Oswald, a Celebrant, in an outdoor ceremony. We met with him once, communicated via email, responded to his questionnaire, and he was present (though late from getting lost) for the rehearsal. He wrote us a custom ceremony with vows and words we approved ahead of time. Several people asked if we wrote our own vows and if they could have a copy of the ceremony, so I believe it was well-received. I liked what he wrote about the rings and that he put in personal information from a questionnaire we had taken for him. However, it is now almost a month after our wedding and when I did not receive the copies of our marriage license from the county clerk after requesting them over two weeks ago, I contacted their office. They said they never received our license from our officiant, but they had my request and my check waiting to be processed. When I called the officiant, he claimed he sent in our license the Monday after we were married. The next day, the county clerk said the had just received the marriage license that morning. I find that just unacceptable.
