My experience at Memories was what dreams are made of. They had a wide selection of dresses of all sizes, but especially a wide range of plus size dresses. The styles are current a...
nd affordable. They make you feel like you are family and accommodate for guests you want to bring. They don’t do alterations in house, put provide a list of trusted seamstresses in the area. They will also house your dress and steam it free of charge the week of the wedding when you buy your dress with them.
I loved my experience with Memories! I loved how easy it was to book an appointment online and I felt like the timeline in which we discussed from ordering my dress was perfect. I ...
didn't feel like I was 'on display' for the whole store which I appreciated when trying on dresses. This was the first and only bridal shop that I visited, and overall I had a great experience. The bridal consultant was very helpful made sure I felt comfortable and not pressured by my family members that came to the appointment. I The measurements that were taken were accurate, and they ordered me a dress that required very few alterations. I like that they also sent me home with a list of alterations businesses as it was also a great recommendation. I got the dress of my dreams, and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day!
I highly recommend Memories as they are incredibly helpful. Madelyn was amazing and pulled dresses based off of everything I was saying. Prices are reasonable as well.
The staff was patient, friendly, and helpful. I loved my experience here :)

I just love Memories. From the moment you walk in, it's such a bright and beautiful space, you already feel special. Their dress selection is incredibly lovely, and it feels like t...
hey have something for everyone; from more traditional gowns to cool newer styles, they really do care about you finding a dress that really represents who you are and what you love. The service is great; their team is so helpful in navigating the selection, and the personal attention really makes the whole experience special. I fell in love with a style that had been discontinued, so the sample was the last one. It rubbed into my skin a bit in a few places, and our consultant, Kelsey, really went above and beyond to make sure everything with the dress would come together before I made my decision; recommending a specific seamstress, and even reaching out during the appointment to ensure that the needed alterations could be made. I was so happy I got to buy the dress I loved and feel confident about that decision when it was the last of that style. We returned a few times to buy accessories, my Maid of Honor's dress (note: they no longer carry bridesmaids' dresses, but have a great mother's selection), and my mother's dress. We had Kelsey each time, which was so great because she already knew me, knew my dress and my preferences so she could help us pick something complementary. My mom and sister both looked amazing that day, and of course, I felt beautiful all day, too. The dresses are in a good price range and are size-inclusive; they really do have everything you could hope for in a wedding dress experience. Thank you so much for helping ensure my day was that much more special!
I got my dress from Memories a year before the wedding and had the BEST experience. They were amazing to work with and considered my wants when pulling dresses. After buying the dr...
ess I used their recommended seamstress, Diane, who is simply the best and worth every penny. She made me feel pretty at every try-on, and my dress fit like a glove. The bustle was even perfect!
The staff was friendly, helpful, and patient.
My dress is beautiful and within a reasonable price range. Definitely recommend to new brides 🥰
I would recommend Memories to everyone! They are very accommodating and friendly. You can tell they really care about you finding your dream dress! I never felt rushed and I always...
felt cared for. Thank you Memories for such a memorable experience!
Loved my dress and the people who helped me find it! Awesome Seamstress
Memories was wonderful for helping me find my dress! They listened to exactly what I liked and disliked about other dresses to help find the one! The only “complaint” I have is abo...
ut their tux rental service. I was less than pleased with receiving different answers on when we could return our rentals, miscommunication, and my dads tux coming in only 2 days before the wedding. They clearly focus on gowns more than anything else (understandable) so if you choose them for tuxes, plan carefully and have all communication written to prove what was agreed upon!!

rived. At each appointment I was treated graciously and given the time I needed. I was so happy with the selection available as well! Many gorgeous dresses.
All the staff was always very welcoming and helpful! Thank you for helping me find my perfect wedding dress!
Great selection and reasonably priced! I went during their sample sale and was able to get a beautiful gown at half the cost. Everyone there was helpful and accommodating.

st appointment of the day, she never made us feel rushed or hurried. There were cookies and water and Kimberly took everything I said about my venue and the necessity of pockets in my dress to heart, helping me get the most gorgeous dress I could hope for. It was amazing. I cannot say enough good about the experience. I’m not a tiny person, and I had some dread about trying on dresses, but the range of sizes available at the shop was amazingly extensive and we were able to make all dresses work to know what it would look like. So happy! Thank you!
Memories was fantastic. They store, steam, and press your dress to perfection for your big day. The seamstress they recommended was fantastic as well. I want to live in my weddi...

nded up narrowing it down to one dress at my first appointment but wasn't 100% certain (I've always been bad with decisions) and when I came back for my second appointment I ended up buying that first dress! However, when Kim saw that I just wanted to be certain before purchasing, she let me try on about 20 more dresses and was supportive the whole time. I had been to a few other shops in Florida before going here when I visited my parents, and I am so glad I did! Memories is where my sister bought her wedding dress, and I am so glad I was able to find mine there too!

or me based on my very vague description of what I thought I wanted. I tried on about 10 dresses, critiquing what I liked or didn't like about them. Then Monica pulled out a dress she called a wild card because of how different it was, but I fell in love with it as soon as I put it on. It fit like it was made for me without any alterations. I was so happy with my wedding dress and I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a bridal gown in the Kalamazoo area.
I recently purchased my wedding gown from Memories. Bailey was amazing during my appointment. She listened to my desires, and patiently let me go through many dressed until I found...
what style I liked best. She compiled all of my favorite aspects about all of these different dresses and found the perfect one for me. She never pushed me or showed me anything that wasn't within my budget. I never got overwhelmed and felt supported the entire way. A wonderful and easy experience.
Memories is amazing, easy going, friendly staff, amazing hours, and excellent product lines for up and coming brides. Extremely happy with every aspect of Memories!
My bridal appointment at Memories was a dream. I was treated like a queen, and found my dress at my first appointment!
Kimberly made me feel like I was the only girl in the store, ...
and was tuned in to exactly how I was reacting to each dress. She was so good at letting me "shop" the dresses myself, but then pulled pieces she knew I would love.
It was an amazing experience, and I would recommend Memories as the first place to go for all future brides!
Kimberly was amazing! She made me feel totally comfortable and choose the most beautiful dresses for me to try on based on what I liked and didn't like. She ended up picking my dre...

Kimberley was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was upbeat, positive & a lot of help throughout the entire experience.
Thank you!

Found my dress in 30 minutes! My consultant, sam, was really sweet and helpful. Spent more than I wanted to but my dress is GORGEOUS and I'm so glad I went here!
Best bridal shop in Kalamazoo! Memories was able to squeeze me in last second and I really appreciated it. It's a well organized, cute store. They carry good brands and a decent nu...
mber of dresses. From all the places I went, I really liked how Memories provided a corset and skirt slip. It made it easier to put dresses on quickly and I felt less exposed during changes. Everyone there was very helpful. Unfortunately they had already sold the samples of all the specific dresses I was interested in trying on so I ended up saying yes to the dress in Grand Rapids, but one of Memories' dresses was still in my top 5! They also have beautiful prom/special occasion dresses that I was eyeing on my way out.

he associate and the dress I ended up picking was the one she picked out!! Obviously they did a great job finding me the perfect dress , as well as helping me choose my shoes, jewelry and hair piece. Thank you so much I felt like a princess on my wedding day!
While this salon will probably be great so some brides - it was NOT for me. I am not a standard size - even though it hurts me to say, I'm definitely considered plus sized. This me...
ant that a lot of what they had just didn't fit, and it's hard to envision yourself in a dress that is clipped on. Also, their prices were out of my budget, and the ones that did fit my budget were "sample only" - so I had to get that particular one, which of course didn't fit.
I was also concerned with how little the consultant seemed to listen to me. I had a very clear idea of what I wanted (and didn't want) and she consistently tried to get me into dresses that were NOT what I wanted (and I had told her many times). I did like how the consultant took time to get to know me and talk to me about my fiance (how we met, what we do for jobs, etc.) but really wished she carried that over to what I said about my dream dress.
I ended up finding the dress elsewhere, and did not go through Memories.
Memories Bridal was an excellent bridal salon for me. It was the only salon that I looked at and actually bought the first dress that I tried on! I enjoyed their staff and they wer...
e accommodating as I needed to come back a couple of times to talk about the fit prior to setting up my seamstress appointments. Diane was the seamstress that I used for my gown. She is a preferred seamstress of memories and she did a great job altering my dress. She was a little rough around the edges but overall it was a very good experience.
Memories was an amazing experience! They have BEAUTIFUL dresses and an amazing staff. They took their time showing us everything we wanted to see and letting me try on as many dres...
ses as I wanted to! The ladies never made us feel rushed. Once we had it narrowed down, she put me back in the top dresses to see them again - it really felt like a very personal experience. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything that day, either. I ended up going back a couple days later to try them on again and ended up choosing my dress! They don't have their own seamstresses but they have a recommended list and some will work out of Memories for your appointments - I highly recommend Diane but call her fast, because she books up quickly! :)
Absolutely love this store! My appointment went very smoothly, and never once did I feel rushed or pressured. I also feel that the selection they have is the perfect size; big enou...

d up inviting my entire bridal party and my mom and mother in-law to help me find the dress. Although that was quite the big group, Memories didn't bat an eye. They were very welcoming to all and kept my budget a secret which was important to me.
My seamstress met me right at Memories and they stored my dress for about 8 months. They also pressed my dress and had it ready for me the Thursday before my Saturday wedding.
I got my dress, bridesmaids dresses, and alterations done at Memories. I loved the service I received at Memories, but was appalled at the cost of alterations. It cost nearly half ...
my dress and there were minimal alterations needed. Overall, I would recommend Memories for any bride, just look elsewhere for alterations!

ried this summer. (He just hadn't officially asked yet because we lived apart) I was so excited to find my dream dress on sale and they were super helpful! I even went in a few months before our wedding because my dress no longer fit and they recommended a seamstress and completely calmed my nerves. I also purchased my veil and undergarments from them. I was so pleased with my experience at Memories! They are a bit pricey but if you are looking for the real deal this is definitely it!

s huge and the staff is excellent. They made me feel so comfortable and made it fun. I found my dress there and it was on sale! Absolutely love Memories and I would recommend anyone to go there. I live 2 hours away, but it was totally worth the drive.
I worked with Melanie and she was AWESOME! They make it a great experience, and don't hover when you are looking at the dresses on the rack. Not pushy at all, very accommodating. ...

here are total pros! Linsey was such a sweetheart and stuck it out with me and my maid of honor while I tried like 7 or 8 dresses.
It is always refreshing to have genuine help, especially in these types of errands that for some reason can turn into quite the overwhelming task. Linsey and all the girls from the shop were always the kindest and eager to help in any way they could!
It is THE place to go for your wedding dress. They have so many options for pretty much every type of budget and all kinds of taste. You will not regret it, believe me! I got questions and comments all night long about either how pretty the dress was or guests asking me where I got it :)
We also rented the groom and groomsmen tuxes and that was a total win! The guys looked dapper and chic and are still getting comments about how elegant and fitted the tuxes were!
My daughter found a dress off the rack and it was beautiful. They were very helpful.
I wanted to find the perfect dress with everyone one there as a witness, like what you see on Say Yes To The Dress. I thought I found the one, but after a few months of going back ...
and forth I realized it was the wrong dress. The girls at the shop were very sweet and understanding when I told them I had another dress in mind and needed to transfer the money I had down over to the new dress. Piece of cake. The dress was ordered, it came in quicker then they expected and I was able to take it home a few days later once I tried it on! It was perfect! Love the girls at Memories. Only downside is they don't have their own seamstress.

theart top. The staff here is amazing and will work with you every step of the way! I had heard amazing reviews from all the brides in the Kalamazoo area that this was the place to go and I knew that they would have my dream dress. Thank you to Chelsea, Jill, Selena and Kyle for helping me for two years to find the perfect dress for my perfect wedding! I absolutely felt like a Princess meeting my Prince at the Castle ;) The staff is amazing, the dress selection is amazing and I couldn't be any happier with this decision to get my wedding dress here. :)
I also had gotten my bridesmaids dresses here as well. We costumed ordered the colors. When the girls and I had looked at the dress they had it there in black with white lace background with a red bottom. It was absolutely stunning! I knew I didn't want a traditional ugly bridesmaid dress, I wanted my girls to feel and love their dresses as well. So instead of the black and red combo, We had ordered it in white and candy pink. The colors matched perfectly and the girls looked stunning in them! I would buy this dress for myself to wear out somewhere! It's just absolutely beautiful. The girls' dresses fit perfectly for the theme of our fairytale wedding :)
All in all, this was one of the best experiences of my life. I wouldn't change a thing and Memories has been absolutely amazing to me during this whole process of our wedding. I cannot thank them enough for all that they've done for me!

Lee, especially, and more Maggie Sottero samples). They have a HUGE selection of tuxedos, with the option to rent by the piece (as we did, since we didn't need the shoes, jackets, or ties), as well as flat front pants. All of our guys were very happy with their outfits.

ses were not size 2. They had lots of different styles and sizes. They are more of a boutique so they make you feel special like you're on one of the bridal shows on tv without having to spend a fortune. I think most of they're dress were under $1700.
The selection at Memories is fantastic, they are wonderful to work with and overall I was incredibly pleased!!! I would definitely recommend this if your looking for bridal wear!

Why not rate them 5 stars? I had a very short engagement so I had to buy my dress off the rack, I asked if they discounted their dresses if you bought off the rack and was told "no, because we make sure our dress our in perfect condition and it will be cleaned and looking brand new for you", so I was disappointed when I went in to see my dress after they had done everything to get it cleaned up and looking brand new and I was not impressed, it looked like they hadn't even touch a single thing. There were minor things I had noticed before purchasing the dress and they said it would be taken care of and it wasn't until I went back and pointed all of them out. They did fix them right away but even then it wasn't quite as clean as I had hoped. It was still stunning and I wouldn't have changed the dress I purchased or gone anywhere else, I only wish they hadn't told me it would look brand new when I took it home...I think is always best to under promise and over deliver verses the other way around.
