team were our photographers at our August 2015 wedding. We had conversations with Henry prior to our wedding. He wanted to know our picture style, what style we liked, how we wanted our pictures to look. Honestly, in retrospect we had some general ideas and we really didn't know specifics. The day of our wedding Henry's team came to my bridal suite and began taking photos. Throughout the night, we never really saw Henry, except during the planned family photos and at the end of the night for a few staged shots. At our picture reveal, Henry brought myself and my husband to tears as we watched the story of our wedding come to life. There were pictures of us that we never knew he had taken. Henry was all over the place and he had taken pictures of our families and friends, that without MOB, we would have never seen. Furthermore there were artistic details that were added to make pictures pop. These pictures were able to tell our story. He captured the excitement and joy that existed on that day. Little did we know that our choice in photographers would be the key to our joy in sharing our lasting memories of what turned out to be the best day of our lives together. Henry Spencer of Memories of Bliss took time to show us what we should expect for that day, choices in photo albums and portraits, and took the time to go over the contract intricately. To my pleasant surprise, just as my ceremony was to begin, Henry and his assistant Pam arrived from a wedding scheduled prior to mine. n I had with Mr. Henry he has been nothing but a wealth of knowledge. He explained things to us about a wedding that didnt even have to do with just photography. My husband, our kids and myself went to consult with Mr. Henry and Mrs. Pam in their studio and immediately fell in love with their work. The moment you walk in you get that feeling of home and just great friendly people. They asked us question about US to get to know US and our family. They spoke and laughed with our children, we talked and talked like we were extended family. They made us feel so comfortable. Funny thing is my husband told them (and everybody) about the special shoes he just had to have. Few months later Mr. Henry called and said hey we are in PA and I think I see the shoes Darron wants. Im going to send you a picture and let me know. Well of course they were the shoes and husband acted silly. Do you know Mr. Henry bought them shoes. My husband tells everyone about that. Just little things that make you happy to meet people and work with them. Too make this long review short Mr. Henry and Mrs. Pam of MOB are just phenomenal people. They take pride in their work and to provide a great quality of shots. I have so many pictures that I do not now what to do with them. But all in all I love this people and would recommend them to anyone and of course work with them again.

. However, something came up and she was unable to attend. My husband then sent an email inquiry to Henry Spencer at Memories of Bliss (this was about 3- 4 weeks before our event..omgoodness, talk about last minute!). Henry responded to the inquiry in less than an hour and said that he would call me after work between 5/5:30. Sure enough he called and we discussed our event, fees and his availability (thankfully he had no prior commitment during the time that we needed him). Long story short, we spoke once or twice more and then the contract was sent. On the day of the event, Henry showed up an hour and a half early to get some pre-lim shots of the venue (its a waterfront location) and shots of my husband and I getting ready. Henry told us the photos would be ready for viewing in about a week, they were ready the following Wednesday! Tears of happiness and joy flowed as my husband and I viewed the photos..they were vibrantly detailed, full of life and told a wonderful love story from the beginning of the evening till the end. Family and friends called and told us how beautiful the photos were and how they too shed tears while viewing them (grown men included :) Our experience with Mr. Spencer and Memories Of Bliss was perfection. Henry is not only excellent behind the lens of the camera, he is also excellent in his customer care & professional courtesy. Many times, the product is good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired..Henry delivered in both areas- with return phone calls, emails and a conversation the week before to insure that he knew exactly what we wanted. Our experience exceeded our expectations, even though we had a short window of time to work with. We would definitely use MoB again and have already referred them to family & friends, as we ourselves had seen Henry's work when friends used his services for their wedding 2 years ago. I knew, and also heard from many people that, it is so important to have a great photographer during the wedding planning process. MOB was honestly the third company I looked into, however it was not the last. Once I entered the MOB website it was just something that kept me coming back. I would compare Henry’s site to other competitors, however NO other company could win me over like Memories of Bliss did! After showing my then fiancé the website we chose to set up an appointment with both Henry and Pam as we loved their photography style from things we saw on their website. Each picture was just captured in such a beautiful way, from the angle to the lighting just beautiful! I was a little nervous before our first appointment (as I had obviously never signed a contract with a wedding photographer for a wedding before), and they made us feel so welcome and comfortable. We ended up using Henry for our engagement photos, (which came out AWESOME), and seven hours on the wedding day with two photographers (Henry and Kevin), and we also purchased an album, which we can’t wait to see! By the way, my now Husband stated that Kevin was great to work with as well! The entire MOB TEAM are all wonderful to work with!! :) Every experience with them was amazing. We had so much fun during all our sessions and seeing the final product was the best! to M.O.B. directly I checked out their web site and found myself in awe of the site's layout initially, then the background music, and lastly I was blown away by all of the great photographs. The site sold me before I even had a conversation with anyone. After viewing the site I knew this was the company for me. So, I reached out to Henry Spencer (the owner of the company and lead photographer) and immediately felt like I was talking to an old friend and decided to make an appointment for me and my fiancé to meet with Henry and his business partner Pam. Henry and Pam believe in getting to know each couple to go over their vision for their wedding and to allow you the opportunity to get to know them and what their company has to offer. Our initial meeting was laid back, but professional, and we were not made to feel like WE HAD TO contract with M.O.B. or that we were being pressured into anything. My fiancé and I really appreciated that which made our decision to contract with M.O.B. even easier. In between meeting with Henry and our wedding date it was discovered that Henry was already scheduled to shoot another wedding the same day as ours. Due to this unfortunate calendar error that prevented Henry from being able to shoot my wedding (to my dismay) but he left me and my fiancé in the capable hands of his understudy Tony. My fiancé and had a one on one meeting with Tony to get to know him and to allow him to get to know us the same way we had gotten to know Henry and Pam. We were just as pleased from a personality stand point with Tony as we were with Henry. Also, during our initial meeting with Henry and Pam we had already seen some of Tony’s work. So, we already knew from a photography standpoint that we were in capable hands. OUR WEDDING DAY- Fast forward to our wedding day… from beginning to end M.O.B. exceeded our expectations. Our photographer Tony was on time, prepared, and represented M.O.B. as if he was the lead photographer. Although Tony stepped in for the majority of our evening wedding Henry and Pam still found a way to come to my wedding (which was quite a distance from where they live might I add) after shooting all day at another wedding to take shots of me and my husband. If that’s not going above and beyond and making a great name for your brand I don’t know what is? Thank you guys for that we really appreciated it. THE PHOTOS- Our wedding photos were ready pretty quickly (about 2 weeks) and they were out of this world!! There are some photos that make me wonder, who are these people? and then trying to be slick afterwards me and my husband(now)decided to check Mr. Henry Spencer and see if he was still available. Henry Spencer was a life saver for our big day May 25, 2013. Good thing we started looking early. When we went to meet Henry Spencer we felt that this time we had made the right decision. We met up with Henry and Pam downtown to do our engagement photos. We were so excited on how they were able to get nice and unique shots that some photographers wouldn't do. Once we got our engagement photos and show them to our parents they couldn't believe the out come and couldn't wait to see how the wedding photos would be. On the day of the wedding, Henry, Pam, and the Memories of Bliss team were on time during the whole craziness of getting prepare for the wedding. They were able to get great shots while getting ready in the middle of people being everywhere. During our wedding reception Mr. Henry was able to do a slideshow of our wedding ceremony, our guest were so surprise on how fast and amazing the pictures came out to be. Since I(the bride) was running really late Mr. Henry let us know that his time was up and if I wanted him and his team to stay a little longer. We had two meetings, the first about an hour and the second (we stopped by sort of unannounced) about thirty mins. Henry was great and very informative. He listened to our wants and needs and gave us very honest and helpful feedback on what to expect. This was a huge help because we had some interesting happenings throughout the big day. During these times they remained professional and focused as Henry gave direction and continued to deliver despite unexpected obstacles. They were on time and in place but were never in the way of the proceedings. PICTURES- Everyone has been talking to us about how great the photos look. I was Blown Away at how great everything came out. ok at the pictures, the clarity makes us feel like we're actually right where we were on June 4th. Engagement pictures also came with the package and they looked as though they came out of a magazine. I must admit I, the bride, don't enjoy taking pictures and rarely do so, but Henry and Pam made us feel at ease and our photos reflected it. He does really care about his clients and makes every effort to provide a top knotch product by making sure you are prepared for your session. We love the fact that his goal is to capture moments that are unique to the client. These photos are not your ordinary still shots taken at a local photography studio. For example, we love to go camping, so some of our photos capture us ouside, near the water (with props such as cooler, lawn chairs, campfire, etc.), in our camping gear. There are other shots of us in a change of clothing that are less casual and capture moods of romance and laughter. We got all this and more at an awesome affordable price. Tony (our engagement session photographer) met us in our original location choice (Gallery Place), which my fiance and I quickly realized was not the best option for us. Tony, understanding of this, followed us to Georgetown where we were able to locate the perfect spot. Although you can tell that he has done many similar sessions, Tony treated our shoot uniquely. He was laid back throughout the shoot and made us feel very comfortable (despite the bone chilling 35 degree weather). We had a few ideas for the shoot, but for the most part, we had Tony tell us where to go and what to do. He shot us at a variety of locations (indoor and out) and angles (with different lighting) throughout the Georgetown waterfront. 
Understanding that we were working on an extremely tight schedule, Henry and Tony were able to deliver our engagement pictures the next day…and they far exceeded our expectations! As pleased as we our with our engagement pictures, we can do nothing less but recommend MoB.

Upon arriving to the meeting, at his home studio, the first photo that I saw was of a married couple on a rock, that looked like they were on some exotic island, and my exact words to him was, “I want a picture like that”! He then began to explain to Brian and me that the he worked the HenSpen magic, and placed them in the actual photo. That is when Brian said “Your Hired”. I must say that I wanted to hire him than, but I needed a little more convincing. Henry than contacted Brian and I, about two months, prior to our wedding day, of August 11, 2012, to let us know that where ever we wanted him to shoot our engagement session, he was there. I have always felt that I was not a very photogenic person, and for a photo to look good of me, well, the photographer would have to have that special touch, in other words, the HenSpen touch. Brian and I met one another in the roller skating rink, Crystal Skate, in Temple Hills, MD, and decided that since that is where it all began, why not go back to the same place that started it all. Henry arrived on time, and prepared to take our pictures. I had so much trouble trying to find something to wear, that my fiancé, Brian, had to remind me to be comfortable and just be myself, because of course after the photo session, “YES”, and we were staying in the skating rink to get our Thursday roll in. We were a little unsure of what and how to pose, so Henry just said, “Don’t mind me, just skate like you normally do!” So that’s what we did. OMG!!! Those photos were so engaging and most of all, I was so beautiful, I told Henry” that he was the man. They were so natural and genuine, I really looked good. But that was just an appetizer for the main course, “The Wedding”. Well, being of Jamaican descent, we are no strangers to rain. So trust me when I tell you that it rained sooooo hard, the wind blew soooooo strong, that it was almost like god was talking to us, saying, “Ok, so you wanna be married, hah? Well, if you can weather this storm, I know that your union will be forever blessed, and will not waiver the future storms that lay ahead”! And, it rained, and it rained, and the wind blew, and it rained, and it rained…But yet once again, Henry worked his HenSpen magic, and our wedding photos were brilliant. The pictures were so mind blowin, huh, you couldn’t even tell, that it rained buckets. The teams of photographer’s at Memories of Bliss are real people that told our story unlike no other. Brian and I laugh and cry when we look at our fun filled memories, or our story. But I had to save the best for last. Everyone, Brides and Grooms, ladies and gentlemen, the young lady telling this story is the one in the photo that looks like the Essence Magazine Cover. All I remember is the photographer saying to me, “Ok, I want you to look up to the sky and make like your throwing your bouquet, and that’s what I did!” And once again, Henry worked his HenSpen magic, and there you have it. That photo of me, on the most beautiful day of my life was as real as it looks, the sky was so beautiful and peaceful, besides the birth of our son, Lenoxx, made and makes me feel like a princess,” The pic is the bomdiggity!” So you decide…
