Memory Lane Bus Co is a unique wedding transportation and photo booth company based in Charleston, SC. Getaway car and shuttle services are provided via a vintage and stylish 1977 Volkswagen Microbus that adds a touch of timeless elegance to the big day.
The retro, bohemian atmosphere of the bus makes it a captivating feature at your wedding celebration. This particular vehicle is the camper model, so the wood paneling and curtains will make you feel relaxed and at home at the end of your big day. Owner Charlton Brownell learned how to drive in his parents' VW bus. He feels a strong connection to these vehicles as a symbol of good vibes and celebration, and he wants to share this enjoyment with you and your guests on your special day.
The bus is available as a getaway car or shuttle service. Your experienced chauffeur will ensure you depart and arrive at your destination in style. If you want a charming addition to your special day that your loved ones will adore, look no further.

I learned how to drive with one of these cars. My parents bought one in 1972 and kept it running until the early 2010’s. Its soul and charm as a symbol of good vibes and celebration touched many lives. Since that vehicle no longer runs, I bought this one to resurrect and spread that spirit.
This bus is a 1977 camper van (also known as the Westfalia). The original interior wood paneling and exterior color (officially sage green but I think it is closer to olive) have been maintained throughout its lifetime. I look forward to sharing it with you or your guests!
