About this vendor
Memphis Soul is DFW’s premiere Motown & classic dance band. We are based in the Dallas area, but love to travel all over Texas and beyond.
Choosing Memphis Soul for your wedding means you will experience the rich musical legacy of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, but also popular standards from Frank Sinatra to current dance music. There is something for every guest to enjoy!
While Memphis Soul has opened for and performed with artists such as Mary Wilson from the Supremes, Sister Sledge, and members of Earth Wind and Fire, we would also love the opportunity to help make your wedding an event to remember.
We can’t wait to hear about your ideas for your special day!

If I could give Memphis Soul 10 stars, I would! Brad is very communicative and is so accommodating. The whole band is very nice and extremely professional and easy to work with. T...
he music was incredibly tight and the singers are amazing! They had the dance floor crowded the whole night! Additionally, they learned some new songs that we specifically requested and did beautiful renditions of them. We are still getting comments that Memphis Soul was the best band our guests had ever seen. This band is extremely talented, fun, creative, and the best decision we could have made! We are so thrilled with our reception, and one of the biggest reasons is Memphis Soul! We are so grateful for all that they did during the planning process and during the reception!
Memphis Soul band went above and beyond to make our daughter’s wedding an incredible evening! They are so talented, engaged the crowd and we’re easy to work with. We received so ma...
ny compliments! We appreciated their flexibility in setting up in two different areas and following the newlyweds with horns at the end of the evening. Highly recommend!

Best. Decision. Ever. When my husband and I started planning our wedding, we knew one thing: We had to have a kick-a** live band. But when it came down to finding that band, we ra...
n into some issues: We wanted a group that would bring a ton of energy to the dance floor, but aren’t exactly a pop hits kind of couple. We wanted a range of male and female vocalists, but aren’t really about the cheesy contemporary bands with the dancers and all. We just wanted good, timeless music everyone could love. We stumbled upon Memphis Soul Band in a Google search for “DFW soul band” -- and we’re so grateful we did. The band was a pleasure to work with throughout our planning, and when it came time for the wedding, absolutely NAILED IT. Their set brought so much fun to the night that when it was time for our grand exit, we had to literally shoe people off the dance floor. Months later, our friends and family still talk about how incredible the band was.
If you’re not exactly a pop hits kind-of couple, and maybe call yourselves old souls like my husband and I do, this band is absolutely for you. Alternatively, maybe you’re just wanting to get everyone on the dance floor - young and old alike. These guys will do just that. We had the best time, and know all our guests did too, and a lot of that is because of Memphis Soul Band. 10/10 would recommend.
They are simply the best! All of our guests are still raving (even a week later) about how fabulous they were. Every single guest was on the dance floor. They helped make our wedd...
ing such a magnificent and unforgettable night for everyone. They made sure every single guest had a wonderful time! I cannot recommend them more. Memphis Soul is the best band EVER!
Memphis Soul was INCREDIBLE. Their professionalism and talent are unmatched. We got married on 11.3.18, and our family and friends continue to comment on how awesome the band was. ...
They were a highlight of our wedding, and I would book them for any event. I worked specifically with Brad (trumpet player) to book Memphis Soul and then determine the songs we wanted to use. The band provided music for both the ceremony (guitar and piano) and the reception (full band). Brad made the time to chat with me over the phone on multiple occasions to discuss logistics, song choices, and more. They even learned a song the week of our wedding to surprise my dad! They are passionate, extremely talented, and able to get everybody dancing (I'm not kidding). 10/10 would recommend!
Hiring Memphis Soul was the best decision we made for our wedding!!!

ad several guests who are also musicians comment on how awesome and tight the band was. To me, that's the ultimate compliment of their sound.
I've probably had 30 guests tell me that this was the best wedding band they've ever heard. They were so much fun, and you could feel their energy emanating from the stage.
I'd recommend Memphis Soul for any couple looking for an AMAZING band.
Memphis Soul Band is spectacular. I cannot tell you how many people came up to me on the dance floor and asked me where I found the fabulous band. They are SO talented, and so ENJO...
YABLE to work with. I booked them through Brad almost a year out and would think of questions randomly every couple of months. While my questions were not especially important, Brad got back to me promptly and treated every minor question as if it was the most important and valid concern ever. He was the most responsive and easy to work with vendor EVER. And again, they were not just easy to work with they were GOOD. My guest were chanting for one more song at the end of the night- no one wanted the party to end. I don't have a single complaint, you should BOOK THEM, you will not be sorry!
Loved them! So entertaining and sounded AMAZING - a great choice for sure!! Highly recommend them.

every single song to make it exactly how I wanted. My guests went on and on and on about how the band was the best part of our wedding! They truly made the night unforgettable. We still have people calling us asking who the band was. Hire them and you will not be let down!!

ed from young to old, and they were really flexible in every way. Brad, the manager guy was super professional and real easy to work with. Punctual, No extra stuffs you didn't expect, just so straightforward and clear in every step on preparation. The guests were shouted out 'one more song!!' badly. We want to highly recommend these guys for your wedding too. I bet you won't regret it.

been to because Memphis Soul Band was so great. The manager Brad is the nicest person and so accommodating. He was quick to email me back and very patient with us when we had to make some changes during the reception. The vocalists are wonderful. Our wedding would not have been the same without Memphis Soul. I HIGHLY recommend them if you want people having a blast at your event.
