Memphis Soul is DFW’s premiere Motown & classic dance band. We are based in the Dallas area, but love to travel all over Texas and beyond.
Choosing Memphis Soul for your wedding means you will experience the rich musical legacy of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, but also popular standards from Frank Sinatra to current dance music. There is something for every guest to enjoy!
While Memphis Soul has opened for and performed with artists such as Mary Wilson from the Supremes, Sister Sledge, and members of Earth Wind and Fire, we would also love the opportunity to help make your wedding an event to remember.

he music was incredibly tight and the singers are amazing! They had the dance floor crowded the whole night! Additionally, they learned some new songs that we specifically requested and did beautiful renditions of them. We are still getting comments that Memphis Soul was the best band our guests had ever seen. This band is extremely talented, fun, creative, and the best decision we could have made! n into some issues: We wanted a group that would bring a ton of energy to the dance floor, but aren’t exactly a pop hits kind of couple. We wanted a range of male and female vocalists, but aren’t really about the cheesy contemporary bands with the dancers and all. We just wanted good, timeless music everyone could love. We stumbled upon Memphis Soul Band in a Google search for “DFW soul band” -- and we’re so grateful we did. The band was a pleasure to work with throughout our planning, and when it came time for the wedding, absolutely NAILED IT. Their set brought so much fun to the night that when it was time for our grand exit, we had to literally shoe people off the dance floor. Months later, our friends and family still talk about how incredible the band was.
If you’re not exactly a pop hits kind-of couple, and maybe call yourselves old souls like my husband and I do, this band is absolutely for you. Alternatively, maybe you’re just wanting to get everyone on the dance floor - young and old alike. These guys will do just that. We had the best time, and know all our guests did too, and a lot of that is because of Memphis Soul Band. 10/10 would recommend.

They were a highlight of our wedding, and I would book them for any event. I worked specifically with Brad (trumpet player) to book Memphis Soul and then determine the songs we wanted to use. The band provided music for both the ceremony (guitar and piano) and the reception (full band). Brad made the time to chat with me over the phone on multiple occasions to discuss logistics, song choices, and more. They even learned a song the week of our wedding to surprise my dad! They are passionate, extremely talented, and able to get everybody dancing (I'm not kidding). 10/10 would recommend!

YABLE to work with. I booked them through Brad almost a year out and would think of questions randomly every couple of months. While my questions were not especially important, Brad got back to me promptly and treated every minor question as if it was the most important and valid concern ever. He was the most responsive and easy to work with vendor EVER. And again, they were not just easy to work with they were GOOD. My guest were chanting for one more song at the end of the night- no one wanted the party to end. I don't have a single complaint, you should BOOK THEM, you will not be sorry!
